While walking home with grey by my side after buying some cat and dog food, I felt a presence and summoned my sword and pointed by their neck.
But it was someone I know.
"Duke grane" I said in surprised while grey hissed.
I continue to point my sword at him and he raised his hands in surrender.
"I meant to talk" he said softly and the look in his eyes looking calmly at me.
I lowered my sword and picked up grey by my arms.
"What do you want?"
"Tell jiwoo that I accept his fight"
"You mean?"
"Yes" he agreed.
"Anything else?"
"I wanted to see you"
"Huh?"
We both stare at each other for long when I slightly became flustered and stuttered, this is the first time in my life someone wanted to see me except teachers in my class.
"Wha-what do you want from me?" I said with a flustered and cautious face while grey hissed.
Just as duke was about to touch grey, grey scratch him and blood came out of it.
"Sorry"
I lightly healed him as I didn't noticed his eyes stare at me.
"You're to kind" he mutters.
"What?"
"I said you're an idiot"
This little...I thought with annoyance.
"If that's all then I'll leave"
Before I could leave, he grabbed by my wrist as if to stop me in my tracks.
I turn to look back and see his eyes hesitant.
He mutters something I couldn't comprehend and so I asked but he didn't answer. He eventually let me go and he headed back, and so I did and told everything to the others.
Meanwhile with duke grane.
Duke grane POV
As I left, I looked up the full moon, the stars, the snow at my feet, everytime I look at them, I am reminded of her and when she made that stupid snowman.
Why must she make me feel like this?
It's weird and confusing.
Why when I am with her I feel so calm that I....wished to be around her more.
Why?
Why do I want to be with her more?

As we went to the frame, muse greeted us and accompanied us back to our original room.
"Welcome back again, though, I see miss y/n does not feel fine at all"
"I'm alright, in just having my period"
"Period?"
"Something like a needed monthly rest for women"
"I see, let me know if you need something"
"Thank you muse"
Before the fight could happen, I went to the bathroom to change pads and after coming out, I was greeted by duke who was walking through the halls.
"Y/n?"
"Hey" I smiled and hold my stomach like I was gonna barf
"What's wrong with you?" He questioned and I said about my monthly periods.
"I see, you shouldn't be here then"
"I wanted to" I stand straight and smiled at him, reassuring I'm fine.
He nodded and handed me a red box with black ribbon on it.
"Open it when you're alone"
"Uhm sure"
He then walks away but he paused when I said.
"Goodluck on the fight"
I smiled at him, not knowing he had flushed red face as he walks away.
