It was the climax,Hermes kicked with his right leg using tremendous force,but was parried by yulangs forearm,creating a shockwave,yulangs bones bent,but were unable to penetrate through his own skin,before he fully lost control of this limb, at the moment of impact,using sheer will power,he sent a surge of mana flowing from his forearm to Hermes leg,the damage was equivalent to what his right arm had sustained,infact all this had happened in fractions of a second, most could not see all that occured,between the wind up kick, so imagine their surprise to Hermes broken leg as they gasped.
Hermes fist followed in an interval of less than a second,after his kick,making them appear simultaneous to the untrained eye, but the damage had already been done,the broken leg had caused him to experience,an instance of pain, that caused him to lose focus,hence speed, another factor was that he was still mid-air,allowing yulang to take a quick jump backwards,covering 6 feet of distance,swiftly dodgeing the fatal blow,Yulang firmly planted his feet to the ground, causing the wooden hill to crack beneath his feet, and finally released a left handed fully charged up punch, that he had been waiting for,while his right arm could be compared to a towel hanging on the line,as he proppeled himself forward for the final time.
The loss of Hermes leg, caused him to lose balance, meaning after the punch he was falling head first,inline for the punch yulang was more than willing to give.
But at that moment the God of combats,favour clearly shined over him, as an ingenious idea struck Hermes mind, allowing him to let out a silent smile,using the momentum from falling forward, he completed a full 360 degrees front flip,concentrating most of his power into his thunderous left leg,within his mind a war cry rang out," Thunderous descent!!",Similarly yulangs mind stirred aswell," Wave crushing fist!!",Hermes foot,and yulangs fists met each other that day,creating multi colored shockwaves a true battle showcase of the fighting arts.
Moments later, it seemed like a meteor descended from above,splitting the two boys from one another,Aster quickly appeared ," Perfect body double",as he split mid air,catching both Hermes and yulang as they were split apart violently into opposite directions by the shocking force,each double taking one of the boys to safety,Nordwind had been the meteor from earlier, who came crashing down splitting the two boys,the force leaving the boys unconscious,The moment he crashed down,his staff stabbed the ground whispering the name of a spell," mana domination","flowery blossom bloom",a combination of two spells in a single second,was unleashed, parts of the wooden hill lopped off,and flew off one by one, into the distance turning into pink flower blossoms, this went as far as corroding the statues Aster had made,resulting in gasps from the crowd,and the battlefield being covered in beauty.
There was a split second of quiet, The crowd analysed and pondered trying to register what had just occured,they were impressed by the beauty and show of power,kirshes eyes were solen, for a few simple reasons," damn,those two,to think they are at such a high level,is my level even comparable,and If I do challenge those twits,the possibility of a loss will further ruin my reputation",kirsh thought while biting his nails,deciding to let his initial revenge go,until he built a name for himself.
Galahad stepped forward in the moment of silence,and confusion clapping both hands it was like a chemical reaction,having been bewildered by the fight prior, nobody cared who began this concoction only that it was addictive and rightly deserved, the crowd Roared praising the two knocked out combatants for their valor,and effort,Benjamin chuckled," I would have assumed, that they would have held their punches,in order to make sure no blood of their own was spilt, or bone was broken,but to think they went to such an extent",Darian looked over to Benjamin,"well they aren't cowards I'll give them that",Galahad smiled," that's what you expect from a warrior bloodline",Benjamin added concluding the conversation.
Before long the area was cleared out,bringing the end to the riveting brawl,meanwhile near the upper half of the province, was a carriage carrying Matilda,Doulos,Claus, and Roselle as it neared agner village.
Claus scoffed, " it's been a few days now since we left the young master,but we could of arrived way sooner, if not for a certain group,who's gender shall remain ambiguous, constant rest stops",Doulos who was located outside as the carriage driver replied,"There's no need to be so antagonistic ,"Claus",lord Conrad advised us to take our time visiting the sites,besides I used some magic to allow us to arrive at just about the right time"," Its very rare to see the cities sights together ",Roselle said," I for one only visited for long periods as a young girl" she continued,Matilda nodding her head replied," I forgot that your families main business operations were not based in forents",Claus smirked," That seems like a big thing to just forget",Claus replied tauntingly,"Heyy!,you!...I'm still mad, over last time ,you can't just steal someone else's kills!",Matilda said,as she abruptly lifted herself from her seat.
Roselle gasped covering her mouth with one arm,Claus replied calmly,"back in my day we never randomly argued over kills,it's called a team effort,chase maturity before it leaves you,as they say","How would you feel, if I interrupted a dual huh!" Matilda pouted,"well that's a dual" claus replied with vigor ,"Anyways", Doulos chimed in," todays the young lords birthday, and it's the first his had without us",Roselle smiled,"official 15 ",Doulos knodded and continued," We should be arriving in agner village in about 30 minutes,don't go breaking the carriage with your bickering ".
Within Conrads estate many servants gathered to give the group a welcomed return,as they asked questions of splendors they had not seen,most of the people who were under sir Conrads employment had lived in agner village all their life,and the money they get would be spent within the village on their off days,Matilda quickly stepped down and organized the maids,the high, and mighty Claus was innammered by the attention,as he surrounded himself with the female and male servants talking about the wonders of the beyond,Matilda muttered softly,"You didn't even want to explore earlier",only for Claus to reply,"I heard that!".
Within the commotion,Roselle, and doulos slipped through unnoticed walking hand in hand,Roselles face was red,she couldn't help but remember how he gently gave his hand to her like a prince looking for a dance, reminding her of the first day she arrived,and now they walked crossed arms side by side no complaints, eventually they split apart, as Doulos headed towards Sir Conrads study to deliver his report,knocking twice before he heard Conrads voice," you may enter",when he did, he saw Sir Conrad in his normal office seat,but lady liedia was opposite him this time,as they faced each other while they played cards.
Doulos smirked,as he entered the room,handing over a blue gem,Conrad sighed taking it from Douloses palm,"I'm assuming everything went well", Conrad said calmly,"yes,there were no obvious issues or anything abnormal",Doulos replied,Conrad chuckled," There use to be a time when you would take your time explaining everything with painstaking detail,but now",Doulos eyes opened wide,his body giving a slight bow," I apologize Sire,I had no idea, I was neglecting my duties,I should be punished","No need,No need",Conrad countered while flapping one hand," I'm happy","In that case I'll take my leave",just as he turned his body,liedia spoke.
" Oh,I forgot to mention,you shouldn't play around with that girl too much,she has a man you know,I'm afraid she'll turn you down just like all the other suiters I've offered her",Doulos at first was stumpt by these words before smiling," I thank you for this warning", taking his leave.
[chrokus academy]Benjamin led Darian and Galahad to the observatory,as they spoke on what occured in the battle,Benjamin found himself in a childish state sometimes speaking incoherent sentences," the two of them went boom!,kaboom!,a left then right,it was honestly amazing",Galahad spoke," I'm sure this won't be the last time they fight",Darian continued," after the fight I felt a sense of fear come over most of the viewers,it seems they have never been hurt like that, in their lives",Galahad smiled,"this just means the chance of issued challenges will be very low,unless they know,the person they fights strengths and weaknesses,it's better to keep a low profile,an air of mystery atleast that's my opinion",Darian smiled,"lucky for you guys,The two of you are wielders of legendary weapons, knowing that alone is enough to repel most people",right after that was said they reached the top.
Chrokus was known for its three great towers but,besides those were the observatory, and the many lookout towers.
At the top was a beautiful scene,the stars were clear ,and visible,a rare sight ,as Darian watched, he sighed this would be his first Birthday, without them,as he focused on viewing the night sky,scenes of memory's long gone would surface,birthdays of his previous life when he missed a toof, and his new life,he saw shooting stars and how the sky just glittered edging beauty into his irises ,the Quiet beauty,allowed him to forget about his surroundings, and lol him into a state of security when he turned around,Benjamin,and Galahad stood behind him,with a Birthday cake that they had spawned,including pointy Birthday hats, and all,Galahad pointed at Benjamin," it was his idea ".
Darian smiled thanking the two as he kept his calm,his eyes reflecting the stary sky," aren't you going to blow the candles",Benjamin asked gently and so Darian did.
At the same time,in chrokus clinic ,the the two bandaged boys ,Hermes and yulang talked while in seperate beds divided by a long curtain,they spoke on the battle,they laughed, they made jokes,they made fun of each other's sense of style, and talked about their excitement and their dreams ,at this moment a new friendship was born.
