Chapter 211 - Chapter 210

Roar!!

A terrifying wave of sound swept across the entire area.

A clear, resounding dragon's roar rang through the skies.

Dragon Pressure, so dense it felt almost tangible, spread outward, and an enormous oppressive force descended on everyone present.

"So strong..."

High in the air, Himeko sat astride her flying mount, binoculars in hand. Looking down at the scene on the mountain where the Pokémon lived below, she could not help but sigh in admiration.

It had already been a month since Shiko absorbed the Dark-type items he had brought back from the Military.

During that month, they had been constantly rushing all over the Great Axia Alliance.

They had searched almost every place where Dark-type Pokémon had ever been seen or were known to inhabit.

Every time they arrived somewhere, Shiko basically did not even need to fight.

Simply by releasing the terrifying pressure that belonged to a Second-tier Legendary,

he was enough to intimidate vast numbers of Pokémon.

Then he would search for Dark-type items.

After he finished searching,

the Pokémon on site would be left to Gardevoir and Lopunny for sparring practice.

After a full month of that,

those two Pokémon had rapidly increased in level as they followed behind Shiko, constantly picking up experience through intense training.

"Still nothing?"

Through the binoculars, Himeko clearly caught sight of Shiko flying back up.

Seeing that his hands were empty and that he looked thoroughly frustrated,

she had already guessed the outcome.

"Where are we going next?"

A streak of yellow light rushed closer.

Shiko stopped in front of Himeko and waited for the next destination.

His mood was especially foul at the moment.

Over the past month, they had gone to nearly twenty places.

Half of them had been false information.

Only the other half really had small groups of Dark-type Pokémon living there.

Even so,

in all of those Dark-type habitats, he had found only two Dark Gems.

That had only raised the Dark-type law inside him by two percentage points.

Such a small improvement left him deeply dissatisfied.

"Next..."

Himeko picked up her notebook and flipped through it, checking the next location.

"There's nothing left..."

She closed the notebook, looked at Shiko, and shook her head.

"Nothing left!?"

"That's right. We've already explored every place in the entire Great Axia Alliance where Dark-type Pokémon have ever appeared. There really isn't anywhere left."

Himeko spoke calmly.

"Then what are we supposed to do?"

At this rate, even if they turned over every inch of the Great Axia Alliance, they probably still would not find a single Dark-type item.

So what were they supposed to do?

How was he supposed to fill the remaining forty-plus percent of his Dark-type law?

If he could not fill it,

then he would not be able to transform into BlackWarGreymon.

And Omegamon would remain forever out of reach as well.

He would only be able to stay stuck at the level of a Second-tier Legendary, unable to advance even a little further.

"This..."

Himeko was stumped by the problem as well.

For the moment, she could not think of any good solution either.

"What about going to the Lighthouse Alliance?"

"No. We just got a message from Minister Kenjiro two days ago. He tried once more to reopen trade negotiations with the Lighthouse Alliance on our behalf, but they're guarding their Dark-type items very tightly. They refuse to trade even a single one."

"Even if we went there ourselves, we probably wouldn't get anything good out of it."

Himeko asked herself the question and then rejected the idea as soon as it surfaced.

The atmosphere suddenly fell silent.

One human and one Pokémon stood facing each other without speaking.

Both lowered their heads and thought in silence.

"Mew!"

Shiko suddenly thought of something and raised his voice.

The next moment,

Mew's vague, illusory figure appeared beside Himeko.

After a full month of getting knocked around by Shiko,

Mew had basically had all the pride of a Second-tier Legendary completely worn away.

She now looked almost exactly like an ordinary Pokémon raised by a Trainer.

Except,

compared with Himeko,

Shiko looked much more like Mew's actual Trainer.

"Are there any ruins in the Great Axia Alliance left behind by Dark-type Pokémon?"

Shiko looked at Mew as he spoke.

Remembering what he had gone through in that ruin back then,

Shiko was now placing all of his hopes on this.

If he could find another ruin like that one,

then he could directly fill the rest of the Dark-type law he still needed and immediately transform into BlackWarGreymon.

He himself did not know the Great Axia Alliance well enough.

But Mew, a Second-tier Legendary that had lived for so long, should know the situation far better than he did.

After hearing Shiko's question,

Mew lowered her head and fell into thought.

Several minutes later, after going through everything in her memory and sorting through all the information in her mind,

she finally opened her mouth to answer.
