Chapter 102 – 119. He Is My Master
"Taming a tiger to court disaster?" Huo Yuhao scoffed. "Those rats won't escape the palm of my hand. Letting them die easily would actually be too much mercy."
Huo Yuhao's eyes were filled with disgust toward the Clear Sky Sect. Especially when he recalled what he had experienced there in his previous life — all the vile things that had happened to him — his desire to erase that filthy sect from its roots only deepened.
Everyone knew what kind of farce that director Tang had put on in Love Valley. Relying on divine power to control life and death at will, he killed his own daughter Wang Dong'er right before Huo Yuhao's eyes — and yet, for that, the two sycophants of the Clear Sky Sect placed all the blame on Huo Yuhao, treating him with endless hostility.
If Huo Yuhao hadn't known the truth back then, he might have thought he had truly done something wrong.
But since he knew the story's script by heart, his heart was filled with fury. Your daughter is the one you sent to me. You killed her before my eyes, and then you turn around pretending to be the heartbroken father, accusing me of your crimes, saying I wronged her and must be punished for it? The hypocrisy enraged him. You acted like a whore and still wanted to build a memorial arch!
Worse, Huo Yuhao had to play along with that director's script.
The Clear Sky Sect was nothing more than the blade Tang had wielded in his previous life to manipulate him.
Those hammer-wielding Tang clan members were a disgrace — every breath they took was a sin.
Huo Yuhao had thought about ending the disgusting sect completely, but simply letting those two bootlickers die easily would be far too cheap a punishment.
He listed several key members of the Clear Sky Sect—Tang Lie, Tang Xiao, and others—and handed the list to Qian Renxue. "Keep these ones alive. Don't touch them. As for the rest, kill them as you wish. Leave a few survivors."
"Yes," Qian Renxue answered, fully understanding his intent.
"I plan to establish a sect on the Douluo Continent," Huo Yuhao said. "It's about time the world learned of its existence."
After Qian Renxue departed, a divine messenger entered. "Lord Eternal Divine King, by order of the Evil God, you are summoned to the Divine Realm's Central Hall for a meeting."
"Oh?" A faint smirk appeared on Huo Yuhao's face. In the Divine Realm, Huo Yuhao already had a spectacular show prepared.
After returning, Qian Renxue quickly conveyed Huo Yuhao's orders, and Spirit Hall executed them efficiently.
Qian Daoliu immediately began rectifying the inappropriate policies from Qian Xunji's era.
His first target was none other than the so-called "Master." Spirit Hall convened a symposium on soul master theoretical research, sternly denouncing cases of academic plagiarism and fraud, stripping certain individuals of their honors. Among the names—none other than the great "Master" himself.
Inside the Pope's Palace, Qian Daoliu began giving orders.
"Guang Ling, Qian Jun, Jiang Mo—step forward."
The three stepped out, and Qian Daoliu assigned them the mission to attack the Clear Sky Sect.
There was no need to mobilize the entire Spirit Hall against a crippled sect. With divine-grade enhancements and immortal-quality soul rings, the Worshippers' strength had grown tremendously. Guang Ling had reached level 98 as a Super Douluo, while Qian Jun and Jiang Mo were both level 97 Super Douluo.
"Yue Guan, Gui Mei—step forward," Qian Daoliu commanded.
The two bowed. "Great Worshipper, what are your orders?"
"From now on, you two will serve as the Guardian Elders of the Pope's Palace," Qian Daoliu said. "Assist the next Pope—Bibi Dong."
Both had reached level 95, the same rank they had achieved at the time of their deaths in the previous timeline.
"Then, lead a group to bring the single-attribute Four Great Clans—the Clear Sky Sect's affiliated forces—under Spirit Hall's control," Qian Daoliu ordered.
"As you command, Great Worshipper," Yue Guan and Gui Mei replied.
At the same time, Tang Tian's funeral was being held.
The entire Clear Sky Sect was draped in white mourning cloth. Representatives from other sects and forces had also gathered.
Everyone could clearly see the decay and weakness of the Clear Sky Sect.
The Battle at Sky Valley Ridge had claimed many of their strongest. Of six Title Douluo, five were dead and one was crippled. Numerous Contras and Spirit Saints had fallen beneath Tang Hao's Clear Sky Hammer.
If not for the few Title Douluo still barely supporting the sect, it could no longer be counted among the Three Great Sects.
The sect was steeped in grief and hatred. Many had lost relatives at Sky Valley Ridge, mourning their losses while cursing Tang Hao with bitter fury.
That hatred soon provoked another.
"I was right, wasn't I?" one disciple shouted angrily, his red eyes glaring at the muscular elderly man before him. "Tang Hao—an adulterer with spirit beasts, a fratricidal murderer who even killed his own father! Were it not for his filthy birth, my father would be alive, and the Clear Sky Sect wouldn't have fallen this low!"
"You dare insult my master like that?" the old man—Tai Tan—roared. He had come to attend the funeral as part of the sect's affiliated forces, only to hear the disciples hurling insults at his master. His rage exploded.
"Master?" the disciple sneered. "You still call that beast Tang Hao your master? What a loyal dog you are."
"What did you say?" Tai Tan's eyes bulged as he charged forward, ready to strike the youth.
Yang Wudi and Niu Gao quickly moved in to restrain him.
"Old ape, calm down," Niu Gao warned. "Don't forget, this is the Clear Sky Sect."
The arrogant disciple crossed his arms and said proudly, "That's right, this is the Clear Sky Sect. How dare a dog like you act wild here? You, Tai Tan—Tang Hao's dog. Don't forget, your Strength Clan are our sect's dogs too. When you meet our people, you kneel. Do you think a dog can bite its master?"
The disciple's words darkened the faces of Niu Gao, Yang Wudi, and Bai He.
In the end, the three smoothed things over, leaving Tai Tan fuming but silent.
Once they were alone, the four clan heads gathered privately. Niu Gao finally asked in puzzlement, "Old ape, why do you defend Tang Hao so damn much?"
Tai Tan replied calmly, "Since I, Tai Tan, have recognized Tang Hao as my master, I will serve only him in this life. He is my master. How could I stand by and watch him be insulted?"
The other three were stunned.
"Have you lost your mind, old ape?" Yang Wudi burst out. "That beast Tang Hao—"
"What did you say?" Tai Tan sprang up as if struck by lightning, clenching his fists. "Old goat, we're friends, so I'll make this plain. Watch your mouth. Insult my master again, and I won't hold back—I'll let my fists do the talking."
"Oh, you think you scare me?" Yang Wudi summoned his Breaking Soul Spear. "Tang Hao mated with a spirit beast and birthed a half-beast bastard. He slaughtered his own sect brothers and killed his own father. Every single thing he's done proves he's a beast. I'll call him what he is! What can you do, old ape? Want to fight me? Do you even have the strength?"
