I'm still in shock as I walk down the stone path through town toward the bed and breakfast Zor and I usually go to.
I mean, I guess the invitation was vague—maybe he was suggesting something else, and I'm just jumping to conclusions. I shrug it off and take a few deep breaths. Whatever, no need to overthink it. I'm getting Zor some food, then I'm going to help her out… however that may be.
I head into the B&B, order her favorite soups and several other dishes, some for me and some extra in case Zarenien is hungry, too. They're probably tired after… being so busy all night. Maybe I'll stop and get some juice, too.

We've gone twice since Roan left. I'm starting to feel a little better—but that's not saying much, considering I still can't make myself get off of him. It's probably annoying as hell, but that's too bad. This is what he gets to deal with, being mated to some freak of nature.
