Chapter 352 - Chapter 739: Jarvis Appears!

A shrill alarm rang out. The crowd that had just witnessed Axel and the others fighting hesitated briefly, then quickly left the area.

In their eyes, so what if someone stepped in to help?

Could they really defeat this mechanical city?

A vast swarm of Magnemite appeared in the sky, almost blotting out the daylight and casting the entire street into shadow.

The Klinklang that made up the surrounding buildings also detached one after another, surging toward Axel and Volcanion like a flood of steel.

Volcanion's expression changed instantly, ["Danger!"]

["Axel, take us underground, hurry and dig! Let's avoid this wave of attacks first."]

["There are too many Pokemon. If they attack together, even I won't be able to handle it."]

The princess's face turned deathly pale. Looking at the Magnemite army pressing down like dark clouds, and the Klinklang swarms breaking off from the buildings and rumbling in like a steel tide, her voice trembled with extreme fear.

"It's over, you need to run."

"This is Jarvis's 'Steel Torrent' defense system."

"These Pokemon have all been enhanced by energy signals. They don't feel pain, they don't retreat, they only execute destruction commands."

"Their power is linked and stacked together. The electromagnetic waves and gear attacks will form a devastating magnetic storm. We'll be completely overwhelmed. No one has ever been able to face this army head-on."

Her tone was filled with despair, as if she could already see them being crushed under merciless steel.

Facing this suffocating siege, Axel didn't show much reaction. He simply patted Archaludon's armor lightly, signaling it to stay calm.

"No pain, no retreat? Sounds impressive, but…"

"In this state, their mental strength is even weaker than usual."

Before Axel even finished speaking, a Luxury Ball had already opened in his hand.

"Gardevoir!"

An elegant, breathtaking figure appeared quietly along with a soft, ethereal cry.

Gardevoir's skirt fluttered gently. Her clear eyes, like the deepest starry sky, suddenly lit up with a brilliance that stirred the soul.

An invisible yet vast psychic force spread out from her as the center, forming a perfect ring like gentle moonlight, sweeping across the entire street in an instant.

Buzz!

Time itself seemed to freeze at that moment.

The Magnemite army, pressing down like dark clouds and crackling with electricity, suddenly stiffened. The restless electric sparks on their bodies dimmed at a visible speed.

The Klinklang swarm, like a steel tide, also came to a sudden halt. Their clanking gears seemed to lock up instantly, stopping abruptly in place.

The gears that formed their bodies trembled slightly, but they could no longer roll forward even an inch.

Madness, slaughter… All commands being executed were completely overridden by a force that was even more dominant, yet strangely gentle.

Gardevoir floated in midair, her long hair moving without wind. She slowly raised her hands, as if embracing the entire mechanical army.

Under the effect of telepathy, all the violent emotions of the Magnemite and Klinklang were instantly soothed. They hovered in the air, quietly gazing at Gardevoir.

In just an instant, Gardevoir dismantled Jarvis's mechanical army with psychic power.

The princess's terrified expression froze completely on her face. Her lips parted slightly as she stared at this world-shattering scene, her mind almost ceasing to function.

Even the steam Volcanion had just released seemed to hang suspended in midair. His huge eyes widened to the limit, filled with disbelief.

He knew Axel was strong, but this casual control over an entire army went beyond anything short of a miracle.

Looking at the stunned human and Pokemon, Axel grinned and gave the princess a slight nod.

"Now you know what a top-tier carry is, right?"

"I… I know now," The princess looked at Axel in disbelief, like a student suddenly called on in class, able to do nothing but nod obediently.

"Then take us to find Jarvis. I promised Volcanion I'd help him take Magearna back."

"O-Okay!"

"Looking for me? No need," At that moment, a gloomy voice suddenly rang out.

Axel looked up. An old man with white hair and beard was riding something like a hovering balance device, looking down at him from above.

"You're Jarvis?", Axel asked with some curiosity, wondering why this guy dared to show himself here. Could it be he still had some other trump card?

"I am Jarvis!"

Jarvis looked at Axel expressionlessly, seemingly unconcerned about the fact that the Klinklang and Magnemite army had been controlled.

"I don't know how you did it, but I advise you not to meddle in the affairs of our Azoth Kingdom, unless you want to die here."

"However, when you leave, you must leave this Volcanion behind. He is a wanted Pokemon in our kingdom."

"And… Princess, this farce should come to an end. His Highness the Prince is still waiting for you in the castle. It's time to return and reunite."

Upon seeing Jarvis, the princess subconsciously stepped back. But thinking of Axel's strength, she gathered her courage and stood behind him.

"I'm not going with you. I'm going to save this country and make my brother realize he's wrong."

"Then I'll have to trouble the princess to suffer a bit," Jarvis's expression darkened, his tone making no attempt to hide his displeasure, nor his complete disregard for Axel.

As the true ruler of Azoth, Jarvis had tested the strength of his army countless times.

So what if the Magnemite and Klinklang were controlled?

That was only the weakest legion under his command.

The Mega Evolution army, and this city itself, were his true trump cards.

The flying device beneath Jarvis's feet shot upward, and at the same time, he issued commands in quick succession.

"Magearna, control this kingdom and turn it into a war machine!"

"And His Highness the Prince, release the Mega Evolution army. Let these foreign intruders, bang!"

Before Jarvis could finish speaking, countless steel structures suddenly spread out from his flying device, forming a shield-like giant egg. The two wings slammed together, sealing him tightly inside.

Immediately after, Jarvis saw a Pokemon he had never seen before appear behind Axel, streaking toward him at high speed with endless red light.

A trace of shock flashed in his eyes as he finally understood what Axel's earlier question meant.

Axel's Pokemon was too fast.

If not for the automatic defense system, he probably wouldn't have even had time to react before that Pokemon got close.

Along with that streak of red light came Axel's voice, laced with amusement.

"You want to use a war machine against me?"

"That's easy enough, but there's one prerequisite…"

"You need to live long enough to get to that point."
