Chapter 2 - The Party Ambush

At the Party:

Suman calls Diya, slurring her words, asking to be picked up because she had far too much to drink. Diya answers immediately, her voice urgent. "Don't hang up! Stay on the line, I'm on my way."

Shubham, overhearing the panic, stands up. "Diya, I'm coming with you."

"Okay, let's go," Diya replies, grabbing her keys. "God knows what kind of trouble she's getting herself into this time."

Arrival at the Scene:

When Diya and Shubham reach the location, the atmosphere doesn't feel like a party at all. There is an eerie, unsettling tension in the air. Just as they are trying to process the scene, a deafening BANG echoes through the night—a gunshot.

Both of them freeze, trembling with fear. They can't wrap their heads around what is happening.

"Diya... you think Suman is okay?" Shubham asks, his voice shaking.

Diya doesn't answer immediately; she is deep in thought, scanning the area. Suddenly, they spot several black vans pulling up. They realize instantly that they are facing a major threat.

The Plan:

"I'm going inside to check," Diya whispers firmly. "You stay here and keep the scooty running. As soon as I come out with Suman, we're gone."

Shubham looks at her with a mix of fear and respect. "Diya, please... be careful."

Note: Shubham lets Diya go in alone not because he is a coward, but because he trusts her quick instincts—and he knows that if they need to make a fast getaway, someone must be ready at the vehicle to avoid being trapped.

Inside the Building:

Diya creeps inside. The entire place is deathly silent. She moves further into the shadows and peeks into a room, where she sees a group of men dressed entirely in black. She searches frantically for Suman, but she is nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly, Diya's phone starts ringing loudly. It's Suman calling.

"There! There's a girl! Catch her!" a voice shouts from the room.

Diya bolts. The men are hot on her heels. As she runs, she hears one of them yell, "Throw the other girls into the van!"

Hearing this, Diya realizes she can't just save Suman—she has to help those other girls too. Thinking quickly, she intentionally fakes a trip and falls to the ground, hoping to create a distraction or a chance to strike back.
