A very firm and authoritative baritone voice suddenly cut off the debate. Duke Elgard stepped forward, instantly silencing Kazien, Allen, and Felix. The Duke's firmness as the head of the family immediately dominated the atmosphere in the plaza.
"For now, we do not need to waste time discussing this matter in someone else's territory. We must return to the Garveon Kingdom territory immediately." Duke Elgard suggested, his tone accepting no arguments. "We will discuss this matchmaking issue with a cool head once we arrive in the capital later."
Hearing the Duke's words and absolute decision, Kazien, Allen, and Felix immediately fell silent. They could only nod obediently in agreement.
Duke Elgard then turned his head, looking straight at his youngest son.
"Please prepare for our departure now, Kazien!" Duke Elgard ordered calmly. He let out a soft sigh, realizing that there was nothing more he could do about his son's popularity that had just exploded across the continent. "There is no point anymore in hiding everything or holding back. Since the incident in the arena earlier, the entire Azvel Continent already considers you, and even the Altavis family, as a massive anomaly on this land."
Kazien just remained silent and listened. He fully understood the direction of his father's words. His initial plan to live peacefully and inconspicuously at the academy had indeed been shattered to pieces. He nodded in agreement.
Seeing his son's agreement, Duke Elgard turned to look at King Nalvon. "Your Majesty, please order all your royal guard soldiers to enter the carriages first."
Even though his heart still felt confused, King Nalvon did not ask many questions. He immediately turned his body to face the ranks of his troops standing by in the plaza.
"We will return to Garveon this very day! All troops, enter the carriage immediately and prepare yourselves!" King Nalvon ordered, his voice echoing firmly across the academy plaza.
It did not take long; hearing the direct order from their king, all the royal soldiers moved orderly and one by one began to enter their horse carriages.
On the other hand, Kazien also began to give his instructions.
"Lidaz, bring all your griffon flock members close over here! And for all the guard troops from the Altavis territory, you all get into the carriage first right now!" Kazien ordered in a loud voice.
"Yes, Young Master!" all the soldiers from the Altavis family troops answered in unison. They moved quickly into the carriages without asking many questions.
"Yes, Master!" Lidaz answered obediently. The giant griffon then turned his head, looking toward his flock still scattered around the plaza area. "Everyone, let's gather close to our master right now!"
The absolute order from the griffon leader immediately made the entire flock of wild monsters walk obediently toward Kazien and gather around him in a tight formation.
Once Kazien ensured that all the Garveon Kingdom troops and the Altavis family guard troops had entered their respective carriages, he turned his body again and looked at the rest of the officials still standing in front of him.
"Please, all of you, close your eyes for a moment." Kazien said with a polite tone that nevertheless implied it was a necessity.
Without needing to question the reason, all members of the Altavis family, Hudeon and Kazien's three fiancés immediately closed their eyes calmly. They already knew very well what he was going to do.
However, the same did not apply to King Nalvon, Felix, Duke Hubert, and Dean Claus. The four of them exchanged glances, completely not understanding the sudden, seemingly nonsensical request.
But when they saw how obediently and calmly the Altavis family along with Kazien's three fiancés closed their eyes, the four of them finally brushed aside their doubts and joined in closing their eyes.
At the exact second Kazien raised his hand and intended to activate his teleportation magic, the sound of footsteps and a fairly loud call from a male voice suddenly greeted their group from a distance, specifically directed at Hudeon.
"Hudeon!" the male voice called out from the direction of the academy. "How are you?"
Hearing that highly familiar voice that always haunted his ears, Hudeon's body suddenly jerked stiffly. The green-haired boy immediately trembled in fear from his past trauma right where he stood. The facial expression of Duke Hubert beside him also changed drastically, becoming hard and tense, although the father and son still obeyed Kazien's instructions not to open their eyes.
Kazien, who had not yet closed his eyes, glanced toward the source of the voice. He clearly realized that the man who had just called Hudeon with a familiar tone was Haverd.
A very cold, faint smile formed on Kazien's lips. Instead of canceling his magic, the silvery-white-haired youth actually kept channeling his mana to activate the large-scale teleportation magic.
Instantly, a giant, bright, and conspicuous golden-yellow magic circle appeared on the ground, expanding rapidly to envelop all the carriages, griffons, and the Garveon Kingdom delegation within it. Its light blinded the eyes of anyone looking from afar.
Zap!
Instead of activating the teleportation magic, Kazien actually used Blink magic. His body vanished and instantly teleported right in front of the green-haired teenager who had just stepped closer.
Haverd's steps halted immediately. His eyes widened in shock seeing Kazien's figure suddenly standing there blocking his path in just the blink of an eye.
"Hello handsome, what a coincidence that we meet. I have a little business with you." Kazien greeted in a tone that sounded very friendly and gentle, yet his facial expression was incredibly cold, as cold as the ice he had just created in the arena.
Without giving a chance or waiting for an answer from the teenager, Kazien stepped forward. His hands moved as fast as lightning, immediately grabbing and tightly hugging Haverd's body until the green-haired teenager couldn't move his arms at all.
Zap!
In an instant, Kazien had teleported back to the center area of the giant magic circle that was already actively shining, bringing Haverd along within his strong embrace.
Realizing that he had suddenly been moved and forcibly detained, Haverd began to panic.
"What is this?! What are you doing to me?!" the green-haired teenager struggled with all his might, trying to push Kazien's body so he could break free from the strong embrace that felt like an iron clamp. "Let me go right now, you bastard!"
"There, just be quiet, handsome." Kazien said in a very gentle voice, patting Haverd's back as if calming a child. However, his grip didn't loosen in the slightest. "There are a few important things I want to ask you later. Don't worry, you might even really enjoy it."
"What do you mean?! Let g—"
Zap!
The large-scale teleportation magic finally reached its peak and fully activated. The glow of the golden light exploded brightly, covering everyone's vision, then disappeared instantly.
Along with the vanishing of that magical light, everyone, the carriages, and the dozens of giant griffons that had filled the academy plaza also vanished without a trace, teleporting through space and time toward the Garveon Kingdom.
However, after the group's departure, the large-scale teleportation magic that had just occurred immediately threw the Larkvood Kingdom academy area into an uproar.
Not far from there, precisely in the VIP corridor gate area leading to the plaza, two middle-aged figures wearing royal robes stood completely frozen.
They were King Nortvan of the Larkvood Kingdom, and King Erociel, the king of the Altoria Kingdom. Both had just intended to follow and speak with King Nalvon, but their steps were halted by that nonsensical sight.
The two leaders of the great kingdoms saw very clearly how Kazien Altavis had just cast and used massive-scale teleportation magic, easily moving dozens of humans, heavy horse carriages, and dozens of giant griffon monsters simultaneously in just the blink of an eye.
King Nortvan swallowed hard, cold sweat beginning to dampen his temples.
Just how strong is this Altavis family? King Nortvan thought, his mind still struck by a heavy shock that paralyzed his logic. One of their descendants who hasn't even graduated the academy... can use teleportation magic? Even though everyone in this world knows it is an ancient magic long lost from civilization! This... this is truly insane!
