"So... what happened?", Tony asked.
"We won," Captain America looked towards the sky and answered.
"Sigh! Alright, yay~ Alright good job guys! Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just... Let's just take a day off."
Even though Tony was lying on the ground, after hearing that they had already won, he was in a great mood.
"Ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it."
Colonel Rogers also agreed with Tony's suggestion. You can't just fight and not eat, right?
But after glancing in the direction of Stark Tower and thinking about Loki still being there, he reminded them, "We're not done yet…"
Everyone instantly understood what the Captain meant.
"Then shawarma after."
It seemed like Tony absolutely had to eat shawarma today.
Natasha knew that it wasn't just Tony who had gone through the portal with the nuke. Corin had gone too.
After learning through the communicator that Tony had landed safely, she reminded everyone, ["Mr. Destiny went through as well…"]
"When did that happen?"
Thor and Colonel Rogers were startled when they heard that, speaking at the same time.
The two of them had been caught in a tough fight just now, busy dealing with the enemies in front of them. How would they have had the time to pay attention to anyone else?
Tony's eyes flickered in a brief daze.
He vaguely remembered that after passing through the portal, he had planned to throw the nuke into the enemy camp with all his strength.
But the moment the nuke left his hand, he was knocked back by a huge force.
'Thinking about it now, that red figure wasn't that Silver Duke guy, right?'
"It wouldn't feel right to eat shawarma without everyone."
Tony looked up at where the portal had just been, the confusion in his eyes slowly turning into seriousness.
He was safe, but what about Silver Duke?
"Silver Duke? Silver Duke? Can you hear me?"
There was no response at all.
Everyone's faces gradually darkened.
———
At that moment, Corin had no idea that Tony had already made plans with everyone to eat shawarma.
The space energy inside his body was stirred up, forming a strong white light that shot from his body into the distance, identical to the energy beam that had risen from the top of Stark Tower earlier.
Corin stared at the changes in his body in amazement, not understanding what was happening.
But since it was happening, it probably wasn't a bad thing.
He quietly watched as the beam of light flashed and disappeared. He vaguely felt that in the direction the energy had shot toward, Earth was there.
As the energy pierced through space, ripples began to appear before his eyes.
Colorful ripples with special light effects appeared out of thin air in front of Corin.
Gradually, the light shifted from Corin's body to the space ahead of him.
Like a droplet falling onto the surface of water, the fluctuations in the space before him grew stronger and stronger.
Buzz!
"Ha!"
When the fluctuations reached their peak, it was as if a tear had been ripped open in the universe.
A familiar scene appeared before Corin. It was the very place where he had stripped Loki's clothes earlier, Stark Tower.
To his surprise, on the other side of the spatial crack, several teammates were gathered together with their backs to him, staring at something.
Through the gap, Corin saw Loki, dressed lightly, his hair messy.
At that moment, there was a unique aura about him, a sense of brokenness.
It made Thor very curious about what had happened to his brother to make him look so worn down.
"And where did his clothes go?"
The spatial door appeared without a sound.
No one noticed, except Loki.
Facing the direction where Corin appeared, the moment he saw him, it was as if he had seen something infinitely terrifying. His pupils shrank sharply into tiny points.
Thinking about how Tony had invited him for a drink earlier, he told himself that in front of so many people, that guy probably wouldn't bully him again, right?
"If it's still possible, I'd like a drink," Pretending to stay calm, Loki turned his gaze toward Tony.
Ignoring Barton and the others who had their bows drawn at him, the one he most wanted to ignore right now was actually Corin.
The shadow Corin had left on him was too great. Even in his seemingly calm expression, there was a trace of unease.
"Guys, decided what to eat yet?"
The spatial rift disappeared the moment Corin stepped through.
Hearing the familiar voice behind them, everyone perked up.
Turning around in surprise, Tony saw that Corin had returned unharmed. He quickly hid the smile at the corner of his mouth, "We decided on shawarma. You probably haven't had it before."
Corin looked at Tony's face, now fully exposed without the mask, and twitched his lips, "What kind of trash is that? Isn't asian food way better?"
Forget it. He was starving right now. Whatever it was, as long as it was food, it would do.
Seeing his good friend back, Thor walked up beside Corin and asked in a low voice, "Bro, what did you do to my brother? I've never seen him this obedient."
"Nothing much. Just disciplined him a little for you."
Hearing that, Corin glanced at Thor's curious face, then shifted his gaze to Loki.
Thor looked at Corin with a bit of admiration.
No one knew better than him how troublesome his brother could be.
But in such a short time, Brother Destiny had actually made Loki behave so honestly, like a mouse seeing a cat.
As an older brother, regarding such an effective method and ability to discipline a younger brother, Thor's stance was clear: he wanted it.
Realizing that Corin was looking at him, Loki's body trembled instinctively, and he hugged his arms tightly.

[An Arab Restaurant]
Everyone sat around the dining table. Aside from Corin, who was devouring his food, the others all seemed distracted.
Tony recalled that his arc reactor had seemed to short-circuit just now and had nearly killed him.
'That's never happened before. Looks like I need to find time to do a thorough inspection.'
Rogers had even lost his appetite entirely. He had actually met someone exactly like himself and even fought him. The other man had claimed that Bucky was still alive.
Whether it was true or not, Colonel Rogers had no appetite left.
Dr. Banner could now remember many things from when he had transformed into the Hulk.
He seemed to recall knocking someone over when he charged out of the stairwell. The more he thought about it, the more familiar that person looked. Without realizing it, he glanced at Tony.
Logically, Thor was also very interested in Earth's food, but right now everything tasted like nothing to him.
Loki had slipped away right under his nose. That made him extremely frustrated.
As a spy, Natasha sensed the strange atmosphere at the table, and her appetite was affected as well, "Guys?"
"What's wrong with all of you?"
"We won. Shouldn't we be happier?"
"Look at Destiny. He's eating like it's the best thing ever."
"Though… is this stuff really that good?"
Natasha watched Corin wolfing down his food and took another bite of her shawarma.
'It tastes pretty average. Could it really be like Tony said, that Destiny has never had this before?' [T/N: Nonsense, shawarmas are great.]
Corin roughly knew why the others were so distracted.
'That's stuff for the fourth movie. What's the rush?'
'But honestly, this shawarma tastes pretty awful…'
Thinking that, Corin ordered another portion.
Using the magnetic field, heat vision, and freeze breath so frequently had drained a huge amount of his energy.
He couldn't recharge at super speed by just basking in the sun like Superman yet, so his appetite was still impressive.
New York City was swept into a storm of public opinion.
"Although this incident has just been confirmed as an alien invasion, for many people, this group of superheroes known as the Avengers is more than just a comfort."
"It's really great to have them."
"You know, having someone who can protect us is a wonderful thing."
"I love you, Thor!"
"Crimson Silver Duke, I love you!"
The news reports were filled everywhere with stories about the Avengers.
Some people tattooed Captain America's shield emblem onto their bodies. Some grew beards styled just like Tony Stark's. Others made Hulk's face into a mask and wore it on their heads.
Iron Man merchandise was selling out. Stark Industries' stock hit the daily limit up again and again.
But the hottest item of all was the half-face silver mask. Even though it was just cheap plastic, it represented one person, Crimson Silver Duke.
Among the many interviews, only one white-haired old man with slicked-back hair and sunglasses voiced a different opinion, ["Superheroes? In New York? How is that even possible?"]
[T/N: The Stan Lee]
There were also opinions saying they should take responsibility for the damage done to the city.
The discussions about the Avengers continued to ferment.
But they themselves seemed to have vanished into thin air, nowhere to be found.
