"No, I get it. " You are a wolf, you can kill sometimes, I guess," he shrugs, reaching for his cup, but he doesn't even get to reach it before Travis takes that other hand, now both in his grasp.
He doesn't fight or try to pull away.
In fact, he craves to be nearer.
"Being a wolf doesn't mean you get to be a murderer."
"I know, I get what you are saying," Day frowns.
"Do you?" Travis asks, a certain dark look settling in his eyes. He knows that look. Seen it several times that they were in their mating after effects.
It makes a tremor run down his spine and curl around his gut, settling there.
Simmering.
"I know that … things can happen when you would … I don't know, hurt someone."
Travis looks at him some more, before he breaks into a charming grin, the dark skies clearing, and the sun is out again.
Travis pulls him even closer, and by now he is practically on his lap, but he doesn't want to think about that.
