Sharp. Deep. Wrong.

"Shit." He tried to sit up. Failed.
Cinna appeared. Hands glowing. "Don't move. You're worse than I thought."
"How bad?"
"Three cracked ribs. Internal bleeding. Your shoulder wound reopened." She pressed harder. "I can't heal this fast enough."

He watched his wounds. Felt something shift.
The bleeding slowed.
Then stopped.
Green light flowed from his own body. Not Cinna's. His.
The ribs snapped back into place. The shoulder sealed. Pink tissue becoming white becoming normal.
Cinna's hands dropped. "What..."
Jayden stared at his chest. Perfect skin. No scars.
"I'm healing myself."
"That's impossible. You don't have Life affinity."
"No." His eye pulsed. "But Omni does."
The cave went deeper than they thought.
Stone walls. Glowing moss. Essence crystals jutting from the ceiling.
"This is a dungeon," Zain said.
Marcus checked the entrance. "Low rank. Maybe E or F."
"Perfect." Elena's eyes lit up. "Low level dungeons have wildlife. Fish. Rabbits. We can actually eat real food."
They explored carefully. Found a stream. Clear water. Fish swimming.
Cinna caught three in minutes. "I used to do this with my family."
Further in essence chickens. Small. Harmless. Delicious.
Marcus grabbed two. "Dinner."
That night they had their first real meal in days.

This wasn't just an eye anymore.

He returned to camp. Everyone was training.
"We need to talk," Jayden said.
They gathered around.
He explained everything. The regeneration. Shadow Step. The evolved prediction system.
Elena's eyes widened. "You can see the future?"

"That's insane."
"Yeah."
Zain leaned forward. "Test it. Right now."

"Fuck," Marcus breathed.

Blink.
He was there.
She spun. Ice already forming. "Don't do that."
"Sorry."
He stepped back. Everyone staring.
"Your Omni didn't just evolve," Elena said slowly. "It became god tier."
"Maybe." Jayden sat down hard. "But it doesn't change our situation. We're still hunted."
"Then we use it." Zain crossed his arms. "We train. Get stronger. Find proof of what really happened. Clear your name."
"How?"
"The dungeon sabotage. Someone wanted you dead. We find out who. Get evidence. Expose them."
Marcus nodded. "And we train you. Properly. No more running blind. We turn you into what they fear you'll become."
"A weapon?"
"A force of nature."
Jayden looked at his team. His friends.
They weren't running anymore.
They were preparing.
"Alright." His eye pulsed crimson. "We train. We investigate. We get strong enough that going back isn't suicide."
"How strong?" Cinna asked.
"Strong enough to face Theron. And win."
Silence fell.
Because they all knew what that meant.
Sage level strength. In months instead of years.
Impossible for anyone else.
But Jayden wasn't anyone else.
His eye flickered. Showed him the probability.

"Good." Jayden stood. "Because broken is exactly what we need to survive."
His eye pulsed one final time.
The evolution was complete.
