The smile vanished from Eira's face. She spun around, her gaze sharp as she fixed it on Felix.
"Your Majesty, just moments ago, word came from the Sovereign City. Deputy Commander of the Imperial Guard Vance was attacked and killed. Prince Henry and Logan have gone missing."
Felix said quickly, eyes downcast as he checked the communication device in his hand.
Normally, this would be the moment the Empress of the Great Shaw Empire welcomed the hero Aiden home.
But this sudden disaster completely ruined all their plans.
The atmosphere instantly grew heavy and tense.
Gripping her Imperial Scepter tightly, Eira's beautiful face was now frozen with cold rage and killing intent.
"Vance is dead? How did he die?"
Felix replied that according to General James, who remained in the Sovereign City, strong fighters from the Evil Demons Guild must have sneaked in to ambush Vance.
