Chapter 13
- Third Person's POV -
Ceejay walked through a park to the hut where their clan's EB place is, after their class. He was carrying in his mind that Rhea would also go even though he knew it was vague because of the fight they had earlier. But every step of the young man approaching the hut, he hoped he would see the presence of the girl. Reason for his attending EB.
When he entered the hut, he immediately wandered his eyes around. He was not disappointed and he saw what he expected to go.
From where he was standing, he could see that Rhea was happy and teasing with Boss Ganda and her clanmates. There was no sign on the young woman's face that she was affected by her encounter with the young man earlier. The young man was smiling as he watched the girl. But the young man's smile disappeared when he noticed Jc next to Rhea. He was laughing with her and playing clever words.
"Rhea, you're good at English, aren't you? Translate 'Mahal Kita.' " Jc said almost laughing.
"Piece of cupcake." Rhea even boasted, "I love you."
"I love you too." He answered with a teasing smile and a wink.
"Hey!" Boss ganda was still grinning at Jc and slapped his shoulder laughing.
Jc just grinned with his white teeth clearly visible.
"How about 'Mahal ko' in English?" Juviler suddenly intervened in the conversation, who was standing right next to Boss Ganda.
Rhea was still smiling when she looked at him, "My love?"
"Yes?" Juviler gave Rhea a playful smile and soon, she giggled.
They all burst into laughter that echoed throughout the hut.
"Doesn't anything hurt you, Prim?" AkinKa joined them.
"Nothing. Why?" Rhea answered almost laughing.
"Because my love ran over you when you crossed my life and fell into my heart." Akinka hissed and then giggled.
Rhea burst out laughing while holding her stomach.
"May your soul rest in his heart." Jc smiled while holding his chest.
Boss Ganda turned to look at him with curiosity but she was still grinning, "Are you okay?"
"My chest hurts." Jc responded weakly while still smiling.
"Why?" Boss Ganda asked in surprise but her smile did not disappear.
"Because Rhea is here inside my heart." Jc was grinning so much that his mouth was about to tear.
Rhea gave a half-suppressed laugh as she replied, "I meant that to kill you."
Jc laughed softly, "How bad."
"As bad as your pick-up lines." Juviler even ridiculed Jc.
"But admit it, she was thrilled." Boss Ganda teased Rhea who almost laughed.
While Rhea was smiling looking at Jc, Akinka reached for the girl's face and pinched it.
Almost all of them laughed at the same time except for Rhea.
"It hurts." Rhea tried to remove AkinKa's hand from her cheek.
"I'm sorry. I thought you were drunk because your face was so red." Akinka explained almost cheerfully.
"Stop it." Rhea frowned as she rubbed her cheek pinched by AkinKa.
"The wind felt like as cold as her."
All their eyes turned to the young man standing next to Juviler.
The smile on Rhea's face slowly disappeared when she recognized the man who suddenly joined in their cheerful chit-chat. She frowned as she raised an eyebrow looking at him.
"Everyone comfort Princebeybe. He seems to have been crying for a while." Juviler sneered, "I mean the sky. The sky was crying a while ago."
Boss Ganda, Akinka and Jc gave a half smile at Juviler's taunt which was not funny, while Rhea was still staring at Ceejay's fake smiling face.
"What are you doing here?" Rhea asked in annoyance. You can hear in Rhea's tone that she is disgusted to see Ceejay.
"Can I no longer attend EB?" Ceejay replied with a half smile looking at Rhea.
The two looked at each other, clearly feeling each other's feelings. Later, without a word, the girl broke their gaze and turned her gaze in another direction then crossed her arms.
"Did the two of you have a fight, twinie?" Boss Ganda asked Rhea weakly.
"Ask him." The girl replied avoiding Boss Ganda's scrutinizing gaze.
Ceejay sighed, "Don't make my closeness with Marjorie an issue."
It rang in the young woman's ears when she heard Ceejay say Anonymous' real name so she faced the young man and stared at him annoyed.
"Marjorie? How close have you been to Anonymous for you to call her by her real name?" Her tone of speech was obviously preventing the annoyance she was hiding to come out.
Marjorie's ears suddenly rang when she heard her name mentioned from where Rhea was. She turned her attention to them with eyebrows crossed as she approached their location to find out who mentioned her name, and what was the reason for her name being involved.
"How close are you and Four to sleep in the same room?" Ceejay immediately scolded. His voice was weak but the annoyance behind it was obvious.
Rhea's eyebrows meet as she stared the young man in the eye with irritation, "Even th–"
"Nothing happened between me and her." Jc confidently said before Rhea finished what she was saying.
"Am I talking to you?" Ceejay answered in an annoyed tone.
The two young men looked at each other. Jc calmly looked at Ceejay in the eyes while Ceejay's eyes were blazing at him.
The members felt the tension between the two young men. Everyone turned their attention in their direction and waited patiently for what would happen next. While the officers were alertly observing the possible destination of their heated conversation.
"Ceejay, don't make a scene." Rhea said in a weak but annoyed tone.
"I'm not making a scene." The young man replied to the girl with gritted teeth while looking at her from the corner of his eye.
Jc suddenly smirked, "Don't you really have any trust in your future girlfriend?"
Ceejay stepped closer to Jc while his eyes were blazing as he looked the young man straight in the eye. Even if there is a slight gap in the faces of the two young men, that is enough to make the members nervous and the officers alert to the heating environment.
"Don't you dare question my trust in her." Ceejay answered weakly and slowly but his tone was very angry.
A calm half-smile could be seen on Jc's face as he replied, "What else are you having trouble with then?"
"You." Ceejay answered directly, "You are a huge problem in our relationship with Rhea."
Despite the intense atmosphere, he managed to let out a laugh that echoed throughout the hut, "You're not in the clan yet, Rhea and I are already friends."
Ceejay was about to answer when Rhea pulled his hand and he automatically turned to the girl with eyebrows crossed.
"Ceejay, stop now." The young woman ordered with clenched teeth.
Ceejay aggressively removed the girl's hand from his arm without a word. He was very annoyed to turn his attention to her.
"Ceejay!" The girl exclaimed making her voice slightly louder but he ignored her.
"Just calm down. I don't like to steal other people's toys." Jc said with a calm smirk on his face.
"A toy? Or maybe you've become someone else's toy?" Ceejay answered weakly as if he was challenging him with the tone of his words.
From a calm smile, Jc's face and poker eyes gradually changed to a teasing smile. Which evokes the heated gravity of the situation. Ceejay's menacing look matched this.
Both of them are holding back their anger, but it's obvious that just one wrong word from each other's mouth will end up in blood.
Everyone was silent and no one dared to speak. Everyone was too excited about what was going to happen to mess it up.
"Hey! You guys are enjoying the view too much. Take it off." Co-Founder Otso approached Nono, who is also a Co-Founder, and Lil_Ron, who is a terminator. At the same time, she hit the back of the head of the two.
"Nothing happens except for their deadly stares." Nono's reasoning.
"Are you really going to wait for something to happen?" Otso answered.
"You're really ruining the moment." Lil_Ron still complains.
Even if the two young men didn't want to, they were forced to come to where Jc and Ceejay were in order to calm the heated tension between the two.
"Boys, don't get used to the cold weather." Nono spoke while standing between Jc and Ceejay.
Lil_Ron also forced himself to enter the gap that the two young men had while he gently pushed Jc backwards.
Even though the two officers were in the middle of the two young men, the two didn't broke their blazing eye contact. Even Jc was already taking a step back due to Lil_Ron's gentle push on him. While Nono stayed in front of Ceejay to make sure he didn't get close to Jc.
"What are you doing?" Rhea looked at Ceejay again, raising her voice slightly.
Finally, the heated stare of the two young men was broken when Ceejay turned to Rhea.
"Did I do something wrong?" Ceejay scolded in annoyance.
"The only one you are jealous of is my close friend." The girl explained in a weak but angry tone.
"Are you really just a close friend?" The young man added.
Rhea sighed as she tried to control her growing anger, "Your jealousy is really out of place."
"Which place are you talking about for me to be jealous?" The young man even mocked in a sarcastic way.
"Ceejay!" The girl couldn't hold back any longer and her voice got louder in annoyance, "You're terrible if you can react to the closeness of me and Four, but the closeness of you and Anonymous is even closer to a couple!"
Ceejay's eyebrows met as he looked into Rhea's eyes, "Why are you so affected when Four is being talked about?"
"You're also too defensive when Anonymous is mentioned."
"Let's stop this, Rhea. This conversation is going nowhere."
"Ceeja–"
"I'm really tired of this world. I'm so fed up!" Ceejay complained with a loud voice. His anger echoed in his tone.
The girl grimace as she glared at the young man in annoyance, "Then evacuate to another world!" Angry sarcastic answer of the girl.
"Yes. I will definitely move." Ceejay immediately answered in a high pitched voice, "In your world!"
The members laughed almost at the same time which once again made noise inside the hut while Rhea's face suddenly calmed down and a suppressed smile appeared.
"Crazy! What planet do you think I'm standing on?!" The girl is still trying to be annoyed even though she is almost laughing.
"In my heart." Ceejay answered weakly and grinning.
Rhea's smile spread across all the members as if it was tickling. Ceejay seemed to be infected by Rhea's beautiful smile when she suddenly burst into laughter. It was as if the wind blew away the previously tense environment and replaced it with mocking smiles from the members.
"From bitter to sweet." Boss Ganda teased.
"You're really crazy." Rhea said while still grinning.
"I really lose my head when I'm in front of you." Ceejay continued with his sugar-coated words.
"Great. It will definitely send you straight to the mental hospital." The girl answered sarcastically.
"If you're the cause of me losing my senses, I don't want to have it anymore." The young man added with a mischievous smile.
"Ceejay, seriously!" The girl was still trying to look annoyed even though she wanted to smile.
"I'm really serious about you!" He answered in a high tone even though his mouth was about to tear from the huge smile.
The girl stomped her foot on the floor while clenching her fist and biting her lower lip. Something she does when she's holding back.
"Don't go near Anonymous!" The girl warned him.
"Don't even drink with Four!" The young man scolded.
"Four is a sensible man!"
"Marjorie is kind too!"
"Kind? Is flirting considered as kindness?" Rhea protested, "She is the cause of the 3rd party here in the clan."
Suddenly, Marjorie's eyes darkened as she was carefully listening to them. Without a second thought she stepped closer to Rhea and angrily pulled her hair from behind.
"Flirt, you say! As if you're beautiful!" Marjorie said in anger while shaking Rhea's head.
"Take it off!" Otso shouted.
While Rhea tried to remove Marjorie's hand from her hair, Nono tried to get between the two young women, who were close to them at the time. Lil_Ron helped Rhea remove Marjorie's hand from her hair and the team leaders Sais and Juviler pushed the two girls away from each other.
Everyone was amazed and murmured as they watched. Some encouraged Rhea to fight and others criticized Marjorie. The hut briefly turned into a cockpit due to the noise of some members.
After a few minutes of weaning, Sais and Juviler successfully separated the two young women. Sais stood in front of Marjorie to block her in case she rushed again, Juviler was in front of Rhea while the girl was busy fixing her hair in place. Nono and Otso came between.
Marjorie was still dying to shave Rhea but she couldn't get closer because Sais was in front of her.
"Flirt!" Rhea shouted angrily before Marjorie insulted her first.
"You're jealous because you don't know how to flirt!" Marjorie answered.
"Stop it!" Otso shouted in annoyance, silencing the other members who were making noise, "You are like spoiled brats! Where is your manners?!"
"Can't you talk properly?!" Annoyed Nono's statement.
"You Anonymous, this isn't the first time you've had an enemy in the clan." Lil_ron said to Anonymous while looking at her.
"It's because most of the girls are so insecure of me!" She boasted in a loud voice.
"Shut your mouth if you don't want me to make you bald." Almira's tone was weak but threatening.
"Well, wow. Even if you work together, I don't care!" Marjorie replied annoyed.
"Hey! Whatever problems you have outside, can you please not bring them here to the clan!?" Nono was angry with them.
"What is wrong in here?"
It was as if the world stopped and everyone fell silent when they heard a familiar voice. All attention turned to the young man who had just entered the hut and was walking towards the scene of the trouble.
His eyebrows meet as he examines the surroundings to understand what is happening. Even though everyone didn't speak, they were obviously nervous about the young man's arrival.
Later, he went to the middle of the two young women who were fighting and examined the officers who were in the middle of the two. They couldn't look directly at him. They all avoided his gaze one by one.
"Dead meat. Boss Uno is here." Sais whispered to herself.
"Time for another lecture." Juviler whispered jokingly then grinned as he bowed.
Nono, who was right next to him, elbowed him, making sure to stop him from mocking before he might hear it.
