"there is nothing I love more than shopping. Got a problem? Shop! Your head is aching and you need a stress reliever? Shop!"
The bags swing as Day gestures around, hops swinging as they walk down the street, Rain in tow.
"Why did we have to buy all of this though?" Rain asks as he raises the bags a little to look inside again.
"Asking the wrong questions again, my love," Day sing songs as he stops abruptly when he sees a shop he wants to get in.
"The whole reason as to why it's called retail shopping isn't to ask why I need things or not
It's simply for pleasure and to buy happiness," he says, smiling as he turns to look at his friend.
"Are you unhappy?" Rain asks, concern tinging his voice.
"Rain," Day sighs and craddles his cheek. "You are simply too pure and too innocent to be sucked in this world. I intend to keep it that way.
"But in the mean time, I need this, so come. Let's abuse the credit card that my mom gets an aneurism when she sees the receipts sent to her. "
