A long time passed.
Suddenly, a faint smile appeared at the corner of Aiden's mouth.
"Running away?"
He slowly raised his head. There was no hesitation or confusion in his eyes, only a clear calmness, as if he had seen through everything.
"You're wrong."
"The weak and helpless version of me did exist."
"If I had not watched my companions fall right in front of me, if I had not felt that despair of being powerless..."
"How could I have gained this heart that longs to become stronger and never wavers?"
Aiden stepped forward.
He walked toward the mocking voices, toward the huge monster, one step at a time.
"Weakness is not shameful."
"It is the foundation that pushes me forward, step by step, until I stand at the very top."
"This is my true heart."
The moment he finished speaking, Aiden had already arrived before the mirror.
Without any hesitation, he took one step forward and entered the giant Mirror of Laws.
Crack—
A sharp sound of breaking rang out through the void.
