My Pee Is Yellow didn't say much. He quickly opened the latest PV and started watching.
The first thing that came into view was, as always, the logo.
After the logo, a burst of intense white light shone out. Then the camera slowly tilted downward, and everyone finally saw what it was...
It was the sky... the sky of the Luofu.
But right now, the Luofu's sky wasn't in its usual state of blue skies and drifting white clouds. A powerful light source had made the Xianzhou feel like daytime at every moment these past days.
This was clearly a trace left behind by the neutron star explosion within the lens. It was a bit too bright, but the people of the Xianzhou could more or less accept it.
After all, the Xianzhou giant ships sailed the sea of stars. The universe was vast. Situations where they were too far from a star, or unable to access one, weren't unheard of.
To maintain normal life, within the caverns, they essentially had their own heavens and earth.
As the perspective slowly moved downward, sweeping past the streets and pedestrians, it finally settled on a bowl of clear tea with a faint pale-yellow hue.
The tea gently rippled. Reflected within it was a white-haired youth. A pair of fair, small hands reached out to hold the teacup together. Nero lifted the tea, brought it to his lips, and gently blew on it.
A wisp of steam drifted away. The camera pulled back slightly, and the audience noticed familiar figures at several tables behind.
There were companions from the Astral Express, and also new friends from the Xianzhou. March was staring intently in a certain direction, while Yanqing was holding the latest volume of "Cosmic Sword Immortal."
After blowing on the tea several more times, Nero finally brought it to his lips and took a small sip.
The next moment, the boy's body jerked. He stuck out his tongue, then silently set the teacup back down on the table.
This wasn't Himeko's coffee. It didn't have that thick, heavy coating sensation, so it couldn't dull the sensitivity of a child's fragile tongue.
He raised a hand and wiped at the corner of his eye, then let out a sigh.
The scene slowly shifted, and at the same time, a voice came from off-screen.
"Ladies and gentlemen, honored guests, today's story is about the Cosmic Sword Immortal."
As Mr. Xiyan's voice fell, the camera angle shifted to him. So this was the Evernight Marquis, the place where Mr. Xiyan told his stories.
In the next moment, a flying sword flashed past, pulling the scene into the distant universe. The players' familiar Blue Star and the Herta Space Station appeared on screen.
Immediately after, Black Cutter appeared in the scene, and Nero appeared as well. He was flying through space on his sword.
His white hair flowed freely, as if something was protecting him, letting him move unhindered in space, completely unaffected by the environment.
"Speaking of that Cosmic Sword Immortal, carefree and unrestrained, with a free-spirited temperament. Wandering the vast universe, playing through the mortal world…"
Mr. Xiyan's voice gradually faded, replaced by music that carried a sense of freedom. At the same time, Nero, who was flying on his sword, shifted from a 3D model into a 2D form.
Still, the people watching the PV all had the same feeling. At any second, this classical, elegant tune would be replaced by explosive heavy metal.
After all, that fit the impression Nero gave when he came crashing down with a jump slash.
Right then, the Doomsday Beast flew past the far side of Blue Star. This ancient beast's corpse, fused with countless shattered souls into a beast of destruction, charged toward the Herta Space Station.
At almost the exact same moment, Nero turned into a gust of wind and instantly appeared above the Doomsday Beast's head. Then he brought down a jumping slash onto it.
The beast of destruction swayed under the overwhelming force, then drifted into the depths of space. A streak of sword energy arrived in a flash and split the Doomsday Beast cleanly in two.
Sleeves fluttering in the wind, moving like a shadow, striding boldly through the world, a crimson blade and a raging steed.
At this moment, the scene turned black and white, like an ink painting, and slowly shifted to one side. The setting changed from the Herta Space Station to Belobog.
Heavy snow fell. Snowy peaks stood tall. The Mother of Deception lifted the Imaginary Monument and hurled it downward.
Beneath the massive monument, falling like a meteor, the Trailblazers stood ready, bracing to resist it.
But then a flash of cyan sword light cut through, slicing the massive object apart in an instant, erasing it completely.
Dark clouds churned in the sky, only to be split open by a sword strike, forming an inverted canyon.
In the next moment, Nero slashed again at the Mother of Deception. The sword energy surged like a hidden dragon rising from the abyss, vast and overwhelming like heavenly might.
It swallowed the Mother of Deception whole, and at the same time carved enormous gaps into mountains, land, seas, and rivers.
Flowing clouds like a painting, heavenly light breaking through clouds, a jade dragon turning profound, its power vast and resplendent.
The image froze at this moment, once again becoming a black-and-white ink painting like before, then slid to the side.
This time, the scene arrived at a planet similar to Xianzhou civilization.
Phantylia and Falcorez were here.
Nero formed a sword seal with his fingers and deployed a sword formation.
A pale cyan formation expanded, and ten thousand swords stood within it.
The boy stood atop Black Cutter, roaming freely, controlling countless flying swords within the formation as he launched an attack on Phantylia and Falcorez.
The Jade swords surrounded them from all directions, thrusting, slashing, coordinating with each other, leaving Phantylia and Falcorez struggling to respond.
Then, as Nero grasped Black Cutter and swung again, both Phantylia and Falcorez were swallowed by sword energy. Even the planet itself was split in half by the strike.
Summoning wind as a sword, forming a formation of blades, swords howling fiercely, a storm of sword rain surging.
As the planet split into two, the scene froze once more into an ink painting. The increasingly intense music came to an abrupt stop. As the image shifted, Mr. Xiyan's voice rang out again.
"The Cosmic Sword Immortal travels far and wide, righting wrongs and upholding justice wherever he goes. Those who know him all say this of him..."
"'Clad in white whiter than snow, a jade dragon treads the clouds in roaming. You carry a three-foot sword, its energy sweeping the nine provinces."
"Your steps spin like a gale, your strength rolls like a storm. Your blade falls like a shooting star, its edge fells ancient dragons in their sleep."
"With a swing, you sever the firmament, reaching the ends of the azure heavens. Drawing your sword, you part mountains and seas, splitting the earth to reveal a vast abyss."
"You turn the wishful disk, swords arrayed before the formation. Seven stars follow at your side, sun and moon held within your palm."
"You roam the cosmos without end, constellations vast as drifting smoke. A fleeting flash of light, and you've seen the peak of this world.'"
As Mr. Xiyan's voice faded, the scene finally returned once more to the Evernight Marquis teahouse.
March blinked in her seat and nudged Dan Heng with her elbow.
"If what he's saying is true, just how strong is this Cosmic Sword Immortal? By the way, Dan Heng, don't you feel like the stories Mr. Xiyan is telling sound kind of familiar?"
As March spoke, a certain little white cat in the corner suddenly trembled.
Dan Heng glanced at March, then slowly withdrew his gaze. He calmly took a sip of tea before giving a simple "Mm."
And that was it. He didn't say anything more.
Seeing that Dan Heng wasn't responding, March, already used to his personality, didn't get annoyed. Instead, she started thinking on her own about why Mr. Xiyan's story felt so familiar.
