This version of Acnologia had never been dragged into the time rift and driven mad from devouring Magic Power.
His strength had not returned to its peak, but running into four dragons and so many Dragon Slayer Mages at once had him practically drunk on excitement.
Even so, there was a problem.
He had realized that Irene, who could use Enchantment, and August, who could copy Magic, were complete damned bugs.
'Do I need to wipe out everyone who knows Enchantment too?!'
But he had no room to think that far ahead.
Against a siege like this, Acnologia did not dare grow careless.
He beat his wings wildly and whipped up a gale so powerful that Jellal and the others could not get close.
Even Kurnugi had to dig his claws into the ground just to keep himself steady.
"Damn it!!!"
Natsu and Laxus were the only ones besides the dragons who could hold their ground, but even they had to crouch low, their faces twisting as they tried to force their way forward.

The lance in Examon's hand changed into a lightning sword.
His giant horn, wings, and claws were covered in golden Digizoid, and his overflowing Magic Power gathered into a swirling vortex above his head.
Raizel's presence climbed higher and higher.
He beat his wings, soared into the sky, and vanished into the clouds.
The dark sky filled with cyan lightning, flashing over the sacred peak and illuminating the faces of the Black Dragon, Selene, Irene, and everyone below.
All attacks stopped.
Even the Black Dragon could not help but looking up.
Thunder rolled and echoed above the sacred peak.
A thundercloud filled with cyan lightning floated over Acnologia's head.
Then, without warning, a crack of thunder split the sky. Majestic Magic Power and pressure poured down from the heavens.
Acnologia's heart trembled.
He did not know what was happening, but for a moment, he felt something close to fear.
From within the rolling cyan thunderclouds, twelve 'Raiken Bureiragaha' descended from the sky.
They fell with lightning speed and stabbed straight into Acnologia's body.
Acnologia's beating wings were forced to stop.
The elemental lightning swords pierced into his flesh, and lightning rampaged through his body, making him roar in pain.
Raizel's attack did not end there.
His right claw gripped the lightning sword as he slashed diagonally down at the struggling Acnologia.
A huge scar tore from Acnologia's right shoulder down to his left abdomen.
Blood poured from the wound, and cyan arcs of lightning crackled through the torn flesh.
Laxus's body had already shrunk back down since Brandish no longer had enough Magic Power to maintain his giant form.
Natsu had also returned to normal size, but not because of a lack of Magic Power.
It was simply no longer necessary.
Because just now, Raizel had changed from Examon X into another form!
[Take Over: Omnimon!]
On Omnimon's chest were five inscriptions—red, two black, white, and blue.
This was the power Igneel, Metalicana, and the others had left to Raizel.
"Everyone, lend me your strength!"
"Everyone, release your Magic Power!"
Irene, August, and Wendy reacted first.
"Magic Power—Enchant!"
The five dragons, including Igneel; the seven Dragon Slayer Mages; Atlas Flame, the Hellfire Dragon; Selene; Irene; Kurnugi; August; the Ten Wizard Saints of Ishgar; the Mages of Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, and Lamia Scale; the Spriggan 12 present except Dimaria; even Zeref himself—

The Fiore army, the Magic Council forces, King Toma, and Princess Hisui, all of whom were praying for everyone, offered their Magic Power as well.
Countless pillars of light gathered together and slowly flowed into the gem on Omnimon's chest.
It was like a single drop of water falling onto a still surface.
A ripple spread as blinding white light swallowed Omnimon.
"Dimaria, it's your turn!" Ultear ordered when she saw Acnologia struggling to move and trying to interrupt the flow of Magic Power into Raizel.
"Take Over: Chronos, God of Time... Time's Scar!"
After entering her Take Over, Dimaria released her Magic Power in full and cast Time's Scar on Acnologia, directly stopping the Black Dragon as he tried to disrupt everyone's Magic Power.

Omnimon's white cape was the first thing to change.
The white cape fluttering in the wind began to glow blue, and from the very top, it slowly transformed into white wings.
A dozen white feathers drifted down from the sky.
The Garuru Cannon on his right arm changed completely, turning white.
Three rings of blue light appeared around the mouth of the Garuru Cannon.
He raised his left arm and swung it down with force. The Grey Sword on his left arm also glowed blue and changed into the Gureitou.
Omnimon's entire body began to transform as well.
The orange and blue that had belonged to Garurumon and Greymon disappeared, and his whole body turned white.
Blue lines of light shimmered through the Digizoid patterns.
"Omnimon: Merciful Mode!"
Raizel's gaze sharpened.
The wind swept over his white wings as he first raised the shining blue Garuru Cannon on his right arm.
A beam of absolute-zero cold shot out like a laser, slicing through Acnologia's wings at the root just as he tried to take off.
Acnologia, already heavily wounded, did not simply wait for death.
Enduring the pain, he forcefully swallowed Magic Power into his stomach.
"Black Dragon's Roar."
Acnologia's all-out roar dyed the dark sky blue.
The blade of the 'Gureitou' shone with brilliant blue light.
Raizel first held it horizontally with his left arm, then lifted it upward, splitting the incoming Black Dragon roar in two.
Then his eyes turned cold.
He beat his wings and accelerated, the Gureitou shining once more.
He raised the Gureitou before his eyes.
The dazzling light reflected in his sharp gaze, and then he suddenly brought it down.
Blue light swallowed Acnologia, and more than half of the sacred peak was covered by the radiance of that one slash.
Boom!
A violent shockwave blasted outward in every direction.
Acnologia had already been forced back into human form and was sent flying out of the explosion.
From the crown of his head down to his chest, a blinding slash mark ran straight through him.
Split in two.
The sacred peak beneath everyone's feet had been carved open by a long, narrow ravine so deep they could not see the bottom.
From a distance, it looked as if the entire sacred peak had been cleaved in half from top to bottom.
A chorus of sharp breaths rose across the peak, and everyone made a great contribution to warming the air around them.
"Was it really that powerful?!!!"
"Even a god couldn't block that slash, right?!!"
"Ahem, careful what you say. Careful!"
That was Makarov, who was a little superstitious.
"Wait... Acnologia... is he dead?"
Only then did Lucy suddenly come back to herself.
"That's right. He's dead."
Raizel's voice, still in Omnimon: Merciful Mode, carried a faintly sacred quality.
