Chapter 178: The Three-Person Game
At the top floor of the Seven Treasure Restaurant, the largest private room was filled with soft morning light.
In front of the vast floor-to-ceiling windows stood a long rectangular dining table.
A pristine white tablecloth covered it, and on top lay an array of exquisite delicacies.
Through the clear windows, one could see the sunlit expanse of Shrek City below—its streets bustling with life, carriages flowing, and crowds weaving endlessly through the lively avenues.
Far in the distance stood the grand central plaza of Shrek, dominated by seven towering statues—the "Seven Shrek Monsters." In the morning glow, the golden light wrapped around their figures, solemn and resplendent. Many within the city knelt before them in prayer, faces filled with reverence.
At the table, Ye Chen sat at the center seat.
Compared to their last meal together—awkward and casual—today's atmosphere was undeniably charged with intimacy.
Ma Xiaotao sat to his left, close enough for their shoulders to brush.
She was dressed in a tight black dress, meticulously tailored to accentuate her curves—full chest, slender waist, and shapely hips. The skirt was cut scandalously short, barely covering her as she crossed her legs.
Her legs, encased in glossy black stockings, gleamed under the light, their clean lines accentuating her seductive curves. She had chosen thick 60-denier tights this time—still alluring, though a touch more dignified.
On her feet, black stilettos swayed lightly, the sharp tips dangling from her toes as she teasingly brushed her heel against Ye Chen's calf.
She had even taken the time to apply a touch of makeup during her outfit change.
Her lips, glossed with a faint crimson sheen, looked especially inviting.
To Ye Chen's right sat Ling Luochen.
She wore a flowing ice-blue gown, her long hair coiled elegantly to reveal her pale neck. Her sitting posture was far more proper than Ma Xiaotao's, legs demurely together—but the slit in her gown ran dangerously high, revealing a long, flawless leg wrapped in white lace suspenders.
Clearly, she knew exactly what Ye Chen liked.
And, perhaps more importantly, she refused to lose to Ma Xiaotao.
If Ma Xiaotao wore black silk, she would wear white.
Let's see which one Ye Chen preferred more.
Between them, Ye Chen sat leisurely, his hands resting on each of their thighs—warm to the left, cool to the right.
His left palm met soft heat, smooth and pliant like a silk cushion.
His right felt cool and sleek, a pleasant contrast of chill and elasticity.
He rather enjoyed both.
"Come on, Xiao Chen, open your mouth~"
Ma Xiaotao peeled a shrimp for him, dipped it in sauce, and brought it to his lips.
While feeding him, she leaned close, gave Ling Luochen a deliberately smug glance, then pressed a kiss against Ye Chen's cheek, leaving behind a faint lipstick mark.
Her movements were natural, confident—full of affection.
"Mm, thank you, Xiao Tao-jie~" Ye Chen smiled helplessly.
"Here, Xiao Chen, have some soup~"
Ling Luochen scooped a spoonful of fragrant broth, tested the temperature with her own lips, then fed it to him carefully.
He sipped it contentedly. "Thanks, Luochen-jie~"
The taste was soft and mellow… carrying, perhaps, a trace of her own sweetness.
"This eating and drinking is boring!" Ma Xiaotao's eyes sparkled mischievously as she looked at the pair's shy tension. "Let's play a game!"
"A game?" Ye Chen and Ling Luochen looked up.
"Yeah!" Ma Xiaotao clapped. "Something simple—guess which hand holds the item! If you guess wrong, you drink. Deal?"
"Alright, but I don't trust you with that. Let me set it up," Ye Chen said casually.
He raised his hand, and a hundred small ice spheres appeared on the table.
In full view of the two women, he placed a single Seed of Life into one of the spheres, sealed it, then mixed them all up, wrapping the rest in spiritual energy to obscure any detection.
"There are a hundred ice spheres," Ye Chen said. "One of them contains a Life Essence Pill that grants youth and beauty. Each of you gets one chance to pick. Guess right, and it's yours. Guess wrong, you drink. How about it?"
"Deal!" Ma Xiaotao said instantly.
"No problem," Ling Luochen agreed eagerly.
Ye Chen providing the prize while they played—it seemed only fair.
Besides, a Beautifying Pill was irresistible. Even though both women were youthful and radiant already, every girl loved anything that promised even more beauty.
"I'll go first!" Ma Xiaotao declared, cracking one sphere open.
Empty.
"Ah, what the—" She sighed and took a sip of wine.
"Hmph, my turn! I was watching closely; it must be this one!" Ling Luochen said proudly, breaking another.
Still empty.
"No way! I swear I—" Ling Luochen blinked, stunned.
"Guess your eyes fooled you, Luochen-jie. Have a drink," Ye Chen said cheerfully, pouring her a glass.
The wine was soul master-grade—impossible to flush quickly with soul power. Even with their strong constitutions, both women would feel the alcohol soon enough.
Exactly as Ye Chen intended. Alcohol had its own unique power of persuasion.
"Again!"
"Crack—again!"
"I won't lose this time!"
One guess after another, glasses piling up.
Soon, both Ma Xiaotao and Ling Luochen had downed over thirty drinks, giggling and flushed.
Finally, with a sharp crack, Ling Luochen shattered a sphere—and out rolled a glimmering crystal pill.
"Hehe, found it! My Beauty Pill!"
She laughed in triumph, holding the treasure up and shamelessly flaunting it before Ma Xiaotao.
"Ugh! Damn it, I was just about to pick that one!" Ma Xiaotao groaned in mock regret.
Then, without warning, she swung her long leg over Ye Chen and pushed him down onto the soft carpet. Her black silk-covered foot pressed playfully against his face.
"Uh… Xiao Tao-jie, are you seriously this upset over losing?" Ye Chen blinked, caught off guard.
"Hmph, who said I'm upset? I just think playing with you is better than playing games."
Her playful voice dripped with mischief as her toes deftly popped open the top buttons of his shirt.
"Wait—Luochen-jie's still here! Should we really be saying this…?" Ye Chen stammered.
"What's wrong? She can join us. Come on, Luochen!" Ma Xiaotao beckoned invitingly.
"Hmph… you two go ahead. Why are you dragging me into this…" Ling Luochen muttered, face burning, yet she still slipped off her shoes and stepped forward.
"Consider it a lesson—watch closely," Ma Xiaotao teased, giving her a sidelong smirk before continuing.
…
Half an hour later.
Ling Luochen was utterly overwhelmed.
…
An hour later.
Ling Luochen joined in.
…
Two hours later.
Unable to endure Ma Xiaotao's relentless teasing, Ling Luochen finally fled—flustered and speechless.
