Aiden stood by the window, looking at the white line in the sky. His pupils suddenly narrowed.
The dark red sky was, surprisingly, becoming bright as the white line spread.
It was nine o'clock at night!
In just a few breaths, the entire capital of the Elephant Empire was as bright as day.
The cold, dark, and chaotic energy was gone. Everything seemed back to normal, if you ignored the fact that it was still night time.
But even more surprising to Aiden was what he saw at the front of the white line—a thing that cut through the darkness. It was a long sword that looked extremely ordinary!
A sword? Could it really create such a strange scene?
Aiden turned back to look at Hazel and Gareth, hoping the two strong warriors from a hidden family would say something important.
But to Aiden's disappointment, even they looked shocked and confused.
"Is this a human divine powerhouse acting?" Gareth muttered to himself.
