In the sky where Thor, Ran, and Sol were fighting the Prince of Dragons, the battle had reached an extremely tense stage.
Thor was gradually being pushed back by the dragon's overwhelming power.
However, despite that, he had not yet suffered any serious injuries.
Ran and Sol continued supporting him from a distance.
Sol soared high in the sky, while Ran moved through the depths of the ocean.
The two relentlessly attacked the dragon, using fire and water in clear coordination.
Sol's flames rained down from the heavens, while the waves of the ocean and Ran's water attacks struck the dragon from below.
Because of this...
Thor had managed to continue fighting until now without suffering any serious injuries.
But suddenly...
The dragon dodged one of Sol's fiery attacks, then looked around with extreme annoyance.
He was beginning to grow irritated.
The battle had lasted far longer than he had expected.
He was not accustomed to wasting so much time fighting three opponents he considered so weak.
His irritation grew.
Then he quickly opened his mouth.
Suddenly...
The dragon unleashed two enormous fireballs.
The first shot toward the sky.
The second raced toward the ocean.
The moment he did so, the dragon accelerated at tremendous speed, using his wings to charge directly toward Thor, who was flying away from him.
As soon as Thor saw what the dragon had done...
He immediately understood his plan.
The dragon had not launched the two fireballs with the intention of hitting Ran and Sol.
He was trying to distract them and keep them away from the battle so that he could fight Thor alone.
Thor frowned deeply.
Then...
Lightning began surrounding his body.
Thunderbolts appeared around him, and lightning energy spread throughout the area.
Then he shot forward at tremendous speed, heading straight toward the dragon.
The dragon looked at him.
Then smiled mockingly.
He said disdainfully,
"Hah... Hahaha! Do you really think you can defeat me with that, you fool?"
The moment the dragon finished speaking...
His enormous claw shot toward Thor.
At the same moment, Thor raised his lightning-filled fist and aimed it directly at the dragon's massive claw.
Then...
Thor's fist collided with the dragon's enormous claw.
BOOOOM!
A massive explosion erupted.
The sky shook from the force of the impact.
A powerful shockwave of energy spread in every direction as Thor was hurled backward by the force of the collision.
It was completely obvious who had lost that exchange.
Thor was furious, his expression tense with anger.
Meanwhile, the dragon remained almost completely stationary in the sky, barely having moved at all.
A mocking smile appeared on his face.
It was clear that the dragon was about to say something provocative to Thor, perhaps mocking him for being pushed back.
But...
Before he could say anything...
Attacks suddenly came from both the sky and the depths of the ocean.
They were attacks of fire and water.
Flames descended from the heavens, while enormous quantities of water surged upward from the ocean.
The attacks rushed toward the dragon from two different directions.
The dragon's smile disappeared.
He looked extremely annoyed.
He realized that Ran and Sol had already dealt with the attacks he had launched at them...
And had returned to the battle once again.
The dragon said irritably as he dodged the successive attacks:
"I need to get rid of these pests first!"
But...
Before he could finish speaking...
He suddenly sensed danger.
His eyes widened slightly.
Then he felt something approaching from behind.
The dragon did not hesitate.
He spread his wings rapidly and made a swift maneuver through the sky.
Then he performed a quick flip to evade the attack.
At the same moment, he looked behind him to see what had attacked him.
And there...
Three golden arrows appeared before his eyes.
They were the ones that had attacked him.
The dragon's expression changed for a moment.
Before he could shout angrily or even understand what was happening...
He sensed danger once again.
Suddenly...
The three arrows changed direction.
The golden arrows shot toward him at incredible speed.
The dragon raised his wings.
But before he could evade them a second time, he sensed another danger approaching from a different direction.
This time...
The danger was coming from above.
The dragon quickly looked toward the sky.
There...
He saw two more golden arrows in the air, resembling the three arrows that had come before them.
His eyes widened.
He was now surrounded from multiple directions.
The dragon desperately tried to escape the arrows attacking him from the front, as well as the arrows descending from above.
And indeed...
He managed to evade them at the very last moment.
But it wasn't over.
The arrows did not stop.
Instead...
They began chasing him.
The dragon quickly turned and attempted to change direction.
But the golden arrows remained behind him, moving at tremendous speed as they pursued him through the sky.
At that moment...
Thor looked at the arrows.
Then quickly understood where they had come from.
He did not need much time to realize that Heimdall had fired them.
At the same time, Ran and Sol understood it as well.
Heimdall had sent them assistance from Asgard.
The three of them realized that the dragon had become distracted by the arrows.
He was constantly trying to evade them instead of focusing entirely on the battle.
Thor looked at the dragon.
Then at the arrows pursuing him.
And he quickly realized that this might be an opportunity that would not come again.
The dragon was now occupied with escaping the arrows.
He could no longer focus on all three of them at the same time.
Therefore...
Thor, Ran, and Sol decided to take advantage of the situation immediately, before the dragon found a way to get rid of the arrows.
They had to move now.
They had finally been given a real opportunity to turn the tide of the battle.
