If one is has been to the Hokage office he would realise this place looks quite similar just has an sadistic aura to it.
The man is surrounded by Root anbu.
He was none other than Danzo Shimura.
"You are late Orchimaru.", he said as Orchimaru approached him.
"Sorry was busy with my new student."
Orchimaru used Akira as excuse it that he doesn't want to spend time reporting to his old man he rather spend time dissecting a body.

Danzo didn't care about Orchimaru's student in anyway what so ever he only cared about his current goals.
"You do realise using cell division to replicate and produce The first Hokage's cells is hard."

Although with his new student's interesting biology it was very possible he still didn't want to rush just yet.
His new student is very interesting, almost an exact copy Orchimaru himself and 'him' a mixture of two protégés.
Orochimaru held his new student in high regard that is his physical trait and his ability to understand jutsu was a secondary interest.
But still he valued great talents as he needs to figure out a way to immortality even though Orochimaru believed that he could do that alone having help which is loyal to him isn't exactly a bad thing.
The perfect example of this was Kabuto in the original.

Now Akira had come into Orochimaru's life before Kabuto and still haven't displayed his talent.
He could only wait for results, and if they were bad it would be fine too as he could bond with his student while doing experiments on him.
Unfortunately for Akira, Orochimaru hadn't changed.
"And what about the rest of the projects?", Danzo's words cut to though the air.
"Let's see I don't really have any Idea or knowledge to work on the Cannons."
"Not about those I know you can do nothing about those,... What I want to know is have you.... never mind."
