Chapter 25 - Impressive Muscles!

With the pokemon eggs now sitting in their incubators the main focus for all of us was to find strong pokemon for building our future village, but finding any strong pokemon is an issue.

I mean there are of course Geodude and their entire evolution line in the mountains behind the cliffside we live in and while they can help build things they aren't great at it without a lead pokemon in the construction process.

If I want to catch Geodudes, Gravelers and even a Golem or two I'd need a Machoke or a Timburr to lead the force for construction.

Machamp would be the best but they are rare in the wild, then again that's because of game mechanics why they could only evolve through trading but since trading can't be done they can evolve in the wild as I have seen wild Machamp back when I first arrived here.

'Unfortunately it seems that small tribe I met back then were the only ones in the area and have moved away since then.' As we have been searching for days now but with no luck so they must be all gone, or on the more gruesome spectrum they could have been killed off by other pokemon.

"Mmmhmm…." (We still can't find anything….) Lopunny said while she and the others let out a sigh trying to find the Machamp tribe.

"Still nothing huh? You guys have asked the other pokemon if they saw them?" I asked to which they nodded.

"Mankey! Mankey!" Mankey nodded her head before Lopunny told me what they learned.

Mankey asked the help of their old tribesmen and heard from some bird pokemon that the Machoke tribe crossed the other side of the river and haven't been seen again.

Hearing that made me think of one possibility, 'I hope I'm wrong but maybe they were wiped out by that Ruthless Tyrantrum that killed Pupitar's parent.'

A lot of pokemon don't like going across the river because of the dangerous and strong pokemon found in that area.

It was sad to think that they were gone but there wasn't anything I could do about it so we would have to put off looking for them and instead focus on trying to find the fairy pokemon instead.

Since that needed to be shelved and we had no clue where a fairy forest was I think it was time for an eagle eye view of the region so I called out Roaring Moon from her Pokeball.

"Kyyssshhhaaa!!!" She roared out happy to be put of her ball as I ran my hand through her hair and down her neck to calm her.

She wasn't let out as often as she gets targeted by the other ghost pokemon who are still mad at her for killing them, Flutter Mane try's and keep them in check but things are just tense is all.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pupitar would be furious if I tried and tamed the Tyranitar that kill their parent so that's why I have no intention of doing so in the first place, I mean I will capture one in the future but the one who's territory is on the other side of the river I won't go after to capture all for Pupitar's sake.

"Cmon Moon! Let's head to the sky!" I say as I hop up onto her back.

"Krrryyyysssshhhhaaaa!!!!" She roared out before flapping her wings and flying high up into the sky with me on her back.

"This world…. It's beautiful…." I couldn't help but mutter to myself as I looked upon this world before me.

From our loan Cliffside our main cave entrance faced east towards the jungle with a river streaming down from the mountains in the west moving eastward for the currents.

North of the river is extremely dense ancient jungle where the Tyrantrum was last seen and towards the south were the plains and open grassland where plenty of grazing pokemon could be found.

Further out from anywhere we had gone to the far east I know of a jungle on the otherside of the mountain range where an Alpha Arbok is known to reside.

Further west I could see what looked like swampy marshlands and thick muddy bogs, a faint purplish sheen of miasma could be visible even from here telling me that it was a rather toxic place.

Further south of the plains it turns more savanna like and finally tapers off into a desert but farther north I could see multi colored trees unlike those I have seen before, blue, pink, purple, white, it looked very…. Magical.

"There! That has to be a fairy forest!" I said as I pointed to the north, it was just past the ancient jungle and then we could search for fairy pokemon.

"Cmon Moon, let's head northwards!" I said urging her on as she roared out and began flying north while I clinged to her back so as to not fall off.

So soon enough we pasted over the river to the north and entered the territory of the Ancient Jungle, but I wasn't worried since Roaring Moon is a powerful Pokemon after all.

"Rrryyaaaahhh!!!" Though as we were flying over the Ancient Jungle suddenly we heard the cry of a Pokemon that burst out from the tree tops.

"Aerodactyl! I had a feeling this wouldn't be easy." I said as I saw Aerodactyl in full as they pierced the thick canopy.

"Ryah! Ryaaahhh!!!" But something seemed… off, it looked terrified, like it was trying to run away from something.

"Swole! Swole! SWOLE!" Suddenly another Pokemon cry was heard before another Pokemon pierced through the canopy as my eyes widened.

"Holy Shit! Is that Buzzwole?!?!" I couldn't help but shout out in alarm as I saw the muscular pokemon leaping, not flying, through the air as he(?) flew higher above the Aerodactyl before lifting his(?) elbow and did an elbow drop from the sky.

"SWOLE!"

*Crash!*

"Aaaggghhhh!!!" The Aerodactyl cried out in pain as Buzzwoles Elbow slammed into their back before they plummeted into the dense Jungle Below.

"Moon! Let's follow them!" I couldn't help but want to go see what was going on down below, after all it was Buzzwole, one of the many Ultra Beasts and while not a Legendary Pokemon they were considered semi-legendary for being Ultra Beasts.

So we dived down into the Jungle following after the Destruction that Buzzwole caused before we landed on the ground.

Though what I saw was Buzzwole injecting their needle like mouth into Aerodactyl's body as all the energy was drained out of their body leaving them looking like skin and bones, but it didn't kill them however if they were left in the wild they would be easy prey for any pokemon here.

Soon as we landed I hopped off Roaring Moons back and Buzzwole finished sucking out the energy from Aerodactyl to turn to look at us.

"Swole? Swole! Swole!" They seemed confused before rapidly doing several muscular poses to us.

But I couldn't understand, however they are known to like talking while posing to accentuate their muscles so I flexed my muscles and tapped my bicep, "Impressive Muscles!" I said before pointing at mine and theirs.

They took on a heroic pose and nodded seeming to understand what I said and very proud at that, I mean they don't have a mouth but Buzzwole is known to be proud of their muscles so I assumed that they were proud about it.

I also struck poses and they struck poses seeming to communicate with one another this way using only body poses, leaving Roaring Moon confused at what she was seeing and Aerodactyl…. Well they were out cold.

But I knew if I could befriend this Buzzwole I could have a powerful companion for our slowly building tribe of mine.
