Chapter 235 - Chapter 235: Damian’s Artistic Soul Is Longing to Be Sated

Underground base in Goldenrod City.

Carr wears a creepy look, staring at the phone he just hung up from, deep in thought.

"Has Lord Damian given any orders? Or is he heading back to Johto?" Sird watches Carr, puzzled.

Though she hates Carr's arrogance and swagger, his current expression is really strange.

If you had to describe it, it's like seeing a ghost.

She'd never seen Carr look like this before.

"No, not yet. He should be coming back soon, but…" Carr comes back to himself, resting his chin on his hand with his elbow propped up.

"Sird, send someone to secretly take over the Radio Tower. Do it discreetly, don't let the League find out."

After a moment, Carr gives the order to Sird.

"Huh?" Sird is taken aback. take over Radio Tower? take over a broadcasting tower—what use would that have?

Golden Tower is one of the largest broadcasting towers in Kanto; it's easy to expose, and once Indigo League discovers it, they'll come down hard.

Besides, what benefit is there to Team Rocket from a broadcast tower? It's a lot of work for little gain.

"No need to go through the trouble; this is Lord Damian's command." Carr answers impatiently.

"Understood."

A shadow passes through Sird's eyes. Carr, this guy!

We need to hurry. Sird is really starting to lose patience with this Stinky Shorty attitude.

When Damian returns, she plans to reveal her spy identity to Damian and express her loyalty!

Team Galactic? Not going back to that; Team Rocket is the future!

And as long as she doesn't have to hide who she is, she can handle Carr with her abilities—easy as pie.

As for why Damian would take in her as a Team Galactic spy, Sird is confident, because she carries a very rare Pokémon.

Exactly, because this Pokémon is too powerful to control, handing it over to Damian would be the best move.

A day later, Unova Region, Damian's Castle, by the backyard pool.

"More or less secure now."

Damian lies on a lounge, watching Elesa swimming in the pool.

Unova's enterprises are basically online and have gained legal recognition from the Unova League.

As for Unova official promotions, Alder hasn't replied yet. According to him, last night in the conference room, Unova League upper echelon argued fiercely about this matter.

Fifty billion is well within the Unova League's budget, given that it's such a vast region with money to spare.

Legalizing Team Rocket's enterprises is at least tolerable, since Hoenn did it first.

Hoenn did it, so Unova can do it again; the losses from going to war with Team Rocket are too great.

But promoting Team Rocket enterprises through Unova League promotions…

The Unova League lawmakers simply cannot tolerate that; it would be like Team Rocket riding on their heads, pissing on them, disrespecting them.

So last night's Unova conference room was really loud.

Some resisted firmly; others said they could accept; some tried to mediate to avoid a fight.

But this doesn't affect Damian much—whether or not there are promotions for their enterprises, Damian doesn't care too much.

After all, promotions would increase exposure and boost sales.

But they aren't strictly necessary; just having some promotions would be ideal.

"Mr. Damian, are you headed back to Kanto?"

Anthea asks in a soft voice, her hand smoothly massaging his thigh as she wonders.

She just saw him searching for a ticket to Kanto.

"Yeah, once Team Plasma is taken down and Unova League has bowed, we'll head back after a few more days."

Damian nods, pulls Anthea up into his arms, and feeling the soft body in his embrace, he brushes her pale cheek.

"Want to come back with me?"

Damian smiles, honestly enjoying this castle where Anthea and Concordia have been serving him for a while.

It's really something else.

"If Mr. Damian wants to bring us along, we'd be happy to."

Anthea's pretty face reddens, her pink-dyed hair making her even more alluring as she responds in a soft voice.

Kanto Region, home of the Pokémon League headquarters.

For outsiders like Anthea, Kanto is incredibly appealing.

And then…

She and Concordia are relatively traditional women; their bodies have already been given to Damian, and they've learned many things at his urging; naturally they'll accompany him.

"Then come with me. Unova can wait; we'll visit when we have time."

Damian doesn't hesitate.

Unova Region is just one of Team Rocket's flags; he's not going to base there.

"Mm~" Anthea's eyes shimmer with sweetness, a gentle gaze that's hard to resist.

Damian's unhesitating attitude pleases Anthea; it signals he's not just using them for pleasure, he seems to care.

Somewhere, Elesa at the poolside glances over with a complex look, having overheard their conversation.

Damian is about to return to Kanto, which means she'll be "free" soon.

But still, Elesa feels something a bit special.

Elesa bites her lip, stands up, grabs a towel to wipe her face, and heads toward the bath.

Soon enough.

"Damian."

N approaches; seeing Anthea lying in Damian's arms, his gentle expression leaves him with mixed feelings.

He had already suspected there was something special between his two supposed sisters and Damian.

Now it seems clear that Anthea and Concordia have that kind of closeness with Damian.

But it doesn't look like a romantic girlfriend thing?

N still cares about Anthea and Concordia; they've grown up with him, and N knows they genuinely care about him.

He decides he needs to talk to them.

In his view, Anthea and Concordia are both strikingly beautiful, and in personality they're refined, elegant, and poised.

Even without blood ties, they're his sisters; N thinks it's only right for them to strive for Damian's affection, and he'll fully back them.

"What's up, N?"

Damian asks curiously.

"Subordinate report, we found the Abundant Shrine's location."

"Oh? That's good news."

Damian's eyes light up slightly; Abundant Shrine is the shrine of the Guardian of the Fields.

The Guardian of the Fields is Landorus, one of the Incarnate Forces.

Legend says Landorus appears amid the whirlwinds and lightning of the Incarnate Forces to calm the storms, and after the storms the land will be bountiful.

Another saying is that the land it visits yields a great harvest.

That's Landorus's legend; unlike the nasty reputations of Thundurus and Tornadus, Landorus's legends are all positive.

To some extent, aside from Enamorus, the other three Incarnate Forces resemble the Hoenn Super-ancient Pokémon in form.

When Thundurus and Tornadus clash, Landorus Descends to intervene—this plot feels familiar.

In some sense, Landorus's strength is among the higher tiers of ordinary Legendary Pokémon.

Since they've already taken Thundurus and Tornadus, there's no reason not to bring in Landorus and Enamorus.

But Enamorus's movements are hard to pin down; Landorus has an Abundant Shrine, which Damian remembers.

If it weren't for the absence of the Swords of Justice locations, Damian might have packed them too.

Though Damian himself isn't keen on them, he could keep them around, waiting for a Team Rocket recruit to take them, a win-win.

"Has Enamorus's location been found yet?"

"Not yet; we haven't collected any locations."

N shakes his head; compared to Landorus, Tornadus, and Thundurus, Enamorus's location is the most mysterious.

Only a few records mention Enamorus.

"Fine." Damian nods; legendary movements are hard to track anyway, especially with no clues.

But that's fine; having Landorus's Abundant Shrine location is already good.

Damian doesn't delay; after lunch, he sets out with Caitlin and Elesa.

According to a Team Rocket subordinate's investigation, the Abundant Shrine lies on a sea island called Milos Island.

There's something slightly odd here: Milos Island appears in the anime; Milos refers to Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus—the Incarnate Forces.

In reality there's also Enamorus, but the anime didn't have Enamorus; Enamorus appears in Legends: Arceus.

Nevertheless, it still works; Enamorus is the least documented of the Incarnate Forces, and the people on Milos Island wouldn't know Enamorus, hence Milos Island has no Enamorus Shrine.

Also, some say Enamorus is Landorus's female counterpart; maybe their shrines are shared?

But if so, would Landorus and Enamorus be roaming together all the time?

Milos Island isn't a very large island; on the main island there are two smaller islands that belong to Thundurus and Tornadus.

"This place has a nice vibe."

Walking along a forest path, Damian moves with easy, leisurely steps.

Milios Island isn't heavily populated; it's a bit sparse, and the Abundant Shrine location is quite deep.

Damian isn't in a rush; he has plenty of time.

But not long after, Damian raises a brow, looking ahead with surprise at three figures approaching from a side path: Steven, Wallace, Alder.

What a coincidence!

Damian notes that his vision keeps circling over the three of them, finally landing on Wallace and Alder.

Damian's lips curl upward.

"Caitlin, you still have quite a few clothes in your bag, right?"

Damian asks Caitlin abruptly, his artistic soul already brimming with desire.

"Uh, yes."

Caitlin sees Alder and the three of them, instantly understanding Damian's meaning.

"Excellent, looks like my artist account can be updated."

Damian nods in satisfaction.

artist account?

Elesa freezes at that; what does that mean?
