Both Poseidon and Hades looked at the sleeping child in Odin's arms. After examining her carefully for a few moments, they finally realized that she was indeed human, just as Athena had said.
At that very moment, Poseidon completely changed his attitude. Without even blinking, he said as though he had not accused his brother of anything only moments earlier:
"Oh, then why did you bring this little one here? She must possess something—or some interesting power—for you to bring her here without telling us."
Odin looked at Poseidon, then at his three siblings.
All of them wore expressions of curiosity and an intense desire to know the truth.
Odin gave a faint smile and began walking toward his house as he said calmly:
"Once I put this child in bed, I will tell you everything that happened."
The siblings exchanged glances.
There was something unusual in Odin's tone that suggested the matter was far more serious than they had imagined.
Hades nodded and said:
"Let us wait for him at my house and talk there."
Poseidon and Athena nodded in agreement, and all three headed to Hades's home, which stood near Odin's.
Odin entered his house quietly. He sat down on one of the large chairs, then set Elina down on a seat across from him.
Looking at her with a small smile, he said:
"Are you going to wake up now, or will you continue pretending to sleep?"
He leaned forward slightly and added in a calm tone:
"That act is no longer convincing. I have known for quite some time that you were pretending, so there is no need to continue."
Elina opened her eyes at once.
Before she could say a word, Odin asked with genuine curiosity:
"Why did you tell everyone that I am your father?"
He raised an eyebrow and added:
"Do you want me to adopt you? Or was it simply a spontaneous reaction?"
Before she could answer, he asked a deeper question:
"And is Forn the person you want to take revenge on?"
Silence filled the room for several moments.
Then Elina's expression shifted slightly, and she said in a low voice:
"How did you know?"
Odin smiled and pointed at her.
"You told me."
Surprise appeared in her eyes, so he continued:
"When Forn spoke, the moment you heard her voice, your aura changed ever so slightly."
Then he added with confidence:
"No one else might have noticed, but I am Odin. It is only natural that I sense even the smallest changes."
Elina's astonishment deepened.
Before she could ask whether he intended to stop her from taking revenge, Odin suddenly stood up.
He walked toward the door and said in a calm, clear voice:
"It is true that Forn has become my wife."
He paused for a moment, then continued:
"But I will not stop your revenge."
Elina's eyes widened in shock.
Odin went on in a decisive tone:
"When you become strong enough and decide that you truly wish to take revenge, I will not stand in your way."
Then he added with a faint smile:
"On the contrary, I will support you, and I will not allow anyone to interfere in your battle."
Elina was stunned.
More importantly, she realized that Odin was not lying to her.
After thinking for a short time, she asked quietly:
"Why are you doing this for me?"
"You have only known me for a short time."
"Why are you standing by my side like this?"
Odin did not answer immediately.
He opened the door and prepared to leave, but he paused for a moment and said a short sentence that left a deep impression on her heart:
"Forn is not from Asgard."
Then he turned to her and added:
"She is merely a guest here."
He was silent for a second before finishing:
"But you... have become an Asgardian warrior."
Then he stepped outside and closed the door behind him quietly.
He could sense his siblings waiting in Hades's house, so he headed there at once.
Elina remained alone in the house.
For several moments, she stared at the closed door, reflecting on Odin's words.
Then she let out a small, cold laugh.
With some difficulty, she climbed down from the enormous chair where he had placed her and looked around with a clear frown.
Then she said in annoyance:
"Is everyone in Asgard this huge?"
She glanced at the massive furniture around her and muttered sarcastically:
"Even the chairs here are absurdly large..."
Elina frowned deeply and began wandering through Odin's house, exploring her surroundings.
She had already realized that she could not take revenge on Forn right now.
She was still weak to a truly pitiful degree.
So she decided to change her way of thinking for the time being and occupy herself with anything other than thoughts of revenge.
As she moved among the gigantic furniture, she became increasingly irritated by how small she was compared to everything around her.
She looked at the enormous table, then at the towering chairs, and muttered in a low voice:
"I need to find a way to become taller."
The moment she said that, she heard laughter behind her.
She turned around quickly and cautiously.
Standing before her was a tall boy whose body was nearly twice her size.
Elina immediately frowned and said coldly:
"How did you get in here? And why were you sneaking around?"
She took a small step backward, maintaining her guard.
The boy looked at her and abruptly stopped laughing.
Then his eyes widened in alarm. He slapped his forehead and pleaded:
"Please, don't tell my father that I snuck into his house."
He swallowed nervously and added with obvious fear:
"If he finds out I came in without permission, he'll punish me severely... and he might even forbid me from eating for an entire day!"
Elina stared at him in great surprise.
Then she asked calmly:
"Are you afraid that your father will punish you by not letting you eat for one day?"
The instant she said those words, all of her anxiety disappeared.
She realized that the boy standing before her was a very simple person... and perhaps rather foolish.
The boy nodded rapidly and pleaded:
"Yes! Yes! Please don't!"
He quickly began thinking of something he could offer her in exchange for her silence.
Suddenly his face lit up, and he declared proudly:
"If you don't tell my father, I'll show you my terrifying power!"
Elina listened to him and suppressed the urge to throw him out of the house.
Yet despite herself, curiosity crept into her mind.
So she said calmly:
"If you first tell me why you snuck in here, and show me this terrifying power you keep talking about... I may consider it."
The boy nodded enthusiastically and replied at once:
"I just wanted to see you."
Then he pointed at her and added:
"My father brought you to Asgard, which means you are special."
He scratched his head and continued with complete honesty:
"I only wanted to know what makes you special. That's all."
Elina sensed the sincerity in his words.
After a few moments of thought, she said:
"Very well. I believe you."
Then she folded her arms and added coldly:
"But so far... you still haven't shown me your power."
The moment the boy heard that, he broke into a broad grin.
He stood up straight, puffed out his chest proudly, and said excitedly:
"Very well! Watch my terrifying power!"
He raised his hand.
In the next instant, sparks of electricity began dancing at his fingertips.
Then lightning spread rapidly across his entire body.
Within seconds, he stood before Elina like the living embodiment of thunder itself.
His body was surrounded by glowing energy.
Bolts of lightning crackled continuously around him.
And his eyes shone with immense power.
Elina stared at him in genuine astonishment.
At that moment, she realized that she had greatly underestimated the boy standing before her.
He might seem naïve—perhaps even foolish.
But there was no doubt that he possessed truly terrifying power.
And this child was Odin's son... the heir to the power of thunder and lightning.
