Rumble!
The ground shook, and countless bits of dust fell from the top of the tunnel.
Marcus looked serious as he moved through the darkness toward the yellow-brown light ahead.
"Captain, what happened? Was that an earthquake?" one of the soldiers finally asked.
Marcus did not answer. He just kept urging them, "Quick, keep up with Aiden!"
At once, a bad feeling rose in the hearts of the Red Dwarves royal guard soldiers.
By this time, Aiden had already reached the Grey Rat Monster, which had stopped digging the tunnel.
"Shh." The Grey Rat Monster made a gesture for silence.
Aiden did not know what was happening, so he immediately took a deep breath and focused on sensing the area carefully.
But strangely, everything around them was completely quiet. Even the insects in the soil had curled up and were not moving at all.
