"I really wish Lucy could be more like Levy."
"Yeah. If only she were a bit cuter and quieter." Droy and Jet voiced their opinions, leaning against a pillar.
"I don't think I'm the ladylike type you're describing, guys. And besides, there's nothing wrong with Lucy-chan," Levy shook her head with a wry smile, adjusting her headband.
"Hey, hey, you guys, it's not nice to talk about Lucy behind her back, is it?" Ultear scolded lightly, tapping the table a few times with her teacup.
"It's just a joke!" Wakaba and Macao laughed heartily from the bar.
'Thinking I'm not here, so everyone talk nonsense about me...'
Earlier that morning, Lucy had brewed a magical potion herself, originally intended to make her skin soft and radiant.
Whether it was a problem with the obscure recipe or an error in Lucy's own mixing and preparation, after pouring the entire bottle into her bath and soaking, Lucy's entire body became transparent.
After trying many desperate methods without being able to revert to her original form, Lucy finally made her way to the guild after much hardship and sneaking around.
Now a completely transparent person, Lucy clenched her invisible fists, feeling as if she could barely hold her temper together.
Shivering with anger and the cold morning air, who would have thought that being forced to come to the guild invisible would allow her to hear so many bad things about herself?
'Someone, fetch me my Death Note!'
Lucy silently added Natsu, Gray, Wakaba, Macao, Elfman, and Droy to her hit list.
Ultear goes on the good list.
Mira, Raizel, Erza, and Kagura just laughed, so they're on thin ice.
'Wait, Raizel laughed too loudly... Never mind, I can't beat him...'
"Huh?" Lucy looked at the wine glass on the table and suddenly had an idea.
While they were still laughing, the invisible Lucy grabbed a full wine glass and splashed its contents right into Macao's face.
A watery slap sobered Macao up instantly.
"You bastard, what are you doing?! Do you have a death wish?!"
Without suspecting anyone else, Macao immediately grabbed Wakaba by the collar and yanked him out of his seat.
"What are you talking about?!" Wakaba was hot-tempered too, especially with Macao.
After all, they'd been arguing for as many years as they'd known each other.
"Stop playing dumb! You were the one who threw your whole drink in my face, weren't you?!"
"Don't you dare pin this on me, you old fool!"
"If it wasn't you, then who was it?!"
"How should I know?!"
As their argument escalated into a brawl, Jet suddenly felt a sharp pain near his ear, as if someone had grabbed his sideburns and yanked hard.
"Ow! Why are you grabbing me, Droy?!"
"What's wrong with you?! I didn't touch you!"
Without another word, Jet and Droy started fighting too.
"Why did they suddenly start fighting?" Ultear asked, blinking.
"Sounds like they're arguing about who splashed whom with a drink," Raizel noted, sipping his coffee.
Raizel, Erza, and Mira had been chatting at a nearby table and didn't notice exactly what started the scuffle with Wakaba's group.
"Why are Droy and Jet fighting too?"
"Ah, well, fights happen all the time. Can't be bothered to intervene," Raizel sighed.
He started to rise from his chair but then thought better of it—this wasn't his job to handle, that'd be Erza and Kagura's responsibility.
Keep chatting and carry on!
When Macao and Droy were shoving each other, they accidentally knocked over an easel and tore Reedus's newest painting.
"Ahhhh..." Wendy watched as a large hole appeared in the beautiful canvas, tears welling in her eyes.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Reedus shrieked, lifting a heavy oak chair as if to strike the brawlers.
"I was almost finished!!!" He then flung the chair wildly, missing Macao and hitting Natsu, who was peacefully eating a massive plate of fire-roasted chicken.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Natsu roared, spitting fire.
He grabbed his own chair and smashed it blindly, hitting Gray squarely on the head.
"Brat! Are you looking for a fight?!" Gray yelled, instantly stripping off his shirt.
"Don't interrupt my meal, stripper!"
The first four were just throwing physical punches, but Natsu and Gray were already using magical power, standing face-to-face and shouting at each other.
As Natsu and Gray's fight escalated, more members happily joined the chaotic brawl.
"What's going on now?" Wendy sighed, no longer caring about the ruined painting.
"Everyone calm down! What's happening?" Mira stood behind the counter, seeming at a loss.
Bang! Crash! Smash!
Members were occasionally thrown violently against the walls and ceiling.
Fortunately, the walls of the new guild were made of sturdy bluestone, or they would have been demolished already.
"Aren't you going to do something?" Raizel asked, patting Erza's shoulder as she ate.
"Leave them be, it's just like usual," Erza said without glancing back, immersing herself in her strawberry cake world again.
"But if this continues, the guild tavern will be destroyed again, won't it?" Mira said with a worried expression.
"Let them fix it afterward," Erza mumbled.
A stray wooden wine barrel suddenly bounced off the back of Erza's head!
"We're mature adults..." Erza muttered, her eye twitching.
Then a flying chair hit her shoulder.
"We shouldn't stoop to their level..." Erza's hand gripping her silver cake fork trembled violently from her suppressing her rage.
"Such a bunch of hopeless guys," Raizel sighed.
"1... 2... 3..." Raizel counted quietly under his breath.
"I SAID, ALL OF YOU, STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!!" Erza instantly Requipped into her Heaven's Wheel Armor and joined the fray like a spinning blade tornado.
With Erza's involvement, Kagura also entered the battlefield with her sword, though she didn't unsheathe it, of course.
Every scabbard strike was critical, taking down brawlers one after another.
"Miss Erza and Miss Kagura have joined the fight..." Kinana watched from the bar with concern.
"Forget it. I expected it would come to this," Mira shook her head helplessly.
"Sigh... Even Erza is like this, really," Carla scoffed.
"It's fine, the building won't be destroyed. The walls have reinforcement Jutsu Shiki written by Freed. If a table really gets broken, I can restore it with Arc of Time," Ultear continued drinking her tea, unconcerned by the flying bodies.
'I didn't expect it to get this bad...' Lucy thought, dodging a flying mug.
She felt the situation might be hard to control and prepared to slip away quietly toward the back door.
Suddenly, a flying Natsu directly crashed into her.
"Ouch!"
The flying Natsu hit her right in the kidney, knocking her over.
"Lucy's... voice?" Natsu, who had fallen to the ground, rubbed his butt and sat up.
He had clearly heard Lucy's scream.
"And this scent..." Natsu sniffed hard several times, crawling forward on his hands and knees.
"Is that you Lucy?" Relying on his keen Dragon Slayer nose, Natsu found Lucy sitting on the ground in the corner.
The distance between Natsu and Lucy's noses was barely over ten centimeters.
"It's Lucy!" Natsu pointed at the seemingly empty corner.
"You said Lucy?" Gray and Elfman's scuffle temporarily came to a halt.
"What Lucy?! Don't try to change the subject, flame-brain! The battle isn't over yet!" Gray yelled, grabbing Elfman by the collar again.
"That's right! You're becoming less and less of a man, Natsu!" Elfman strongly condemned Natsu's behavior of fleeing from battle.
"Could you at least try to make your topic-changing less obvious?!" Gray agreed.
"Born for battle, fight until death!!!" Erza roared in the background, smashing two guys' heads together.
"Is Lucy here too?" Mira looked in the direction Natsu had indicated but saw nothing but thin air.
"She should be here. I definitely heard Lucy-san voice earlier," Wendy nodded gently.
...
"I think I heard it too, but I don't see her anywhere?" Erza, dragging one unconscious person with each hand, turned to look around the wrecked guild.
"Lucy, where are you?" Happy ran in front of Natsu and stared at the blank wall.
'They found me...' Lucy, leaning against the wall, slumped to the floor in defeat.
"She's right here!" Wendy also came to Happy's side.
As she got closer, Wendy easily caught Lucy's distinct scent.
"But there's nothing there," Erza frowned deeply, dropping the bodies and looking in the direction Wendy pointed.
"That's right, everyone... it's me. Lucy."
Though no one was visible in front of them, Lucy's defeated voice reached everyone's ears clearly.
"Ehh!!!"
"It's a ghost!"
"Did Lucy die?!"
"Does Lucy have some unfinished business?!"
"I didn't do anything to you, Lucy's ghost!!!"
Some members even jumped on tables in fright at the disembodied voice.
