Little Stone frantically ran forward with Xiao Xi, but as they were about to escape, they were discovered by the people from the laboratory.
A large number of pursuers came after them, including Xiao Xi's parents.
The parents at this moment had none of the usual gentleness and love; they were fierce and savage, making Xiao Xi feel a deep fear—so unfamiliar, so terrifying.
Even as they fled desperately, how could two children possibly be a match for these pursuers.
Little Scorpion wanted to cover Xiao Xi's escape, struggling to shield her.
But he was simply too weak, beaten back to his original form by those Beastmen, gravely injured on the ground, his life or death unknown.
"Little Stone!"
Xiao Xi's eyes instantly turned red. She cried as she held the gravely injured Little Scorpion to her chest, continuing to run towards the exit with it. Unfortunately, she was eventually captured.
