Ethan;
"H-How long have you been dealing with this?" She asks, and I look away.
"A few days," I confess, and when I steal a glance at her, I find her lips pressed together.
"And you didn't tell me!?" She snaps, and I shut my eyes in guilt.
"I'm sorry. I just didn't want you to worry." I confess, and she exhales slowly.
Then nods once.
"…Okay. Fine. We'll figure something out." She says, andI shake my head because she might already have a misunderstanding that this is a 'simple' matter.
"It's not easy," I confess, and she blinks at me in silence. Waiting. Already bracing for the worst.
"My body… doesn't know how to function without them," I confess, and she frowns.
I shift slightly, leaning forward again, as I rest my forearms on my thighs.
"It's like…" I begin, but pause to let out a quiet breath.
