The chapter begins with Moaz, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Iyad, and Mo'men walking, led by Yushiro, who—as usual—is furious.
**Moaz**, with a small smile, speaks calmly to Yushiro:
"Yushiro-san, has Tamayo-san spoken about me or mentioned anything regarding me?"
Yushiro narrows his eyes at Moaz with clear annoyance:
"Are you seriously still alive, you scoundrel?"
Moaz pretends to be hurt, placing his hand on his forehead while smirking:
"Yushiro-san, your words are harsh. If Tamayo-san hears you, she will scold you."
Yushiro clenches his fist, suppressing his irritation, but soon calms down and asks curiously:
"Where are the rest of the idiots? Your family?"
Moaz lets out a light chuckle before answering:
"My friends are chasing some thieves who stole Muhannad's money."
Yushiro rubs his forehead and sighs before looking back at Moaz:
"I assume the thieves are as good as dead? Anyway, it doesn't matter. About your little friend—he needs to understand not to touch Lady Tamayo. And that ugly creature with him, too."
Tanjiro and Moaz both turn toward what Yushiro is pointing at. He means... Nezuko is the "ugly" one. Tanjiro flares up immediately:
"What?! Who are you calling ugly? Nezuko was the greatest beauty in our village!"
**Mo'men**, with a sly grin, stands next to Nezuko:
"To be honest, she's really cute, Nezuko-chan."
Nezuko narrows her eyes slightly at Mo'men and hums:
"Ahem!"
Yushiro sighs and gestures for them to follow:
"Come along, you fools."
**Mo'men**, mockingly as they walk behind Yushiro:
"As usual, Papa Yushiro is so cranky."
Yushiro gets annoyed and snaps at Mo'men:
"Don't call me Papa! I'm nobody's father, you moron!"
Yushiro steps through the wall. Tanjiro watches in shock:
"How did he go through?"
**Iyad** and **Mo'men** both rush in quickly, saying:
"We're going to see Mama Tamayo!"
Moaz points toward the wall and gives Tanjiro an encouraging smile:
"Go on, my friend."
Tanjiro smiles and enters with Nezuko and Moaz into Tamayo's hideout.
In a side alley, **Muzan** walks alone, looking extremely enraged. He mutters to himself:
"Those two brats... how did they both dare... especially that brown-eyed idiot. He stood right in my face."
Muzan clenches his fist, remembering Moaz's gaze and his whisper in his ear: *'We are going to kill you, Kibutsuji Muzan.'*
Muzan's eyes tremble as he recalls Tanjiro's earrings:
"Could that brat be related to *that* swordsman?"
Muzan stops in the middle of the alley and raises his hand coldly:
"Both of you, appear now."
Two demons, **Susamaru** and **Yahaba**, appear. Muzan speaks in a low, chilling voice:
"I want you to kill the boy with the earrings and the young man with the brown eyes. Destroy anyone who stands in your way."
Susamaru and Yahaba both bow in obedience and depart.
(Back at Tamayo's house, Moaz, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Iyad, and Mo'men are in the treatment room with Tamayo, who was in the middle of treating the man Muzan turned.)
Tamayo turns toward the five of them and gives a small smile upon seeing Moaz, Iyad, and Mo'men:
"Hello, my little ones. You look quite healthy, especially Moaz."
Tamayo stands up, adjusting her purple floral haori, and approaches Moaz. She places her hand on his face with a motherly smile:
"I am pleased to see you safe, my dear Moaz-kun."
Moaz leans into Tamayo's touch, enjoying the affection with a small smile:
"I am pleased to see you again too, Tamayo-san."
Tamayo moves her hand from his cheek to his chest, feeling the stitching through his clothes. A look of worry flashes in her eyes, and she begins scolding him like a child:
"Have you been injured again? Come, let me examine you, you reckless boy!"
Moaz gets a bit nervous and scratches the back of his neck sheepishly:
"Well... just a few scratches."
As Tamayo takes him to the examination room, Tanjiro watches closely and talks to the others:
"Does that demon lady know Moaz-san?"
Yushiro's eyes flare up, and he slaps Tanjiro without warning, shouting angrily:
"Speak politely of Lady Tamayo!"
Tanjiro winces from the slap, rubbing his reddened cheek, while he sees Mo'men and Iyad sitting down, having already grabbed plates of food and started eating.
Yushiro turns to them, his eyes blazing:
"Wait! Mo'men, you haven't changed at all, have you?"
**Mo'men**, swallowing a large bite, looks at Yushiro:
"Is there a problem, Mr. Jealous?"
Yushiro bites his lip in anger but sighs, trying to control himself:
"This is wrong, Mo'men. That is the patients' food!"
**Mo'men**, pretending to be sick and coughing:
"I am a patient... now the food is Halal."
Both Iyad and Mo'men continue eating greedily, while Tanjiro stands by Nezuko, looking toward the room where Moaz entered with Tamayo.
Inside the room, Moaz is sitting on a chair while Tamayo sits before him. Tamayo speaks in a soft, commanding tone:
"Take off your shirt so I can examine you."
Moaz blushes slightly and lifts a small part of his shirt:
"Like this? Um?"
Tamayo gives a warm smile and waves him off:
"Don't be shy with me, my little one."
Moaz nods and removes his shirt. Tamayo's eyes widen as she sees...
"It can't be!"
Moaz's body is covered in a giant scar stretching from his chest to his right torso. Furthermore, broken ribs are still in the process of healing, along with scattered scars and scratches.
Tamayo places her hand worriedly on the sword wound:
"How were you struck by this, my child?"
Moaz notices her concern and smiles playfully as if it's nothing:
"Just a surface wound."
Tamayo is annoyed by his response. She takes Moaz's face in her hands, bringing it close to hers, and looks into his eyes:
"A simple wound? Do not lie. I am certain you suffered a terrifying tear."
Moaz is taken aback. As he looks into Tamayo's eyes, it's as if he's seeing his own past. He mutters to himself:
*That look?*
He sees an image of his mother—a woman with brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin, and a soft voice. A worried, gentle voice echoes in his mind:
*'No, don't try to hide things from me. I am your mother; I am the one who fears for you the most.'*
Moaz shakes his head quickly, putting his hand to his head as he begins to sweat and panic:
"Mom... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry."
He stumbles back. Tamayo's eyes widen as she sees him spiraling into a hysterical state. She reaches out to calm him, touching his cheek:
"My child? Are you alright? I am right here with you."
Moaz breathes heavily, his breath ragged, but then he begins to relax:
"Alright... Mom."
Moaz relaxes in Tamayo's arms like a child, closing his eyes. Tamayo holds him, gently rubbing his back while smiling:
"Relax now."
After a while, Moaz calms down completely and falls asleep. Tamayo leaves him to rest on the bed:
"Rest, Moaz-kun. You carry so much."
She strokes his head gently and leaves the room. While in his sleep, Moaz mutters with a tear in his eye:
"Mom... I'm tired."
Later, Tamayo sits with Yushiro by her side, facing Iyad, Mo'men, Tanjiro, and Nezuko. They begin discussing demons and Nezuko.
Tamayo, with calm seriousness:
"The progenitor of demons, the founder of all these troubles... Kibutsuji Muzan."
**Mo'men**, with a sly smile:
"Isn't he the same guy Uncle Yoriichi turned into the finest Shawarma?"
Tamayo looks at Mo'men in shock:
"That happened centuries ago. How do you know that?"
Mo'men shrugs, smiling:
"Moaz is the one who knows. Also, you love—"
Before Mo'men can finish his sentence, **Iyad** shoves a rice ball into Mo'men's mouth and smiles nervously:
"Don't mind him. Mo'men is crazy sometimes. Don't forget, he's just a kid."
Tamayo is still suspicious but sighs and continues talking to Tanjiro as in the anime:
"So, Tanjiro-kun, you are telling me your sister does not eat humans? That is truly fascinating."
Tanjiro nods, his eyes filled with determination and confidence:
"Yes, my sister Nezuko does not eat people."
The conversation continues, and every time Tanjiro gets close to Tamayo... well, Yushiro hits him, shouting, "Don't touch Lady Tamayo!"
Tanjiro, lying on the floor after Yushiro's hit, looks at Tamayo:
"I have a question... Tamayo-san? Do you know Moaz-san's secrets?"
Tamayo pauses before answering:
"No. I am trying to learn his secrets myself."
Yushiro says sharply, pointing his thumb at Iyad:
"We have his little brother here. He will tell us."
Iyad gets nervous and points to himself:
"Me? But..."
Tamayo looks at Iyad and smiles gently:
"Iyad-kun, this is so we can help your older brother."
Under the pressure and thought, Iyad prepares to speak:
"Fine. My older brother's past is..."
Before he can finish the sentence, the house shakes. Susamaru and Yahaba are attacking Tamayo's home. **Mo'men** screams with sarcastic madness:
"Of course! The 'delayed-past' plot convenience! Haha!"
Tanjiro prepares for battle as the wall collapses, revealing Susamaru and Yahaba.
**Susamaru**, with a voice dripping with mockery and a twisted laugh:
"Now, it's time for a prize catch!"
**Yahaba**, with his eyes closed and a smirk:
"Yes. We shall kill everyone."
As Tanjiro gets ready, Mo'men and Iyad are tense. Mo'men screams:
"Where is the rest of our team?!"
