Chapter 167 - Chapter 169 Triggering a high-level professional frogman? A mysterious man!

The first High-Tier Class: Frogman? Mysterious Person!

A bizarre scene.

Lyle's pupils contracted slightly. What kind of demi-human was this, or rather, was it an alien species entirely?

"Yah ah—"

The head enveloped in white mist let out a piercing sonic shriek.

Layers of sound waves spread out visibly to the naked eye.

The Flame Archangel that had charged forward was directly shaken back.

"Human, leave this place, and I will not pursue your invasion of my territory."

The Twin Witches trembled all over, the leaves wrapped around their bodies rustling. Their bright yellow eyes looked at Lyle with apprehension.

However, in the deepest part of their eyes, there was a hint of disappointment.

The opponent was capable of destroying five great Lizardman tribes, so his strength must be immense, but... *whoosh!*

The misty head that had emerged from her chest continued to extend outwards, followed by an entire figure that emerged from the Twin Witch's body and sprawled on the ground.

"Your voice is too unpleasant, sister," the figure wrapped in white mist stood up from the ground, its voice tinged with a sense of weakness, speaking in a low, hoarse tone.

At this moment!

Two figures appeared before Lyle: one wrapped in dense leaves, the other in thick mist.

"The way you look now, that's the true Twin Witches, isn't it?" Lyle looked at the two figures, a hint of surprise flashing across his face, then he spoke calmly:

"Leave? It's not impossible. Hand over that treasure of the Lizardmen."

"So you were attracted by that item, the Magic Cauldron." The Mist Witch let out a hoarse, cold laugh, her yellow eyes fixed on Lyle with resentment.

"Die, human!"

A piercing roar rang out.

The Mist Witch leaped, pouncing towards the Flame Archangel positioned between the two sides. Her body, enveloped in mist, displayed unusual lightness.

"Magic Armor." The Leaf Witch waved a ball of green light, enveloping the Mist Witch.

The Flame Archangel swung its flaming sword, striking the Mist Witch, but it was blocked by a flash of magic armor that appeared on her body.

Just as the Flame Archangel was about to swing its magic sword again, the Mist Witch not only showed no signs of retreating but continued to pounce towards the Flame Archangel.

In a blink of an eye!

The Mist Witch collided with the Flame Archangel's shiny silver armor.

However.

The expected collision did not occur. The Mist Witch, in an incredible state, actually drilled into the Flame Archangel's body.

The next moment.

The Flame Archangel's attack paused, and it turned its body, charging towards Lyle.

Lyle glanced at his attribute panel, which showed no prompts, and frowned slightly.

He became increasingly curious about the Twin Witches' race. Judging by the strength they displayed, their level was indeed not high, but their various abilities were extremely bizarre.

*Whoosh!*

The Flame Archangel beside Lyle flapped its wings, immediately moving to intercept and colliding with the controlled Flame Archangel.

"Strength Weakness!" The Leaf Witch's hands emitted magical light, aimed at the Flame Archangel.

The Flame Archangel battling the Mist Witch suddenly slowed down considerably. After only a few swings, it was shattered by the Flame Archangel controlled by the Mist Witch, turning into specks of light and dissipating.

The Mist Witch continued to control the Flame Archangel, charging forward.

"Such an ability is indeed interesting, but if these are your only tricks, then this boring battle ends here."

Lyle scoffed, his sleeve fluttering.

Dazzling white light bloomed in the forest.

A massive three-meter-tall figure condensed. The Watchful Archangel, with a shield on its left arm and a short hammer in its right hand, appeared above Lyle.

"Holy Strike!"

The Watchful Archangel abruptly raised the short hammer in its hand, and its figure flashed, already appearing before the controlled Flame Archangel.

An invisible pressure permeated and surged forth.

This caused the controlled Flame Archangel's movements to stiffen, and even the Leaf Witch behind it showed a look of terror on her face.

"Strength Weakness!"

Two voices rang out simultaneously.

The Leaf Witch's magic attack landed on the Watchful Archangel, slowing its hammer-swinging motion slightly.

Meanwhile, the Flame Archangel, under the Mist Witch's control, began to swell and grow larger.

Boom!

The short hammer and the flaming sword collided, emitting a deafening roar. The powerful shockwave spread out, shaking all the leaves from the surrounding trees in the forest, and even dispersing some of the distant mist.

The Flame Archangel only lasted for a moment before being blasted apart by a single strike, turning into white specks of light and dissipating.

The Mist Witch was also blasted out from the scattered light, crashing onto the ground and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Even the thick mist wrapped around her dissipated along with it.

A demi-human appeared before Lyle: its skin was completely pale, its body gaunt and slender, somewhat similar in appearance to a human, but with pointed ears and a somewhat ferocious face.

At a glance.

Its appearance was somewhat similar to that of the Naga, but its lower body was not a snake's tail but rather human-like legs.

When Lyle saw its form, the word 'banshee' flashed through his mind, but then he felt it wasn't quite the same as the banshees of legend.

'Discovered class skill "Enlarge", requires basic spellcaster class "Witch", current conditions not met...'

'"Genius" class activated, successfully converted, learning conditions met. Do you wish to spend 1 skill point to learn?'

Information appeared on the attribute panel.

Witch?

Lyle remembered that among the spellcaster classes he possessed, there was a "Wizard," and now a "Witch" had appeared.

Especially the class skill "Enlarge" possessed by the Witch, which happened to be opposite to the class skill "Shrink" possessed by the Wizard.

The Wizard was a mental-type spellcaster class, and this Witch before him should also be a mental-type spellcaster.

This thought flashed through his mind.

"Learn."

As he mastered the skill, Lyle was just about to continue pressuring the Twin Witches to figure out where the Lizardmen's magic cauldron was when suddenly...

Lyle felt the magic power within him become restless, and a somewhat astonishing force seemed to be brewing inside him.

The next moment!

The attribute panel vibrated.

Buzz—

'High-Tier Class acquisition conditions triggered!'

'Magic System Spellcasting Level 15Lv met, Faith System Spellcasting Level 15Lv met, Mental System Spellcaster Level 15Lv met, Other System Spellcaster Level 15Lv met'

'Four spellcasting system levels meet 15Lv, triggering High-Tier Class — Mad Mage!'

'Do you wish to take up the profession?'

The sudden appearance of the High-Tier Class job conditions made Lyle momentarily stunned. He had never expected a High-Tier Class to appear in such a situation!

While Lyle was still in a daze...

"Ah!!!"

A cry of agony came from the front.

The Mist Witch, who had been sent flying, spat out blood, clutched her stomach, and curled up, letting out painful shrieks.

"Sister!" The Leaf Witch quickly bent down, looking at the Mist Witch with concern.

Then, she frantically pulled out a bottle of poor-quality, translucent glass potion from her pocket and poured it into the Mist Witch's mouth.

Lyle was somewhat surprised to see her struggling in pain.

The attack from the Serene Archangel would indeed injure the Mist Witch, but it shouldn't have caused such a scream.

This kind of scream was more like... Lyle's eyes widened abruptly, and then an incredible expression appeared on his face.

He saw that her previously flat belly had rapidly swelled up, causing the Mist Witch to let out another shrill scream.

If it were just that, it would have been fine.

But a hint of green appeared inside the Mist Witch's pale belly, and then her belly was directly torn open, and a frogman, covered in translucent liquid, crawled out of the ruptured stomach.

It swayed unsteadily as it stood up from the ground, its fist-sized, eerie eyes showing a blank stare.

Seeing this scene before him,

Lyle greatly doubted if he was hallucinating. A frogman had actually been born from within another species' body?

The problem was.

Due to the racial characteristics of frogmen, shouldn't they first turn into tadpoles and then slowly grow into frogmen? It was precisely because of this unique growth process that...

Frogmen do not possess concepts like hierarchy or kinship, which normal races have.

Wait, wait!

Frogman?

Lyle's eyes narrowed, and his expression instantly became vigilant.

He suddenly remembered the Cave Lizardmen's previous remark, "Don't kill the frogmen," and the Twin Witches' deliberate act of having the Cave Lizardmen provoke him, all of which seemed peculiar.

Especially this situation before him!

Could it be—

A thought stirred in Lyle's mind. The Watchful Archangel hovering in mid-air immediately withdrew to his side, and at the same time, he tore open a Tier 3 magic scroll.

Bang!

White light flashed.

A Flame Archangel appeared and immediately charged towards the frogman.

However.

The Flame Archangel had only flown halfway, and before it could even approach the frogman, a blue lightning ball shot out from deep within the distant dense forest.

It instantly struck the Flame Archangel.

Bang!

The Flame Archangel was shattered by a single magic attack, turning into specks of light and disappearing.

"You people of the Slane Theocracy are truly as annoying as ever."

A cold, disgusted voice came from deep within the dense forest:

"You're surprised, aren't you? This is a great work. You should feel honored to witness the birth of new life with your own eyes."
