Chapter 201: The Furious Tang Hao
"Grandmaster, aren't you going to explain yourself?"
Luo Ling pressed on, speaking as if something had suddenly come to mind. He said mockingly, "Oh, right, I just remembered. The two saints of the Primordial God Sect — one called the Demon Falcon and the other the Giant Bear — both are Spirit Saints."
"Your Shrek Academy teachers, their martial spirits seem familiar. One has the Vigorous Vajra Bear, and the other the Four-Eyed Owl. Both Spirit Saints as well!"
By now, everyone understood. Weren't the Demon Falcon and Giant Bear none other than Flender and Zhao Wuji?
Yu Xiaogang stood there, his soul shattered, completely at a loss for words.
As everything became exposed, Flender and Zhao Wuji exchanged glances, instantly unleashing their martial spirits.
In a flash, Flender grabbed Yu Xiaogang and darted toward the outside.
"You think you can just walk away after coming into the Spirit Hall?" Ghost Douluo sneered coldly, summoning his martial spirit and chasing after them.
Evil Spirit Masters were taboo. Once discovered, the Spirit Hall would annihilate them without hesitation.
Other powers remained still; they were content to watch, as Spirit Hall was asserting its authority. None wished to interfere and invite trouble.
Tang Hao's affair was temporarily forgotten.
Watching Yu Xiaogang flee, Tang Hao gritted his teeth, regretting more than ever entrusting Tang San to him.
He wished he could chase after Yu Xiaogang and smash him into pulp.
It was bad enough that Yu Xiaogang dabbled in a heretic sect, but he even dragged Tang San into it!
If they were branded as Evil Spirit Masters, the entire world of spirit masters would reject them.
At that moment, Tang San, having recovered somewhat, spoke weakly to Tang Hao:
"Father, please, save my teacher!"
Tang Hao froze for a moment, frowning. "Yu Xiaogang is tied to a heretical sect, and you still want me to save him?!"
"Father, I can explain everything about the Primordial God Sect later. But right now, please help save my teacher!"
Tang San's tone was firm. Tang Hao's expression grew increasingly strange.
It seemed this Primordial God Sect was not as simple as it appeared.
Gaining power through a sacrificial ritual — Tang Hao had never believed such a thing, but now, doubt crept into his mind.
He had examined Tang San's body. There were none of the symptoms of muddied spirit power caused by devouring flesh and blood.
To break through to Spirit King in such a short time and yet remain pure... this ritual might indeed be real.
Thinking of this, Tang Hao's eyes grew deep. The spirit rings around his feet shone as he hurled his Haotian Hammer straight toward Ghost Douluo, who was chasing ahead.
Ghost Douluo instantly sensed the danger. Turning back, he saw the Haotian Hammer flying at him.
His expression darkened, and he narrowly dodged the strike.
The hammer carved a sharp arc through the air before returning to Tang Hao's hand.
"Tang Hao! You dare to harbor an Evil Spirit Master!" Ghost Douluo roared in fury.
"Tang San is Yu Xiaogang's disciple — they are all the same!" Chrysanthemum Douluo flew over, scowling.
By now, Flender and Zhao Wuji had disappeared with Yu Xiaogang. Only Tang Hao and Tang San remained at the scene.
Hearing Chrysanthemum Douluo's words, Tang Hao's face turned grim. Things had escalated beyond explanation. His only option now was to flee with Tang San.
He glanced coldly at Luo Ling, standing behind the Spirit Hall's titled Douluos. The killing intent in his eyes was almost tangible.
Just moments ago, Luo Ling's meddling had distracted him so much that he had almost forgotten — Luo Ling had crippled Tang San's Haotian Hammer.
But with Luo Ling hiding behind others, Tang Hao would find it hard to strike while protecting Tang San.
"You little bastard! Ruining Xiao San's spirit won't end so easily!"
Tang Hao spat the words and seized Tang San, preparing to escape.
Ghost Douluo and five other Titled Douluos swiftly surrounded him, blocking his path.
"Six Titled Douluos. Truly, the heritage of Spirit Hall is remarkable. But even six of you — so what? Behold, this is the true Haotian form!"
Tang Hao's voice was cold as his gaze shifted toward the Pope's Palace.
His seventh spirit ring shone. Behind him, the enormous dark-golden Haotian Hammer expanded dramatically. Black light surged as the hammer grew, transforming into a massive weapon over a hundred meters long.
"The Pope's Palace! Hah, what a grand palace!" Tang Hao laughed madly, while the Titled Douluos below looked grim.
Under their horrified gazes, the giant hammer descended — not on the six Douluos, but on the Pope's Palace itself.
The six Douluos turned pale with shock. The Pope's Palace symbolized the Pope's authority. Bibi Dong's face darkened as she hurriedly activated her martial spirit and rushed skyward.
Luo Ling watched calmly. In the original story, Tang Hao had threatened the Pope's Palace to secure their escape.
He chose not to interfere. Tang Hao and Tang San could not die yet; he still needed them to spread the faith of the Primordial God.
Yu Xiaogang too — although disgraced, he remained useful.
It would be his duty to bring the Blood Demon Ritual to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
With Tang San and Tang Hao preaching in the Clear Sky Sect, and Yu Xiaogang infiltrating the Blue Lightning Clan, both great clans would soon supply faith for Luo Ling. The divine trial of the Primordial God was nearing completion.
The giant hammer crashed down. Though Bibi Dong and the others shattered it forcefully, Tang Hao coughed up blood.
Even against Bibi Dong alone, victory wasn't certain — but now there were seven Titled Douluos opposing him.
"Bibi Dong! You'll pay for this! One day I'll reclaim everything! And you— you little demon!" Tang Hao's eyes fixed on Luo Ling.
Luo Ling met his gaze without fear, even smiling faintly.
He moved his lips soundlessly, and at the same time, a surge of life energy spread from his right leg.
Tang Hao's eyes widened instantly. That aura — it was unmistakable — the power of the hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor right leg bone!
He could clearly read Luo Ling's silent lips.
"Your wife was quite something."
Those were the same words once spoken by the one who had stolen his wife's seed and spirit bone.
"Aaaaah!" Tang Hao's roar tore the air. The one who crippled his son was the same one who had stolen from his wife!
Overcome with impotent rage, Tang Hao finally retreated with Tang San, seething with fury and unwillingness.
He could have risked everything to kill Luo Ling, but then he would lose his only chance to escape. Spirit Hall would not be fooled again, and bringing Tang San out alive would be impossible.
"Luo Ling! Just wait! I'll kill you!" Tang Hao's roar echoed through the air as he vanished from sight, leaving behind a shaken audience.
Luo Ling watched them go, unbothered. With his current strength, killing Tang Hao might still be difficult, but he feared him not in the slightest.
