Chapter 131 - The Secret of the Relationship

Odin looked at his brothers gathered before him and said seriously:

"This is not the right time to talk about this."

"Let's finish tonight… and then we'll talk."

"We don't have time. The day is about to end."

Poseidon looked at him with suspicion and said:

"Why did you do that, Odin?"

"Why did you marry her so quickly?"

Odin looked at him with clear anger:

"Did you think I would play some foolish love game with that woman?"

"I don't have time for such nonsense… so I shortened it."

Then he shook his head and looked at Athena:

"Take care of Forn."

"I don't want any mistakes tonight."

"I want this celebration and marriage to end quickly."

Then he raised his gaze to the sky and sighed:

"This is going to be truly annoying…"

Poseidon and Hades exchanged glances—

as if they understood their brother's share in this decision.

Then they disappeared to continue preparing for the ceremony.

Athena remained with Odin and said in a softer tone:

"Don't be sad, brother."

"Think about the strong child you will have together."

"Don't forget—she comes from an imperial royal lineage."

"Your child will be stronger than most."

Odin thought for a moment…

then nodded and said:

"Go to Forn, sister, and have her prepare for tonight."

Athena sighed—

and carried out what was asked of her.

She disappeared.

Odin remained alone…

staring at his hands.

Then he laughed mockingly:

"I never thought I would marry the woman who used to chase us in the past…"

Then a cold smile appeared—

and he said to himself:

"We must make use of her… to the fullest."

"I don't think she'll die from bearing one child…"

"In fact, it's better if she has more…"

"Children… who possess the power of rulers."

His thoughts deepened—

and the more he thought…

the more convinced he became of his decision.

"Most women who gave birth to powerful children…"

"Were from rare bloodlines."

"But…"

"Not one of them had true royal blood."

He raised his head slightly—

and said coldly:

"I hope this… serves Asgard."

At the same time…

inside Athena's house…

Forn was sitting with her.

The atmosphere was calm…

but the tension was clear.

Forn said, confused:

"What are you doing here?"

"Aren't you supposed to be preparing for the celebration?"

Athena looked at her calmly:

"No."

"Odin asked me to speak with you for a while."

Forn frowned:

"About what?"

Athena stepped closer—

and looked at her seriously:

"There are things you need to know."

"From now on…"

"You are the wife of Asgard's ruler."

Forn looked at her hesitantly:

"Alright… what are these rules?"

She expected—

complicated laws like those of the human empire…

but she was surprised.

Athena smiled and said simply:

"Only one rule, Forn."

"Asgard's orders… are always obeyed."

Forn froze for a moment.

Then she looked at her suspiciously and said:

"That's it?"

"What does that even mean?"

"And who is Asgard, anyway?"

"I heard Odin say he's your ruler…"

"But we humans have a ruler too—"

"And they don't interfere in our lives like this…"

Athena burst into laughter—

almost holding her stomach from laughing.

Then she said:

"Are you… comparing the ruler of humans… to Asgard?!"

Forn looked at her, confused:

"What? Did I say something wrong?"

Athena quickly shook her head:

"No, no… but don't say that again."

Then she leaned closer and said more seriously:

"Our ruler… is different."

"Asgard is not just a ruler…"

"He is a higher entity…"

"He is the one who granted us power… and created our path."

She paused for a moment…

then said lightly:

"We are a race born for war, Forn."

"As for the continent of Mira… and its people…"

"They are weak… living under the shadow of dragons."

But she suddenly stopped—

and shook her head:

"No, no… let's leave that for now."

Then she took Forn's hand and said:

"What matters now—"

"Is that you prepare for the marriage."

In an instant—

Forn's face turned completely red.

And she said in a soft voice:

"Alright…"

"Let's continue this conversation later…"

She wanted to ask more…

to understand…

But the word "marriage" alone—

made all her thoughts disappear.

Elsewhere…

Poseidon and Hades were sitting—

watching the children prepare for the celebration.

But Poseidon's expression…

was clearly angry.

He shouted at one of the children:

"You! Don't put the chair here!"

"Put it over there!"

Then he muttered angrily:

"My brother married that annoying woman…"

"And now she's even more arrogant…"

Hades looked at him curiously:

"Did she disrespect you?"

Poseidon replied immediately:

"Of course!"

"She always calls me an idiot…"

"And orders me around like I'm a servant!"

Hades looked at him more closely…

then said slowly:

"And… did you do what she asked?"

Poseidon paused for a moment.

Then he looked away—

and continued giving orders to the children as if nothing happened.

Hades narrowed his eyes.

Then he stood up—

and approached him.

And said in a low voice:

"What are you hiding, brother…?"

"Does that woman… have something on you…?"
