Ol and Yord thought about Nott's plan for a while.
Silence fell between them as each of them tried to imagine the possible consequences of this plan.
After a few moments...
Ol nodded in agreement.
Then he said:
"The plan is good."
He paused for a moment before adding in a serious tone:
"But we have to be careful. We don't know who these rumors will attract, and we don't know how powerful the person protecting the palace in that city is."
Nott looked at him with interest, while Yord also nodded.
Then she said:
"Ol is right."
She sighed softly before continuing:
"We have to be careful with this. We don't want to attract terrifying powers to this place and have them destroy our plans before they even begin."
Nott nodded in agreement.
Then he said confidently:
"Don't worry about that."
He smiled faintly before continuing:
"Most of the great powers on the continent are currently participating in the war, and there aren't many of them in the continent of Mira."
As soon as he finished speaking...
He immediately began carrying out his plan.
He raised his hand in front of him.
Suddenly...
Thousands of shadows erupted from his palm.
The shadows spread in every direction at incredible speed, piercing through the rocks above them before rising to the surface of the continent of Mira.
As soon as they reached the surface...
They began to change their forms.
Some of the shadows transformed into humans.
Others transformed into elves.
While other shadows took on forms resembling various races of the continent, making them nearly impossible to distinguish from real people at first glance.
Then...
They all dispersed throughout the continent of Mira.
The shadows began wandering through cities and villages, blending in with the inhabitants and spreading the same piece of information everywhere.
However...
Nott focused particularly on the Elven Kingdom.
He knew very well that the elves were the traditional enemies of the Dark Elves.
And if those rumors reached them...
They would not simply sit back and do nothing.
Instead, they would immediately begin taking action to discover the truth.
And so...
The rumors began spreading at an unprecedented speed.
Everyone was talking about one thing.
The Dark Elves possessed a seed capable of growing into a Sacred Tree.
The news spread from one city to another and from one village to another, gradually attracting the attention of more and more people.
As for Nott...
He simply stood where he was, quietly watching the beginning of his plan unfold.
Meanwhile...
On the island where the Emperor of Humanity had been trapped alongside ten knights and his Guard Captain...
The situation was getting worse with every passing moment.
Monsters surrounded them from every direction.
There was no longer any clear path of escape.
The Emperor looked at the monsters slowly closing in on them.
Then he thought to himself with deep anger:
"If only I had kept my son here... instead of sending him to the continent of Mira to ensure the safety of the Empire."
Regret was clear in his eyes.
If his son had been with him now, perhaps the balance of the situation would have been different.
But there was no time left for regret.
The Emperor heard his Guard Captain ask with clear concern:
"What will you do now, Your Majesty?"
The Emperor remained silent for a moment.
His eyes watched the monsters as they began charging toward them.
Then he thought quickly.
Suddenly...
He spoke in a firm voice:
"You won't do anything..."
Then he raised his head and continued:
"I will."
As soon as he finished speaking...
Enormous flames erupted from his body.
Fire raged around him, completely engulfing his body.
The flames rose higher and higher until they completely covered him.
Then...
His body began to transform.
His size rapidly increased.
Enormous fiery wings spread from his back.
And within moments...
The Emperor transformed into a gigantic phoenix, its body radiating destructive flames.
The Guard Captain and the knights looked at the transformation in awe.
They thought the Emperor was preparing to break through the monsters' encirclement and save them all.
But...
In the very next moment...
Their eyes widened in shock.
Instead of attacking the monsters...
The phoenix violently flapped its wings.
Then it shot into the sky at incredible speed.
And after that...
It flew away from them without even looking back.
The Guard Captain stared at the sky in disbelief.
Then he muttered, his voice trembling from shock:
"He... He ran away..."
Silence fell for several moments.
None of the knights could utter a single word.
They continued staring at the sky while the monsters kept advancing toward them from every direction.
As for the Emperor...
He had already flown far away, leaving his Guard Captain and knights behind to face their unknown fate.
