As the two were about to be consumed by the destruction program, the machine suddenly stopped.
A crowd of staff swarmed over.
There were also the voices of father and mother, sounding very anxious.
"Xiao Xi, where are you?"
Xiao Xi crawled out from the heap of garbage, her face lit up with delight, but she was afraid of being punished if her parents found out she had sneaked out, so she hesitated to move forward.
Fortunately, the staff quickly located her, and together with her father and mother, brought her back.
Once her parents confirmed she was alright, they breathed a sigh of relief. Though they did not punish her severely, they forbade her from going out, effectively putting her under house arrest.
Xiao Xi returned home and saw her sister Xiao Xue was still safe and sound, appearing as charming and lovely as ever.
And Xiao Xue, seeing her return, was obviously surprised, her eyes avoiding hers, seemingly not expecting her to come back unharmed.
