Chapter 513 - Chapter 513: Magia Dragon

When the group was about to arrive at Magia Dragon, Raizel had Selene and Kurnugi wait in the forest first.

Selene had said before that she and the Law Dragon Elefseria did not get along.

Whenever the two met, they would end up fighting.

Of course, the Law Dragon could not kill her now.

After killing the Earth Dragon God, he had suffered serious injuries, which was why he had been forced to issue that request—the Hundred Years Quest to seal the Five Dragon Gods.

Naturally, Selene did not think she was in the wrong.

In her view, since those people had attacked her first, she had only killed them out of self-defense.

There was nothing wrong with that.

Raizel did not comment on this.

He felt that Selene's threshold for judging hostility had been set far too low in the past.

Those weaklings could not kill her at all.

With her strength, she could have taken better measures—defeating them instead of killing them, then properly explaining her thoughts afterward.

But she had never tried doing that before.

As long as someone attacked her, she attacked back and killed them.

That was somewhat understandable, because dragons had always been that way.

It could only be said that if she wanted to become a proper human, she still had a long road ahead of her.

After Raizel, Ultear, and the others explained things to her, Selene also understood that she seemed to have missed many opportunities in the past.

That was why the earlier scene of her studying books on communication and interpersonal relationships had happened.

"Wait. Spray this first to remove the scent."

Ultear took out several bottles of their anti-One-Night-Virus Noble Phantasm—deodorizing spray!

Mira explained, "We've spent the past few days with Selene and Kurnugi. Our bodies must be covered in dragon scent. Everyone should spray a little more."

After a full three-hundred-and-sixty-degree, no-blind-spot spray session...

The group arrived at the oldest Magic Guild in the world, known as the first guild—Magia Dragon.

The ancient guild building looked especially majestic.

Above the stone-and-brick structure stood a dragon statue with its wings spread and head raised.

Magia Dragon.

"It's quite impressive," Raizel remarked.

Then the group knocked on the great doors and slowly pushed them open.

There was not a single person inside the guild.

A pair of red-glowing eyes stared at them.

A brown giant dragon with twin horns on its head, a gemstone in the middle of its forehead, and white fur covering its body soon appeared before everyone.

The Law Dragon.

The giant dragon lowered his head and looked at them.

"My name is Elefseria. I have not received any notice that a team has accepted the Hundred Years Quest."

Unlike Lucy, who cried out in shock, Erza looked up at the Law Dragon and asked in confusion,

"A Magic Guild with no Mages, but a giant dragon inside?"

The Law Dragon also looked over the group, then said in surprise,

"Oh? There are actually this many girls? The ones who came before were all sleazy old men and rough, muscular brutes."

Wendy faintly felt something was off.

She sniffed hard twice, confirmed the scent, then transformed into Detective Conan and said with certainty,

"The scent is wrong. He's human, not a real dragon."

Hearing Wendy's words, the Law Dragon changed back into human form.

An old man with a white beard appeared before everyone.

He carried a dragon-headed staff and wore a black wizard hat, a smile hanging at the corner of his mouth.

He was the first guild master of Magia Dragon—

the Law Dragon, Elefseria.

"The first guild master?!" Lucy exclaimed.

This was the oldest guild in the world.

If he was the first guild master, then just how old was Elefseria?

Wasn't he far older than Precht?

Facing the members' doubts, Elefseria lowered his head and explained with a frown,

"Like the Black Dragon Acnologia, I underwent dragonification because of Dragon Slayer Magic. That is why I have lived this long."

His Dragon Slayer Magic was self-taught.

The reason he had learned Dragon Slayer Magic was also to eliminate dragons.

"All right. Now it is time for you to tell me why you have come."

The reason Elefseria had explained so much was purely because of Fairy Tail's guild mark, as well as the looks of Ultear, Mira, and the others.

After all, Gildarts had been the ninety-eighth challenger, and also the only one who had returned alive.

Elefseria still had some impression of Gildarts.

The "sleazy old man" he had mentioned earlier was referring to Gildarts.

"I am Raizel of Fairy Tail, currently the strongest Mage in the guild. We came to visit you."

Raizel stepped forward and spoke.

When Gildarts had returned last time, the two of them had sparred, and the match had ended with Raizel's victory.

Elefseria raised an eyebrow and looked Raizel over with interest, observing whether or not he was lying.

"That man is no weakling."

However, Elefseria had no way to test him now.

He had already lost his heart and was no longer in his prime.

Raizel gave him a direct display of strength.

He took over Omnimon X.

His cape surged upward under the force of the soaring Magic Power.

His armor gleamed brightly, the Grey Sword shone with a cold light, cold air spilled from the Garuru Cannon's muzzle, and Magic Power so dense it almost seemed solid filled the area.

That convinced Elefseria that Raizel had not lied.

"A visit? Tell me your purpose."

Elefseria's tone instantly became gentler. He stroked his beard and thought, 'If possible, I need to make him take over the Hundred Years Quest.'

"I want to know something. After you transformed into a dragon, did you suffer from any side effects, such as being unable to sleep, losing your sense of taste, or becoming afraid of the cold?"

Erza immediately understood.

Raizel had come for her.

Or rather, for Irene.

Raizel had told her before that after Irene became a dragon, she suffered from these side effects.

It was also because of those side effects that her mind became somewhat abnormal.

Elefseria raised an eyebrow, then shook his head.

"No. There is no difference from when I was human."

Raizel immediately followed up.

"Can you let me see the books you used to study Dragon Slayer Magic?"

Elefseria's Dragon Slayer attribute was Law, and he was also the creature with the greatest store of knowledge.

His records on Dragon Slayer Magic might contain a way to solve those side effects.

Elefseria's eyes lit up. He nodded.

"I can, but there is a condition."

"Please tell me."

"Accept the Hundred Years Quest. As for the contents of the quest, I cannot tell you until you sign the contract."

Raizel asked in return, "Does it have to be now?"

Elefseria heard the implied meaning.

"What do you mean?"

"Give me some time. After that, we will accept the Hundred Years Quest."

"Reason?"

"I have to kill Acnologia first. Also, Ishgar may soon go to war with the western continent, so we have to return."

Elefseria could not help looking at him.

What a bold words.

Kill Acnologia!

However, he still said irritably, "And what if you never manage to kill the Black Dragon in your entire life? Does that mean you never have to accept the Hundred Years Quest? I refuse that deal."

"Please look at this."

Raizel used Super Archive Magic to transmit the images of their previous battle with Acnologia to him.

The final scene was Igneel biting off one of Acnologia's arms.

"This..."

Elefseria's pupils shrank sharply.

There was no helping it.

The scene was simply too shocking.

"As you can see, Acnologia has lost an arm. In addition, one of our guild's Dragon Slayers has obtained the power left to him by the Fire Dragon King Igneel and is currently training."

"The Fire Dragon King Igneel!"

Elefseria's hand tightened around his staff.

Among dragons and Dragon Slayers, Igneel's name was as famous as thunder.

Raizel raised two fingers and spoke seriously.

"Give me two years."

"I will kill Acnologia."

"No more than two years."
