Chapter 163 - Chapter 163 Pumpkin Pants

Yes, Lisa defined it as a date.

She wasn't joking—she was serious, truly intending to have a lovers' date with Stelle.

As for the reason she gave Stelle… "I want to experience that feeling. Since Little Cutie has already confirmed relationships with so many people, you must be an expert, right?" That's what Lisa said, and besides Stelle, she didn't seem to have anyone else in mind.

Of course, she also planned to take care of part of her work along the way, killing two birds with one stone.

Stelle felt a bit troubled. It wasn't that she was unwilling; it was just that, when it came to dates, she realized she had virtually no experience.

Come to think of it, she had indeed gone out with Amber and Eula a few times, but calling those outings dates felt like a stretch.

"Little Cutie, are you nervous?" Lisa's voice snapped Stelle back to reality.

"N-not really nervous, but I really don't have any experience with dates…" Stelle scratched her head and looked around, only then realizing she and Lisa were already on Mondstadt's main thoroughfare.

Mondstadt was huge; this main street was the busiest district, and Hunter's Deer stood not far away.

"It's fine. I believe you can do it—after all, you've won over so many girls. A small thing like this definitely won't disappoint big sister," Lisa continued. "I'll leave it to you now. Where shall we go?"

Lisa tossed the problem to her.

"Hmm… how about we go window-shopping first?" After serious thought, Stelle asked tentatively.

Based on her limited experience, she might take a girl out to eat or catch a movie.

But they'd only just finished lunch, so eating was out of the question, and Mondstadt had no cinema—she wasn't even sure this world had films at all.

That left only strolling the streets and maybe buying something… "All right, I'll follow your lead." Lisa smiled gently, raising no objection to Stelle's suggestion.

Stelle relaxed slightly and walked Mondstadt's streets with Lisa.

Come to think of it, she had never really explored Mondstadt. Though she'd been here a long time, apart from Amber's brief tour at the start, she'd only ever visited a few fixed spots afterward.

Places like Cat's Tail Tavern, the Knights of Favonius, and the Adventurers' Guild.

A city as large as Mondstadt surely offered more than just those three destinations.

As they strolled, Stelle's attention was gradually drawn to the bustling shops along the way.

"Little Cutie, haven't you been here before?" Lisa asked curiously.

"I've passed through, but I was always in a hurry, so I never really noticed the stores lining the road," Stelle replied.

She realized she was about to leave Mondstadt, yet her knowledge of the city amounted to very little.

"In that case, let's take a good look around today. Hmm… let's drop by there." Lisa pointed ahead.

"With the Wind?" Stelle looked up at the shop sign and tilted her head in puzzlement.

It seemed to be a souvenir store.

They sold luxury goods—Stelle had never set foot inside.

"Why, Miss Lisa, welcome," the shopkeeper greeted with a smile the moment she saw Lisa.

"Miss Marjorie, any interesting new stock?" Lisa asked her.

"Lisa, are we buying souvenirs?" Stelle glanced at the items on the counter and broke into a cold sweat.

The prices were terrifying; even though she wasn't strapped for cash, any purchase would still hollow out her wallet.

"Of course. Since this is our very first date, a keepsake for such a memorable day is only natural. Don't worry—it's big sister's gift to you." Lisa chuckled, not caring that Marjorie was right there, saying something quite outrageous.

"Haha… a first-date souvenir. Don't worry, I'm sure Miss Lisa will find something to her liking." Marjorie covered her mouth with a laugh, then studied the pair, her gaze lingering especially on Stelle.

Truthfully, Miss Lisa often cracked jokes open to misunderstanding, but this girl before her… Marjorie felt Lisa's mention of a "first date" might be serious.

After all, if it were her dating such a cute girl, she'd never treat it as a mere joke.

"Come take a look—these are all recent arrivals." Marjorie brought the items out.

"Hmm…" Lisa bent down to inspect them carefully.

Stelle leaned in as well, scanning the selection.

But then her expression turned bewildered, for the souvenirs were all rather odd.

A tattered scroll, a voodoo-doll-like figurine, a rusty greatsword—none of them looked like proper souvenirs.

And as for the rest… "I'll take this one."

Before Stelle could even identify the object, Lisa snatched it at lightning speed and handed it to Marjorie.

Marjorie gave an "as expected" smile and promptly turned to wrap it up.

"Lisa, what is…" Stelle looked at her in confusion.

After all, it was a gift from Lisa; whatever it was, she ought to accept it. Yet Stelle had an inkling that whatever Lisa had just grabbed might be a bit problematic.

"Just a pair of pumpkin pants," Lisa answered with a smile after a moment's thought.

Of course, she didn't elaborate; only the shape vaguely resembled pumpkin pants. In reality they were completely different, and she couldn't go into detail.

To think Marjorie's souvenir shop would actually stock such an item… "Pumpkin pants?" Stelle looked toward Marjorie.

"Yes, these pumpkin pants are fluffy and soft—very comfortable to wear, and they really bring out a lady's… hmm, cuteness." Marjorie turned back and handed the wrapped garment to Lisa.

"Is that so…" Stelle remained skeptical; she could tell Marjorie had deliberated before choosing the word "cuteness," and the odd look Marjorie gave her hadn't escaped her notice.

"Well, wearing such childish clothes outside would be improper, but occasionally using them as pajamas at home… should be fine." Lisa licked her lips lightly, a hidden emotion flickering in her eyes as she imagined what Stelle would look like wearing them.

She seemed already lost in a fantasy of how Stelle would appear in that outfit.

"Um... th-thank you, Lisa." Stelle felt something was off, but still thanked Lisa politely.

As the title says, another hospital run today—utterly drained body and soul qwq

Still, the results look good; my body's basically back to normal.

To celebrate, I'm taking the day off—no writing. Starting tomorrow, two chapters a day again.

Anyway, that's the gist. I'll add extra updates next month—really sorry, everyone.
