I'm trembling all the way to my toes with a thin layer of sweat covering my entire body.
Ren is on top of me with one arm wrapped around my waist and the other caressing my head. He has his face buried in the nape of my neck, his hair running down his back and spilling over his shoulder in silky streams.
We've gone at least three more times, but I'm sure we won't be stopping anytime soon, based on how the two of us are still feeling so insatiable.
"Your scent…" he mutters breathlessly into my skin. "It's definitely a heat, but it smells less like…"
His hesitation says it all. I venture a guess, "A dragon?"
Ren sighs, "Right."
"Then what do I smell like? Is it similar to another beast?" I wouldn't know, since I've never witnessed a heat before, let alone had more than the one from last week.
He props himself up on his elbow, leaving my neck for the first time in almost 10 minutes. "No, which is what's confusing."
