Time skip.
Kairo could be seen yawning a bit. He too was a bit tired — keeping so many clones active was draining. On the good side, Robin had learned the technique he'd given her, and she even learned some extra techniques alongside better use of her fruit.
For example... the shadow clone.
No, she didn't make a clone herself — more like, using her Devil Fruit, she was able to create a clone of herself. Granted, while the clone was active, she couldn't do shit, since 75% of her brain power went into operating the clone.
So in theory, her clone could get captured, and she could monitor the enemy's movements — wherever in the world they were.
This fact would 100% not mean anything in the future.
Anyway, today marked one month since they started the training. Kairo was currently in his usual spot, just napping. The Straw Hat training was over, as far as he was aware.
They could have stayed longer, but Kairo had sensed the presence of someone dark coming toward the island. So unless they wanted to scrap with some OP people, they had to dip.
"Let's set sail," Luffy said, excited.
"We're going to get the biggest ship ever!" The man seemed excited about this. His sea stone cuffs were still on, and yet he didn't look tired. He had a giddy look on his face.
Zoro, meanwhile, could be seen sleeping somewhere, holding his sword — which was black... no, he didn't turn it black. While Kairo knew how to do that, Zoro was nowhere near the skill level to do that shit.
What the swordsman was doing was imbuement while he was asleep.
Nami would wave her hand around.
"Cloud-Road." As those words left her mouth, a white sea would spawn. The wind would blow on the ship's sail, and the Merry would be blasted forward.
Ussop, somewhere in the back, could be seen creating massive explosions, speeding up the Merry even more.
They were speedrunning their way to the next island.
Nico Robin was reading a book, and Chopper... well, Chopper was dead tired. He was in charge of healing basically everyone. He was drained.
POV change.
On the island, an oppressive aura could be felt.
A man could be seen — he looked rather bored.
"Damn admirals, not even knowing how to do their job." He looked like even breathing the same air as those peasants hurt him.
His cold gaze glanced over the island.
Looking around, he examined it.
"Seems like he left." The way Kairo had left the stuff on the island made it seem like they'd left weeks ago. For example... there was some rotting meat there, alongside a makeshift house that was now gathering dust. Shit really looked like they'd left a while ago.
When in reality, they'd left like an hour ago max — that was Kairo's ninja training in action: fabricating evidence.
"That direction is where Water 7 is," the man said, looking around the old house.
There, he saw some notes.
He would pick one up with a look of disgust, as if holding something a peasant touched disgusted him.
Opening it up, it seemed to be a to-do list.
The list spoke about the damage to the ship's anchor and the need for repair in Water 7. It talked about repairing the ship and so on.
The man looked at the note and smiled.
"You may have hidden your tracks, little bird... but not well enough," he said with a smile. He'd realized something was off — the house looked way too empty, as if someone was trying to cover their tracks, which was basically bait he'd fallen for.
Kairo did not expect government agents to be complete idiots, so he fed them a truth within a lie, within a lie.
Considering their arrogance, they would probably praise themselves to no end when finding that out.
The man in question now showed his wrist, where a seal could be seen.
"Gunko... open the portal to Water 7." As those words left his mouth, what seemed to be a path through the abyss appeared.
"The Lords of Lords warn you to erase the filth of the world, alongside the crew," a female voice said. The man bowed a bit — well, yeah, of course he would.
He, without hesitation, walked into the abyss.
As he did so, the letter he had left behind began glowing red.
POV change.
Kairo, currently perched on top of the sail, looked at his hand. He was holding a piece of paper... the paper burned.
"So... they came after all," he muttered to himself. He had left a trap in that small house — if the opening of an abyss portal was felt, it would signal him. And it seemed like... it happened.
So, there was more than likely a God Knight waiting for him in Water 7. He sure hoped the little bait letter found them.
He had no plans on dressing the crew differently — especially with Luffy being as hyperactive as he was. He knew they would most likely just target him.
Or, to be more precise, his human appearance... he paused a bit. No, they would target the whole crew. Those God Knights had no mercy. Hopefully, the monster trio would be strong enough to slightly hold them back — and that's only because the majority of those fuckers were sadistic bastards.
Luffy maybe... if he went Gear 5. But while Luffy was aware of his fruit's power, not fully. Kairo was slowly breastfeeding him the idea. When they got a new ship, he'd speak more about it.
They were not going to the shipyard for repairs — no.
Their target for the repair was someone else...
Cutty Flam.
As Kairo was thinking about who would build them a new boat, a wanted poster would fly down, landing on the ship.
Kairo's gaze turned toward it.
Luffy picked it up.
"Hey, Kairo, look! Your bounty increased... it's 350 million!"
Robin's brow rose. That didn't make sense — that bounty was a bit too low.
She created hands that politely took the wanted poster from Luffy and looked at it.
As she looked at it, she paused.
"Luffy... you read wrong."
"Hm?" Luffy's ears perked up.
Zoro, who was asleep, opened his eyes, and Sanji turned around. Ussop was already wondering — what could it possibly be above 350 million? 3.5 billion or something?

"3.5 billion!???" That was indeed a large amount of money... and while most were starting to realize why the fuck Kairo wanted to leave, Luffy was thinking something.
"Hey! Why is your bounty higher than mine?" He didn't seem too happy about it.
"...I'm stronger, and I pose more of a threat to the World Government."
"But I'm the Captain!" Luffy retorted. He was the captain, dammit. Kairo smiled at Luffy's childish reaction.
"You idiot, we're not that strong yet! Why do you want such a big bounty?" Ussop wasn't trying to get slimed out yet — he'd just gotten a Devil Fruit and was just getting good at it.
For fuck's sake, he found a way to make explosions come from his feet so he could fly away if a situation got too tricky.
But only for short bursts — like five seconds tops.
"...Well, if the World Government were to know the full power of your fruit, your bounty would 100% surpass mine," Kairo said softly.
Every head turned to Kairo.
"Really!?" Luffy had a big goofy smile on his face.
"Yes..." Kairo said with a smile.
"How can rubber power make him more valuable than the guy who knows the secrets of the World Government?" Sanji asked, to which Kairo replied,
"I told you that Devil Fruits are made by people's desires, correct?"
They seemed to get that part.
"We've been to Skypiea lately, so this should be easy to explain. You remember the Sun God, correct?"
"How does rubber power entail the Sun God?" Chopper asked curiously.
"Getting there," Kairo said softly.
"The Sun God wasn't someone who had sun powers per se. He was a warrior of liberation — freeing slaves and destroying oppressors. While being a kind god, he was also quite destructive, destroying his enemies like no other. His body was said to impart great freedom to him... but when the first world ended, he was killed. I do not have access to how, but humanity had something to do with it." Kairo paused a bit.
"First world?" Chopper said, confused.
Kairo tilted his head.
"There were two worlds before this one. First was Nika, second was Joy Boy, and third is this one. This, however, isn't that important. What's important is that after Nika vanished and people were being oppressed, the desire to be freed — to be liberated — was quite high. So roughly 900 years ago... his fruit, alongside every other fruit, appeared."
"Though the basic ability of the fruit was rubber..."
As those words left his mouth, Luffy, who was seen stretching his cheeks as he got bored, wondered why everyone was looking at him.
"Your fruit's real name is not the Gum-Gum Fruit," Kairo said, tossing a book at Luffy. Luffy caught it, and Nami, who was supposed to be sailing the ship, was looking at the book with Luffy — since, you know, Luffy's ass wasn't finna read.
"In the old books, its true name lies."

A/N I have no issue writing bl or Yaoi, or he'll even futa.

All of this to say, I can and probably would have started writing one shots of those categories but I don't know if yall would read it.
I am genuinely curious about those alternative romances and stories, I have changed writing style 3 times in the last year or so, so I am very curious and eager to learn.
Also yes I know this is coming out of nowhere in the middle of a huge reveal.
(As you are reading this, a female lead fanfic one shot is story about jjk being written and yes she is tomboy cause that all i can write well)
Now question for this chapter, now that Luffy aware of his fruit and Kairo being like the best teacher when it come to haki and devil fruit that anyone could ask for.
When will Luffy awaken his fruit and to save you the trouble, Zou and Whole cake island are not it, he would have awaken it by then.
