George gripped the control stick with both hands, pressing down on the pedals as he stared at the MS on the screen.
His finger pulled the trigger, and a Beam shot toward the Data Genesis Gundam on the display.
Mid-flight, the Data Genesis Gundam executed a high-speed rolling maneuver to evade the attack, then immediately returned fire with its Beam Rifle.
Seeing this, George quickly performed evasive maneuvers.
When no alarm sounded after his actions, he breathed a sigh of relief.
His eyes fixed on the Data Genesis Gundam, George launched another attack.
Another Beam shot forth.
The Data Genesis Gundam once again dodged with precise movements.
"Incredible!"
George couldn't help but voice his admiration at the Data Genesis Gundam's evasion skills.
As he spoke, an alarm sounded inside the Simulation Pod.
Hearing the alarm, George knew the Data Genesis Gundam had closed in.
Close-quarters combat was now his only option.
His fingers moved across the control stick.
The weapon selection dial displayed the Beam Saber.
With a press, the Beam Saber was selected.
George controlled his Data MS to engage the Data Genesis Gundam in close combat.
Three minutes later,
A rapid, urgent alarm sounded.
Then a voice came through the speaker.
"Unit destroyed! Unit destroyed!"
Hearing this, George stopped operating the controls.
The Simulation Pod door opened, revealing the lieutenant standing at the entrance.
The lieutenant's face remained expressionless, his voice still cold.
"Failure!"
Upon hearing these words, George clenched his fists tightly.
A moment later, he resignedly stood up and walked out of the Simulation Pod.
As George left, the next mixed-blood Coordinator passed him and entered the Simulation Pod.
...
Over three hours later,
Earth Alliance Forces Headquarters
Commander's Office
Williams looked up from the report he had been reading and addressed the officer before him.
"Quentin, how did these mixed-blood Coordinators perform?"
Hearing the question, Quentin looked at Williams and reported solemnly.
"Commander, among these mixed-blood Coordinators, the one who lasted the longest was named George Jomell Chiryura."
Upon hearing this, Williams felt a weight in his heart and asked in a subdued voice.
"How long did he last?"
Quentin bowed slightly, opened the report to the first page, and replied.
"George lasted fourteen minutes and thirty-two seconds."
Hearing this duration, Williams looked shocked and asked incredulously.
"Less than fifteen minutes?"
Seeing the Commander's astonishment, Quentin nodded seriously.
"Less than fifteen minutes. If we only count close-quarters combat, the longest anyone lasted was just three minutes and thirty seconds."
At this point in his report, Quentin took a deep breath and continued.
"Almost all mixed-blood Coordinators were quickly closed in on by this Data MS and ultimately defeated.
And not a single one managed to disengage once close-quarters combat began."
"I understand." Williams responded calmly, his expression grave.
After giving this reply, Williams picked up the report and carefully read its contents. Seeing Williams engrossed in the report, Quentin prepared to turn and leave.
At that moment, Williams spoke up.
"Gather all these people for training. Have them undergo directional training and combat cooperation exercises during this period. We'll review the situation again in a week."
Upon hearing the order, Quentin saluted Williams.
"Yes, Commander!"
After responding, Quentin turned and departed.
After Quentin left, Williams continued reviewing the report. While reading, the communication alert sounded.
The ringing made Williams look up.
Seeing the situation displayed on the screen, Williams set down the report and pressed the answer button.
"How are things progressing?"
Once the communication connected, Moonenidy's voice came through the speaker.
Hearing the leader's inquiry, Williams sighed and said.
"Leader, the situation isn't very ideal. Currently, individuals can only last less than fifteen minutes against that guy."
Moonenidy frowned upon hearing this report, speaking with clear displeasure.
"Less than fifteen minutes?"
Sensing the displeasure in the voice, Williams nodded with a serious expression.
"Yes, they can't last fifteen minutes. In close-quarters combat, they can't even last four minutes."
Seeing Williams' earnest expression, Moonenidy had no choice but to accept this frustrating outcome. After calmly thinking for a moment, Moonenidy asked.
What about coordinated siege tactics?"
Upon hearing this, Williams directly reported.
"Leader, their cooperative coordination isn't at its best yet, so we haven't conducted tests in that area."
Moonenidy nodded slightly, looking at Williams and countering.
"What do you plan to do?"
Considering the question, Williams thought for a moment before saying.
"I plan to put these people through some training and see how they perform afterward!"
Learning of Williams' approach, Moonenidy nodded in agreement.
"Report the latest results to me."
Williams raised his hand in a salute, speaking in a resounding voice.
"Yes!"
As the word left his mouth, Williams saw the communication had already ended. Looking at the terminated call, Williams redirected his focus to the report.
In space
On the Moon
On the battlefield where ZAFT and the Earth Alliance Forces were engaged in combat
"Damn it!"
Watching the Genesis Gundam darting about erratically, Thomson's face showed anger as he growled under his breath.
While he was growling, voices came through the comms.
"Captain, this thing's movements are too unpredictable. We can't properly establish an encirclement!"
"Captain, its mobility is too high. We can't effectively pin it down!"
"Keep trying to form the encirclement."
Hearing the communications, Thomson calmed his emotions and issued a cool-headed order.
After giving this command, Thomson controlled his Strike Dagger to open fire.
Inside the Genesis Gundam cockpit
Felix used his abilities to perceive all incoming attacks, maneuvering the Genesis Gundam through rolls and continuous multi-directional movements.
After completing the final evasive maneuver, all attacks were successfully dodged.
With his abilities active, Felix coldly stated.
"I won't let you succeed."
Saying this, Felix pulled the trigger.
A beam shot forward, destroying one Strike Dagger.
The Genesis Gundam moved toward the left front.
While moving, the two Sailfish Railguns on its waist deployed.
The shells fired at high speed, racing forward instantly.
Two Strike Daggers blocking the path were blown apart in an instant.
As the bright spheres of explosion flared, the remaining Strike Daggers swiftly moved to fill the gap.
The Strike Daggers aimed their Beam Rifles and opened fire at the Genesis Gundam!
