As soon as Forn teleported to where Odin was standing—before she could say a word or begin protesting—
Odin extended his hand and gave her the spear, saying calmly:
"Try to form a contract with it now."
Forn blinked in surprise, but she quickly grabbed the spear and said stubbornly:
"Alright… let's see. And if this doesn't work, you'll have to apologize to me."
Odin chuckled softly.
At that very moment, he secretly gave the spear an order…
to accept the contract and deceive Forn, so he could gain her trust.
Forn closed her eyes slightly and began pouring her energy into the spear, trying to form a contract with it.
A moment passed…
Then another—
Suddenly she felt something different.
The spear… didn't reject her.
On the contrary.
It accepted her energy easily, as if it welcomed her.
She quickly opened her eyes and looked at Odin with great astonishment.
"It worked! It actually worked!"
Odin looked at her with feigned indifference and said:
"Yes, it worked. Don't you trust me? Or do you think some dwarves are more skilled than I am at this?"
Forn waved her hand quickly in denial.
"No, no! I just thought it would take longer… I didn't expect it to finish this quickly."
Odin shook his head with a sarcastic smile.
"You're intelligent, Forn… but you should understand the strength of our race. A few dwarves won't surpass us even in the craft they specialize in."
Forn fell silent for a moment…
Then something came to her mind.
She reached into her storage tool, pulled out several pieces of raw metal, and said:
"Are these metals good enough to forge powerful weapons?"
The moment Odin saw the metals, his eyes widened slightly.
He picked up one piece and examined it with clear surprise.
"Where did you get these metals? They're… they're excellent."
Forn laughed happily and began taking out more.
One piece after another…
Until she had taken out all the metals she had previously stolen from her father's vault.
She smiled and said:
"All these metals are yours now. I always repay my debts."
Odin immediately frowned and said seriously:
"No, no, Forn. We didn't help you to exploit you. These metals are yours, and we will never take them. That would be theft."
Forn waved her hand dismissively.
"No, no… they're yours now. You're the only person who stood by me during my crisis… and you saved my life."
Before Odin could interrupt and speak again about the old debt he was repaying—
She stepped forward and said in a calm but firm voice:
"It's a gift from me… please accept it."
Odin looked at her for a long moment…
Then he sighed and shook his head.
"You're really stubborn… aren't you?"
He raised his hand slightly.
In the next moment—
A terrifying wind swept through the area.
But it did not harm Forn, nor even touch her.
All it did was lift the pile of metals from the ground…
Then they vanished into the air.
Odin laughed lightly and said:
"Well then… I should thank you for this gift."
Then he looked at her with sudden seriousness.
"What do you want in return? I will help you with all my strength… as long as it does not endanger our homeland."
Forn quickly shook her head.
"No, no! It's just a gift. There's no need to be so serious."
Odin slowly stepped closer…
His eyes observing her carefully.
Then he said in a deep, calm voice:
"Do you want… to ascend to the throne, Forn?"
When Forn heard that, she raised an eyebrow slightly and said in surprise:
"Oh? And will you help me with that?"
Odin calmly shook his head.
"I cannot leave Asgard. The only thing I can do is create chaos in the human empire from afar… nothing more. If you are truly capable, you should take advantage of that."
Forn listened to him with confusion.
"You would help me throw the human empire into chaos? How?"
Odin smiled faintly.
"It will be somewhat difficult… but not impossible."
Then he looked at her again and asked clearly:
"So… do you want to ascend to the throne, Forn?"
Forn remained silent for a long time before answering.
Then she said quietly:
"I dreamed of that my whole life… but now… I don't know if I still want it or not."
Odin looked at her for a moment and said calmly:
"Take your time to think, Forn. And when you find the answer to my question… you will always find me on your side."
As soon as he finished speaking—
He disappeared from his place in the strange way he often did.
Forn looked at the place where he had been standing and said in confusion:
"He still moves like that… that's strange."
But suddenly she felt someone behind her.
She quickly turned around and stepped back cautiously.
"Who… who are you?"
In front of her stood a tall man with blue hair and bright eyes, smiling in a playful way.
He laughed lightly and said:
"No, no… don't be afraid of me. The one you should fear is the man standing behind you, little one."
When Forn heard that, she froze for a moment.
Then she slowly turned around…
And there—
She saw a terrifying man standing silently.
A dense black aura surrounded him, cold like the shadow of death itself.
A chill ran through her body, and she stepped back again, saying weakly:
"You… you are Odin's brothers… aren't you? Athena told me about you."
As soon as she said that, the first man suddenly moved and stood beside her.
With a playful tone he said:
"Oh? And what did she say about us, Forn… little short one?"
The moment Forn heard that, she forgot her fear for a moment and said angrily:
"She said you are fools… and good for nothing."
The man suddenly stopped smiling.
He frowned and looked at her slowly.
"Did Athena really say that? I didn't expect that… did you, Hades?"
The man surrounded by the black aura—Hades—spoke in a voice as cold as ice:
"It doesn't matter whether she said it or not. What matters is that you made the mistake of repeating it to us."
Before Forn could respond—
She heard a third voice in the area.
It was low… strange… yet calm.
"There's no need for all this tension and anger, uncles. She's new to Asgard… she doesn't know the rules yet."
Forn looked toward the voice—
And saw three girls standing there.
They were wearing strange black clothes that looked as if they were made from the skins of extinct animals.
Their appearance was frightening…
And strange at the same time.
But the strangest thing—
Their eyes shone in an unnatural way…
As if they were looking directly into the future itself.
