Chapter 225: Why Is She the Real One and I'm the Fake? I Am the True Silver Dragon King!
"Jiang Chen?"
A towering man—over two meters tall, his simple clothes stretched tight by hard muscle—paused and stared at him. His chiseled face looked carved from stone, and his bulging eyes gleamed with killing intent.
"It's you," he growled. "You dare show your face before me? Do you have a death wish?"
The oppressive aura made everyone present tense.
Members of the Yuanen Clan immediately bowed. "Greetings, Ancestor!"
The newcomer was none other than the Titan Giant Ape—Er Ming, the legendary first ancestor of the Yuanen Clan!
Er Ming's killing intent was palpable, but Jiang Chen seemed utterly unfazed. "This isn't the place to talk."
"Hmph."
With a cold snort, the Titan Giant Ape grabbed him and vanished before anyone could react.
The clan's Titled Douluo exchanged nervous glances. "He won't… kill him, right?"
From afar, Na'er bit her lip as she realized she had been left behind. She stomped a foot in frustration—then summoned her Silvery Dragon God Spear, tore a crack through space, and followed.
They emerged into a small, self-contained world—a lush, tranquil dimension shimmering with spiritual light.
Jiang Chen whistled softly. "Impressive. You've carved out a pocket world without any God Realm fragments. Trying to build a second Myriad Beast Platform, are you?"
He smirked. "Seems that someone left you quite a few gifts. Using them like this… aren't you afraid the Soul Beast Emperor will punish you?"
The Titan Giant Ape's eyes darkened. "Not every soul beast wishes to become a spirit soul. You don't represent all of us. You've hidden away long enough, and now you dare show your face? You really are seeking death!"
Without warning, his enormous hand swept downward, the sky collapsing into a mountain-sized shadow. The pressure of absolute power locked onto Jiang Chen; no one in the world could have dodged.
But Jiang Chen simply sighed and lifted one hand. From his palm gleamed a tiny white scale.
The Titan Giant Ape froze mid-swing, his expression morphing from rage to disbelief.
"She's… awakened?"
The Queen of Soul Beasts—the Silver Dragon King!
Of course he recognized that aura. Back when he and his brother Da Ming had guarded the Dragon Valley, they had never been allowed near her or Ditian's inner circle. Still, through their diluted dragon blood, they'd always felt her presence—a crushing, divine pressure above all beasts.
And later, after Tang San's ascension, new knowledge from the Divine Realm had deepened their understanding. Even if he'd never seen her, her power was unmistakable.
Jiang Chen smiled faintly. "So can we talk now? Or did you forget who helped you fulfill your little dream? What, having regrets already?"
The Titan Giant Ape's jaw tightened. His heart churned with conflict. He knew Jiang Chen had leverage—his darkest secret lay in this man's hands. Unless he killed Jiang Chen in an instant (which he couldn't), exposure meant certain death.
Jiang Chen smirked knowingly.
He had existed across three lives. In his earliest time on this world, he'd taken full advantage of his rebirth. A handsome transmigrator amidst beautiful soul beasts—why on earth wouldn't he indulge a little?
Especially once he'd become a soul beast himself. Beastly instincts had their… priorities.
To get under Tang San's skin, he had captured Xiao Wu three times—first to "teach" her, second for revenge, and the third… he'd tossed her straight into a pleasure house.
It had been the Titan Giant Ape—Er Ming—who rescued her, only to be misled and manipulated by Jiang Chen in the process.
That debt had haunted him for over twenty thousand years.
Er Ming's fists clenched. He wanted nothing more than to crush this man where he stood—but that fury had nowhere to go.
"You better pray you never fall into my hands," he snarled.
Without another word, he turned and dragged Jiang Chen to a mist-shrouded lake.
"Big brother," he called toward the water, "I brought him."
The lake rippled, glowing with blue-green light. A massive head rose slowly from its depths—a bovine face, but leaner and lined with scales. The horns atop it curved like those of a dragon.
The creature's entire body shimmered cyan-blue, countless delicate scales glinting beneath the surface. As it rose fully from the lake, the aura of an ancient dragon radiated outward, coloring everything in azure light.
Then, in a flash of brilliance, the form shrank into a tall, dignified man. His eyes were calm and deep as the sea, his mere presence merging seamlessly with the air around him.
The Sky Azure Bull Python.
No—ever since his ascension, he had become something greater:
The Sky Azure Dragon.
Da Ming.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it?"
While Er Ming's hostility had cooled to guarded anger, Da Ming's killing intent struck like thunder—sharp and absolute.
"You ruined my brother's plans," he growled, "defiled Sister Xiao Wu, and twisted the future of our kind. Tell me, how should I kill you?"
As Da Ming advanced, Er Ming quickly stepped between them.
"Brother, don't!"
"Hm?"
Before Da Ming could ask why, the air split open in a flash of silver light. Na'er descended from the sky, spear in hand.
"What's going on here?" she demanded, feeling the heavy killing intent surrounding them.
She landed between Jiang Chen and the two ancient beasts, raising her weapon defensively.
"What do you think you're doing to him?"
The moment Da Ming and Er Ming looked at her, their expressions changed entirely.
Though her aura was far weaker than theirs, the bloodline within her made their very souls tremble.
Especially Da Ming—whose dragon heritage resonated violently.
His killing intent dissipated in an instant. He couldn't summon even a trace of hostility.
It felt as if, with a mere thought, this girl could extinguish him completely.
And there was only one being in existence who could wield such bloodline dominance—
The Silver Dragon King.
Da Ming dropped to one knee, gaze fixed on the silver spear in her hands.
Finally, he bowed deeply.
"The Sky Azure Dragon greets the Dragon Lord."
Na'er froze. "Huh? Dragon Lord? Me?"
Yet as she glanced at the shimmering spear—the Dragon God's Pillar—realization dawned. Within her flowed the inheritance and memories of the entire dragon race below the Dragon God himself.
Of course.
She, too, was the Silver Dragon King.
Why should Gu Yue claim to be the original?
If that woman ever appeared and tried to reclaim her other half—she'd show her who truly ruled.
Gripping the spear tightly, Na'er's eyes gleamed with renewed confidence.
"I, Na'er," she whispered proudly, "am the true Silver Dragon King!"
