Though it was still Wanda's pleasant voice, just a little deeper now, Tony recognized it immediately, it was Harry.
He had successfully entered Wanda's body.
The moment he took control, Harry swept his gaze across the battlefield and asked, "Tony, what's the situation right now?"
"We've entered the final battle against Hydra. This is the battlefield. Hydra is planning to use Project Insight to kill everyone on Earth who might threaten them, and after that, they want to drag Earth into the universe they came from!"
After explaining, Tony added with some concern, "Harry, you're not using your own body right now. Can you really beat Hydra's Supreme Commander?"
Harry looked toward the monstrous figure in the distance, a hulking mass like a small mountain, with countless tentacles writhing across its body, and gave an easy smile.
"It won't be hard."
In the distant battlefield, Hydra's Supreme Commander grabbed Thor and hurled him away, then stomped Abomination underfoot. Arrogance filled his face as he roared, "Hahahahaha! A pack of weaklings. Without that irritating Harry Potter, your world never had any power to resist in the first place!
"I'll admit your world is stronger than the one I once ruled, but it's still no match for the great Hydra!"
Steve stared at the other version of himself, his expression tangled with disbelief and confusion. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't understand how he had become something like this.
So he demanded, "Why? Why did you become Hydra's ruler? We hated Hydra more than anyone, didn't we?"
One of Hydra's heads slowly lowered toward Steve. Its scarlet eyes burned with obsessive madness.
The rasping voice, like metal grinding against metal, rang out in front of him.
"Hated them? That's just childish emotion. You cling to outdated idealism and refuse to see how rotten the world really is. Hydra isn't the enemy, it's the cure!"
He suddenly leaned in closer, his breath carrying suffocating pressure.
"While the Avengers waste time bickering, while politicians dress up lies as peace, only Hydra can bring true order.
"The justice you worship is nothing more than chaos growing wild under the banner of freedom!"
At last, he summed up everything with frenzied certainty.
"Only absolute rule can bring peace, and I, I am destiny itself!
"Kneel, Steve. Submit to the future."
Steve tightened his grip on the edge of his shield until his knuckles turned white. Under the dim light, the star-spangled emblem trembled faintly across its surface.
He met the madness in the other man's eyes head-on, his voice low, but every word rang like steel.
"You call that a cure? Look behind you. An order built on fear is just an even greater form of chaos."
He slammed his shield into the ground, and the sharp clang of metal echoed across the battlefield.
"The moment Hydra used lies to build a cage, you should've understood something, freedom wrapped in chains is not what we ever fought for!"
Captain Hydra looked at the Steve of this universe and sneered. He had seen too many self-righteous fools like this.
He didn't care in the slightest. His little speech just now had been nothing more than a passing whim. He was about to rule this place anyway, and once that happened, everything here would belong to him.
One mere Captain America was no cause for concern.
Soon enough, Hydra's refined brainwashing techniques would wash him clean and turn him into another Captain Hydra.
Captain Hydra let out a low, mocking laugh, his eyes overflowing with contempt.
"Look at that shield in your hand. What an antique. Just like Loki said, you're nothing but an outdated soldier!
"While you charged across battlefields clutching your fantasy of justice, Hydra had already seeped into every corner of the world.
"You think hot blood and good intentions are enough to save it? Look around you. The Avengers are a scattered mess, and S.H.I.E.L.D. is riddled with holes. Your resistance is nothing but an insect trying to shake a tree.
"But Hydra possesses the power to rewrite reality itself. We command technology far beyond this age.
"And you? You're just an obsolete relic the world has left behind, still dreaming that you're some kind of hero.
"Once the only real problem was thrown into some remote corner to get tangled up with the TVA, this war was already decided. Hydra's victory became inevitable!"
Just then, another voice suddenly cut into their conversation.
"Oh? Are you really that sure Harry Potter can't come back? Maybe he's found some other way to interfere with this battle."
Hydra's Supreme Commander frowned and turned his head. When he saw Wanda, he let out a derisive laugh.
"So it's you. I was wondering who it was, turns out it's just one of Harry Potter's retainers. Crossing between parallel universes isn't that easy. Unless someone has an exceptionally rare power, moving between universes always demands an enormous price.
"Besides, according to our intelligence, Harry Potter doesn't possess that ability at all. By now, he's probably already been arrested by the TVA and turned into some miserable temporal criminal."
Then Hydra's Supreme Commander suddenly seemed to remember something, and a vicious grin spread across his face.
"Now that I think about it, you and that girl Gwen seem to matter quite a lot to Harry Potter. Maybe I should capture the two of you and use you to force him into serving Hydra!"
The instant those words fell, Hydra's Supreme Commander attacked Wanda.
All nine massive heads unleashed energy breaths of different attributes, lightning, venom, acid, fire, torrents of water...
Having fully mastered Hydra's power, Hydra's Supreme Commander was absolutely at a near Skyfather-level of strength.
He fully expected to overwhelm Wanda in an instant, defeat her, and take her alive.
Instead, he suddenly realized his attack had been stopped.
A transparent crimson magic shield had appeared in front of Wanda, blocking the barrage completely.
And judging from the way she stood there, stopping it seemed almost effortless. She wasn't struggling in the slightest.
All nine heads of Hydra's Supreme Commander roared at once, the deafening soundwaves rippling through the air like something tangible, making broken stones rise and tremble around him.
The slit pupil in the center head contracted sharply, and its tongue flicked madly.
"That's impossible! How could a near Skyfather-level attack be blocked so easily?!"
His voice was filled with disbelief and fury. One of the heads lunged downward, jaws gaping wide as it bit at the shield, only to be blasted backward by the crimson force, spinning through the air before smashing apart a boulder in the distance.
Once again, all nine heads screamed together, but this time there was unmistakable panic and shock in the sound.
Never, not even once, had he imagined that an all-out attack from him could be neutralized so casually.
"Who are you really? Have you already awakened and become the true Scarlet Witch?!
"No, impossible! According to our intel, you haven't awakened yet!"
There was no arrogance left in Captain Hydra's voice now. Only fear remained.
For the first time, he felt events slipping out of his control.
Wanda's body was even easier to use than Harry had imagined. While inside her, he could bring out almost all of his power.
His real body continuously supplied chaos magic, sending it through the lending network into Wanda's body, and then he manipulated that power to battle Hydra's Supreme Commander.
Hearing the shocked outburst, Harry didn't bother answering. Instead, he pushed his magic past its limits and prepared to kill Hydra's Supreme Commander as quickly as possible.
If he stayed in her body for too long, the surging magic would keep tearing Wanda's body apart.
And already, after only a few dozen seconds, Wanda was starting to complain she couldn't take much more, whining in his mind over and over that it hurt.
Not long ago, Wanda had also joined the little games he and Gwen played together. As for one of his girlfriends, Harry naturally cared a great deal.
So he needed to end Hydra, fast.
Wanda's body was innately compatible with chaos magic. Using her body felt so smooth to Harry that it was almost like wielding his own wand, far more natural than using Nami and the others.
The next moment, Harry curled his hand slightly, and nine swords of lightning appeared before him. Then he formed an electromagnetic field and launched them forward.
Boom!
A shrill sonic crack split the air as the nine lightning swords shot toward Hydra's Supreme Commander's nine heads.
Naturally, Hydra's Supreme Commander did everything he could to block the attack, but every breath blast he spat out was shattered with ease by the lightning swords.
After tearing through the different elemental breaths, the nine lightning swords instantly pierced into all nine of Hydra's heads and nailed them to the ground.
Only now, at this point, did Hydra's Supreme Commander finally identify Harry from the way he cast his spells.
His muscles spasmed wildly. The symbiote covering his body rapidly melted under the lightning, and he cried out in disbelief, "Damn it! Weren't you in a parallel universe? How did you get back? Did the TVA not make a move against you?!"
Naturally, Harry had no intention of giving an enemy useful information. He let out a mocking laugh.
"The TVA isn't capable of giving me any trouble. And who said that just because you can't physically cross the multiverse, you can't interfere with it? Those are two completely different things."
Harry's answer jolted Captain Hydra's memory. His expression shifted, and he ground his teeth.
"Dreamwalking... But Dreamwalking should only let your consciousness descend onto a parallel universe variant of yourself!"
Harry sounded utterly unimpressed.
"But Wanda is my retainer. The Dimensional Demon Gods naturally have ways to project their power through their retainers."
Hydra Steve still wanted to say something, but he no longer had the chance.
Harry suddenly raised one of the lightning swords. At some point, a blinding green light had wrapped itself around the blade, releasing terrifying waves of energy.
The green radiance expanded and lengthened without end. In only a few seconds, it stretched to a hundred meters long.
Unlike the earlier disintegration beam, which had simply been formed by amplifying raw energy, this was a disintegration greatsword forged from countless layers of disintegration beams, inspired by a certain world of heroic spirits.
Its power was dozens of times greater than the disintegration beam, enough to destroy any substance in existence, even Adamantium.
Once everything was ready, Harry swung his arm down and brought the disintegration greatsword crashing toward the earth.
"Excalibur!"
Boom!
The ground split in two beneath the blazing orange slash, and Hydra's Supreme Commander was instantly broken down by the overwhelming disintegration energy.
Just like that, the battle was over.
And at that exact moment, Harry's real body suddenly snapped open its eyes and found that a portal had abruptly appeared right in front of him. Then The Spot waved a hand at him.
"Hello?"
