By the time the three of them arrived, large numbers of Sand Shinobi had already begun fighting the Ichibi.
"Kakashi, this is a rare opportunity. Want to try fighting a Tailed Beast?" Uchiha En turned and asked.
Kakashi didn't refuse. He pulled up his forehead protector, revealing his Sharingan, then drew his short sword. He first infused Lightning Release Chakra into the short sword, and the Lightning Release Chakra instantly enveloped it.
With Obito's Sharingan, Kakashi's Chidori was perfected. Following guidance from Uchiha En, Kakashi also completed the development of Chidori's derivative Ninjutsu, incorporating his own understanding into these derivative techniques.

A few minutes later, Rasa returned to the battlefield, accompanied by a child of about twelve or thirteen years old.
During this time, Uchiha En continuously attacked Shukaku, constantly destroying its body to prevent it from recovering.
Uchiha En glanced at the sleeping Gaara, then used the Electromagnetic Rasengan again, shattering a large section of Shukaku's body.
Uchiha En then began preparing the seal. The basic seal was the Four Symbols Seal, and Uchiha En added other Sealing Jutsu formulas within the Four Symbols Seal for reinforcement.
Subsequently, Uchiha En sealed the recovering Ichibi into Gaara's body using the reinforced Four Symbols Seal.
To be safe, Uchiha En added a layer of Eye power to the outer formula of the Four Symbols Seal.
This layer of Eye power would ensure that Gaara would not be disturbed by Shukaku's Chakra until he was three years old.
After three years old, Gaara would begin refining Chakra, and the Eye power would naturally dissipate.
Once the sealing was complete, Uchiha En picked up Gaara and handed him over to Rasa.
"It's done, Kazekage-sama. The sealing is complete. This is the best I can do. I leave the child in your care."
Rasa nodded, called over the twelve or thirteen-year-old child, handed Gaara to him, and instructed, "Yashamaru, you must take good care of Gaara."
