"Argh!"
Su Yu let out a suppressed roar, mustering his last shred of will to control the Susanoo.
The crimson arm abruptly rose, fist clenched, swinging fiercely to meet the charging Titan Giant Ape!
The Titan Giant Ape's eyes blazed with ferocity, its massive fist gathering dense earthy-yellow Soul Power as it slammed ruthlessly toward the Susanoo!
"Boom—!!!"
The two fists collided once more with earth-shaking force, creating a deafening explosion that reverberated through the mountains and forests.
Violent energy shockwaves radiated outward, sending gravel flying and snapping surrounding trees at their trunks.
Large cracks appeared across the Susanoo, spreading at an alarming rate throughout its entire form. The Tengu Armor shattered piece by piece, dissolving into a shower of crimson light particles.
Su Yu grunted, his body as if struck by tremendous force, suddenly spurting a mouthful of fresh blood.
The Titan Giant Ape was also forced back three steps by the final impact, looking down at its slightly numb fist.
Grabbing Xiao Wu from nearby, it let out a deep roar before turning and running deep into the Star Dou Great Forest, its massive form gradually disappearing into the dense woods.
With the Titan Giant Ape's departure, the suffocating gravitational pressure instantly dissipated into the air.
"Brother Husband!"
Ning Rongrong could no longer hold back, scrambling desperately toward Su Yu while Zhu Zhuqing and Xue Na followed closely behind, their faces filled with anxiety.
Ning Rongrong threw herself beside Su Yu, watching the blood tears still continuously streaming from the corners of his eyes. Her heart felt as if a piece had been carved out, trembling with fear as she sobbed:
"Brother Husband! Wake up! Don't scare Rongrong! Brother Husband!"
She carefully reached out, wanting to touch Su Yu's cheek but afraid of hurting him.
Her hand trembled in mid-air, tears falling like broken pearls, each drop striking Su Yu's robe and spreading into dark wet stains.
Xue Na supported the nearly collapsing Ning Rongrong, her small hand tightly clutching Su Yu's sleeve, vision blurred by tears:
"Sister Rongrong, brother will definitely be fine, definitely fine..."
Just then, Su Yu coughed, and Zhu Zhuqing reacted instantly, carefully helping him sit up.
Su Yu raised his hand to gently press between his eyebrows, feeling only buzzing in his head and waves of dizziness.
This time he had really overdone it. It was his first time exhausting his ocular power to this extent, and he had nearly failed to recover.
He slowly opened his eyes, his vision still somewhat blurry, the blood tears at the corners of his eyes already dried.
Before he could speak, Ning Rongrong pounced into his embrace as if grabbing a lifeline.
Her small arms tightly wrapped around his neck, all the accumulated fear and regret erupting completely as she burst into loud sobs:
"Wah... Brother Husband... you're bad... you scared Rongrong... Rongrong... Rongrong thought... thought she would never see you again..."
Her crying carried deep grievance and lingering fear, her shoulders shaking with each sob, hot tears soaking through Su Yu's robes.
Su Yu coughed slightly from her tight embrace but didn't push her away. Instead, he raised his hand to gently pat her back, his voice hoarse yet tender:
"I'm sorry... Rongrong, for making you worry... I'm fine, truly fine... I just used too much mental energy at once and couldn't recover immediately!"
Ning Rongrong bit Su Yu's shoulder with such force it seemed she wanted to tear off a piece of flesh.
Su Yu gently patted her back without resisting. The little girl's strength was like a kitten's—not painful at all!
After biting for a while, her grip gradually loosened. She just lay against his shoulder, her body still trembling with sobs.
"Alright, alright, it was my fault," Su Yu's voice softened further, carrying a coaxing tone. "I just wanted to test the limits of that technique earlier. I didn't expect to go overboard and make you all worry."
"If I used Wood Release, even the Titan Giant Ape wouldn't be my match. Don't cry anymore, don't cry!"
Only then did Ning Rongrong lift her head reluctantly, her eyes swollen and red like a rabbit's. With a thick nasal tone, she snorted, "Who... who's crying..."
Though her words were defiant, her hands still clung tightly to his waist as if afraid he would disappear if she let go.
Zhu Zhuqing watched from nearby, reaching out to wipe the dried blood-tears from Su Yu's cheek. "Stop talking for now. You've expended too much energy. Let's find a place to rest."
Xue Na quickly nodded and trotted to Su Yu's other side, wanting to support him. "Brother, let me help you."
Su Yu smiled and nodded, slowly sitting on a nearby rock with their assistance.
Ning Rongrong's gaze fell on the damp patch on Su Yu's shoulder where her saliva had soaked through his clothes. Her cheeks warmed slightly, and she inwardly scolded herself for losing control and biting Brother Husband so fiercely.
Kneeling beside Su Yu, she instinctively reached to unbutton his clothes, wanting to check if she had broken the skin.
Noticing this, Su Yu quickly pressed his hand over hers, whispering awkwardly, "Rongrong! With so many people here, it's not proper..."
Ning Rongrong's face flushed, but she stubbornly pushed aside his protective hand. "I bit so hard earlier, it must have broken the skin. I need to see!"
Ignoring his mild resistance, she carefully unbuttoned the front of his garment.
As the clothes parted, the contours of Su Yu's upper body were gradually revealed—
His physique wasn't exaggeratedly burly but displayed the symmetry and strength honed through years of training.
Eight distinct abdominal muscles stood out like finely carved jade, their lines smooth and firm;
His chest muscles were full but not bulky, perfectly filling the fabric;
The muscles on his arms flowed with clean definition—though not exaggeratedly knotted like hills, every inch radiated compact strength.
Xue Na and Zhu Zhuqing blushed as they observed Su Yu's abdominal and chest muscles.
Ning Rongrong, however, focused solely on his shoulder, where a ring of tooth marks remained. Deeper bites had drawn traces of blood.
Her eyes reddened again at the sight. She lightly touched the marks with her finger, her voice barely a whisper, "Brother Husband, does it hurt? It's bleeding..."
Seeing her like this, Su Yu raised a hand to ruffle her hair and chuckled, "It just looks like it's bleeding. It's really nothing—like a kitten's scratch. It doesn't hurt."
Just then, a rustling sound emerged from a nearby bush, as if something was pushing through the foliage.
Xue Na and Zhu Zhuqing reacted with lightning speed, almost simultaneously rising to shield Su Yu and Ning Rongrong.
Both wore expressions of high alert, their eyes locked intently on the rustling bushes as every muscle in their bodies tensed.
Moments later, a somewhat disheveled figure stumbled out from the shrubbery—it was Zhao Wuji.
