Early the next morning, Yuuko woke up early and washed up.
He originally thought Yae Miko would come looking for him today and drag him out to play.
But Yae Miko did not come today.
"Is she working hard now so she can go wild with me on Watatsumi Island later?"

"Yes!" Kuroda said excitedly.
After what happened yesterday, Kuroda now held Yuuko in considerable respect.
His attitude no longer resembled the relationship between an author and an editor.
Instead, it was more like the attitude one holds toward a superior... Yuuko nodded, decided not to linger, and prepared to leave.
But before leaving, he didn't forget to ask a question:
"By the way, is Miko at Yae Publishing House?"
Kuroda shook his head: "Chief Editor Yae is not at Yae Publishing House. The Chief Editor seems to have gone to the Shuumatsuban. If Lord Yuuko wishes to find the Chief Editor, you can go directly to the Shuumatsuban."

Just like that, Yuuko left Yae Publishing House.
And began walking towards the Shuumatsuban, which is the direction of the Kamisato Estate.
The main reason he was looking for Yae Miko now was simply that he was bored and had nothing else to do.
Moreover, Yuuko was a man of his word; he had promised to accompany Yae Miko during the Irodori Festival, and he would certainly follow through.
So even if Yae Miko didn't come looking for him, he would go find her.
