Mo Sheng scratched his long red hair and replied to Scarlet King:
"Well, the reason is that there was the will of a Great Emperor preventing us from reaching the Reverse Demonic Dimensions, and the Great Ancestor was trying to open a spacetime rift to transport us. But suddenly, Yu Ru Meng sensed a message from one of the Saintesses, so she opened a gate and came here, and I followed behind her."
Scarlet King was not surprised, giving no reaction beyond silence.
From afar, he heard the voices of the Yin and Yang Guards, along with Lin Yuan:
"Master!!"
Yang Guard appeared and grabbed Scarlet King's bleeding hand.
"Master, who did this to you?! We will take revenge!"
Scarlet King raised his hand and said:
"Hegemon's Touch."
Yang Guard felt an energy wrap around him and asked:
"Hegemon's Touch? Waaah—"
Yang Guard was blasted away with force, crashing into one of the rocks and getting stuck inside it.
Yin Guard and Lin Yuan appeared, while Yin Guard bowed slightly.
"Greetings, Great Master."
Mo Sheng asked, placing a hand on his chin:
"Are these your new followers?"
Scarlet King replied with a cold expression:
"Have you not heard of the Yin and Yang Guards?"
Surprise appeared on Mo Sheng's face.
"Oh, yes, I have heard of them!"
Scarlet King looked at Lin Yuan and asked:
"What are you doing here?"
Lin Yuan was startled and stammered as sweat began pouring down his face:
"Well… I wanted to go to the laboratory, and I noticed the Yin and Yang Guards leaving, so I went with them."
Yin Guard looked at Yu Ru Meng and the Saintess of Darkness.
"Are those two Saintesses?"
Mo Sheng and Scarlet King replied in one voice:
"Correct."
Lin Yuan looked at Yu Ru Meng curiously, dazzled by her beauty, then asked:
"Who are the Saintesses? And also… is that Yu Ru Meng?"
Scarlet King pointed at them with his finger and replied:
"The Saintesses belong to the realm above the Great Emperor Realm, which is called the Sacred Supreme Saintliness Realm. It can be shortened to Supreme Saints."
"They hold authority over all dimensions, whether demonic or classical."
"There are twenty-two Supreme Saintesses and one Supreme Saint, and they are responsible for reconstructing the dimensions after an era collapses."
"Their power is not restricted by the laws of the dimensions."
"Currently, Mo Sheng is at the first level of the Demonic Marshal Realm. Even so, the laws of the dimensions, specifically the Law of Structural Suppression, are suppressing his level to the peak of the Demonic Soldier Realm."
"A difference of nearly forty or fifty realms has been suppressed."
"And yet, the Saintesses are not restricted by this law… or by any law belonging to the dimensions."
Lin Yuan stared stupidly at Yu Ru Meng, still dazzled by her beauty, then asked:
"What is an era?"
Scarlet King replied while thinking:
(This fool only cares about women.)
"Existential eras are previous dimensions."
"The twenty-two dimensions collapse, then they are reconstructed by the Saintesses and the Saint."
"They are considered the lifespan of existence and the dimensions."
"The more chaos increases, the shorter the era's lifespan becomes."
"The more order increases, the shorter the era's lifespan becomes as well."
"Balance… is what extends the lifespan of an era."
Mo Sheng asked with curiosity:
"Very well, what era are we in now?"
Scarlet King replied:
"Do not be shocked by the astronomical number."
"The current era is era number: twenty-two sextillion, eight hundred thirty-six quintillion, eight hundred thirty-seven quadrillion, six hundred eighty-eight trillion, three hundred nineteen billion, eight hundred twelve million, seven hundred forty-seven thousand, four hundred eighty-seven, one hundred eighty-two million, sixty-two thousand, one hundred seventy-nine trillion, three hundred seventy-nine billion, three hundred twenty-two."
"And in this era, I have died perhaps nine or ten times."
"We are now at the final beginning of the era, and soon we will begin the middle of the era."
Lin Yuan asked:
"So… is that why powerful beings from higher dimensions do not descend to lower dimensions because of the Law of Structural Suppression? Also, what is the average lifespan of an era?"
Mo Sheng and Scarlet King answered in one voice:
"No."
Mo Sheng continued:
"There is a law called the Baseline Law, and it is the one that prevents people from descending in the first place."
"It observes your intent before allowing you to descend into the dimensions."
"And any destructive desire… causes you to be prevented from descending."
"As for the Law of Structural Suppression, it is a law subordinate to the Baseline Law."
"It is responsible for suppressing your level so the dimension's will does not reject you."
"Because when someone reaches the final three levels of the highest realm that exists, the dimension's will tries to forcefully expel them to a higher dimension."
"Therefore, the Law of Structural Suppression suppresses your level so you can move comfortably inside the dimension without the dimension's will trying to expel you."
"But if your level is too high and you descend into an extremely low dimension, then the Law of Structural Suppression fails to suppress your level comfortably."
"And the Baseline Law… is one of the great sub-concepts."
Suddenly, Mo Sheng began floating in the air and continued:
"This is an example."
"The dimension's will is trying to expel me."
Scarlet King raised his hand.
"Hegemon's Touch."
The technique suppressed the dimension's will, which was slowly trying to expel Mo Sheng. But in the future, that would turn into a violent and powerful expulsion that could not be prevented.
Mo Sheng descended and looked at Scarlet King.
"Thank you, my… daughter's fiancé."
Scarlet King's gaze moved sharply toward Mo Sheng, and his eyes became uncomfortable.
"What? Should I call you father-in-law now?"
Mo Sheng laughed lightly while thinking:
(Is that a threat, or is he mocking me?)
Scarlet King continued:
"And the average lifespan of an era is…"
"One, followed by a zero the size of a googolplex, multiplied by another googolplex."
Lin Yuan asked:
"What is the division of universes and dimensions?"
Mo Sheng replied:
"I will not explain the division of dimensions and what lies beyond dimensions to you right now, because it is useless to you."
"You will not understand what the region beyond nothingness is, who the Chaos Clan are, or the division of the immortal dimensions."
He continued, closing his eyes and pointing toward one of the nearby universes:
"Every universe is an independent frame within the dimension, but it remains subject to the laws of the dimension."
"Every universe contains an infinite number of narratives, which are independent and actual worlds, stories, and events."
"Each world is independent in itself, with its own laws, concepts, and inhabitants."
"Each narrative contains an infinite number of timelines."
"Each timeline contains an infinite number of possibilities."
"Each possibility contains an infinite number of narratives."
"And so on, infinitely."
"And between them, there is an overwhelming qualitative superiority from one narrative to another."
"When you transcend the narrative of a lower story, you ascend to a higher narrative."
"After that, you may transcend the narrative of the universe and become part of the general mortal narrative."
"Because transcending a narrative does not mean absolute power."
"Wrong."
"You are still part of the general mortal narrative."
"And the mortal dimensions are a container for the general mortal narrative, which contains everything within the mortal dimensions."
"After the mortal dimensions come the immortal dimensions, which transcend all narratives, fiction, reality, and stories, standing above all of that in an overwhelmingly superior way."
He looked toward another universe.
"And this universe contains the same structural form, but with different laws."
"Every universe possesses its own laws, structure, form, matter, reality, and imagination, different from another universe."
"In the Second Dimension, every universe contains an infinite number of internal universes with the same structure."
"In the Third Dimension, every universe contains an infinite number of universes, and every internal universe contains an infinite number of inner internal universes."
"And so on until the Eleventh Dimension."
"The form of universes is divided into two types: either a planet the size of a universe, meaning it looks like a universe from the outside but contains only one world inside…"
"Or a normal universe, with stars and galaxies."
Lin Yuan replied with a simple, empty response:
"Huh?"
Mo Sheng slapped his forehead and said:
"You fool… you could not even understand information children know?"
Yang Guard came out of the meteor and stood beside Yin Guard. He looked at her chest and said:
"What are you looking at, you pervert?!"
Yin Guard slapped Yang Guard, grabbed him, and began beating him.
Meanwhile, Scarlet King looked at Mo Sheng, and the two sighed together, thinking:
(They still have a long road ahead before they can get along.)
Suddenly, Scarlet King took out the scroll he had obtained from Stephen Gill, an ancient scroll written in a strange language.
"Mo Sheng, look at this… is this not the language of the immortal dimensions?"
