Right in front of Yohan, Alastair lowered himself by kneeling before the man. He had never once knelt before anyone, due to his excessive pride and arrogance.
However, this time was different. He was willing to lower himself just to beg for a chance to meet Silas. He desperately wanted to see the boy again after learning that the boy was actually his son.
"Al, you don't need to kneel like that! Get up quickly!" said Kenneth, who had just regained his composure after being stunned by the sight.
However, Alastair didn't heed his cousin's words and remained on his knees.
"I beg you. Let me see him again. I swear I won't take him away or even try to persuade him to come with me. At least let me hug him now that I know who he is," Alastair pleaded.
"Al, I said hurry—"
"SHUT UP!" Alastair snapped at Kenneth quite harshly, telling him to be quiet.
