Sometimes effort and bravery alone can't fight off against luck. 
this was what had happened to Asta in his final battle with Lucius which ended with defeat and death. however instead of passing away to the afterlife, he ended up in the void instead. 
eventually he ended up making a contract with a being stuck in the void, receiving a second chance to live again among his friends. 
now he must fight his way through his enemies and defeat any threats to the happy ending he wanted for everyone. but will he do it or he will lose again, only time would tell.

I will be going on a short break for about 3 to 4 days since I am a little overwhelmed by work at the moment.
