Chapter 201 - Chapter 201

"Good lad! Good lad!"

Lou Gao's booming voice carried a barely perceptible tremor of emotion. His crimson-gold eyes shimmered with heartfelt feeling.

"You've grown! You've grown this big! And you've become so imposing! So powerful! Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I knew from the very beginning that you were no ordinary little guy! But this is just this is downright unbelievable!"

His voice was filled with amazement, pride, and deep sympathy.

"These past few years following Xia'er, you must've gone through a lot, haven't you? How many impossibly hard rocks did you have to chew through? How many times were you struck by lightning or scorched by flames? Just look at this body of yours, it's forged like solid steel."

Lou Gao's voice softened, carrying the unique understanding of a master blacksmith, someone who knew exactly what it meant for a material to be tempered through endless hardship.

"It wasn't easy, It really wasn't easy. Good kid you've suffered."

Tyranitar was left somewhat bewildered by Lou Gao's sudden embrace and heartfelt words, filled with the warmth and sincerity of a seasoned blacksmith.

Its dark crimson eyes blinked as it tried to make sense of these complicated human emotions.

It might not have understood the exact meaning of words like "hardship" or "it wasn't easy," but it could clearly feel the unconditional concern and recognition conveyed through Lou Gao's voice and actions warm and blazing like a forge.

"Roo..."

A low rumble escaped its throat, carrying equal parts confusion and contentment.

The joy of being acknowledged quickly transformed into a much more direct expression.

Tyranitar's armored arms suddenly tightened.

Like two enormous steel clamps, they wrapped securely around Lou Gao's waist.

Still immersed in the joy of their reunion, Lou Gao never expected Tyranitar's response to be so enthusiastic.

"Huh? Little guy, what are you—"

Before he could finish speaking, an overwhelming force surged from his waist.

It felt as though the very earth itself had come alive.

"ROOOAR!!"

Tyranitar let out two excited roars as it exerted its strength.

The mighty Lou Gao a candidate for godhood and an Soul Douluo instantly felt all his weight disappear.

Like a weightless scarecrow, he was effortlessly lifted high above Tyranitar's head.

"Wah?!"

Lou Gao cried out in surprise before bursting into even louder laughter, filled with both shock and exhilaration.

"Hahaha! Good lad! You've gotten even stronger! You're even fiercer than I was swinging a hammer back in my prime!"

As though it had discovered a brand-new toy, Tyranitar happily began spinning around in place.

Every step it took made the black volcanic rock beneath its feet groan under the immense weight.

Held securely overhead, Lou Gao's view spun rapidly as the scorching wind swept across his face. His long crimson-gold hair, glowing like living flames, danced wildly in the air.

"Hahaha! Easy! Easy! You little rascal! You're spinning me so fast my head's getting dizzy! Hahaha! Good! What incredible strength! Damn, you've got unbelievable strength!"

Not only was Lou Gao not the slightest bit annoyed, but his laughter became even heartier.

His booming voice was filled with the sincere admiration of an elder watching a younger generation display their strength, along with the indulgent affection of someone who didn't mind being "bullied" in the slightest.

He could clearly feel the mountain-like power contained within the arms holding him aloft steady, overwhelming, yet explosive.

The strength astonished him.

But more than that, it filled him with boundless pride.

This was the power of the little guy he had watched grow up.

"Alright, alright! Tyranitar! Put Teacher down!"

Watching from the side, Lin Xia couldn't help but laugh helplessly as he hurriedly spoke up.

He knew Tyranitar all too well.

Whenever the little fellow got excited, it completely forgot to hold back.

Hearing its master's command, Tyranitar reluctantly stopped spinning.

With great care, it gently lowered the slightly dizzy but still grinning from ear to ear, Lou Gao back onto the ground.

Lou Gao stumbled a little after landing.

Only by holding onto Tyranitar's arm, which was as solid as divine metal, did he regain his balance.

Even so, the brilliant smile never left his face as he repeatedly praised Tyranitar.

"Good! Excellent! That's my boy! This strength, this physique even tougher than my Phoenix Adamantine Chisel after being tempered by divine flames! Little guy.

no, you're a big fellow now! Just look at this armor of yours... tsk, tsk... absolutely incredible! A natural foundation for a divine weapon! Wonderful! Simply wonderful! Seeing you like this makes me happier than completing my divine trial! Hahaha!"

He vigorously patted Tyranitar's shoulder, producing crisp metallic clangs as his eyes brimmed with undisguised affection and pride.

Watching the heartwarming yet somewhat comical reunion between the old man and the "little guy" especially Lou Gao's expression, as though he had just obtained the greatest treasure in existence, Lin Xia finally couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright, Teacher. Tyranitar. There'll be plenty of time later to catch up and exchange compliments."

Walking over to the two of them, his gaze swept across the devastated volcanic terrain around them, where scorching heat and lingering energy waves still filled the air.

"This isn't exactly the best place to stand around talking. The energy fluctuations are still too strong. If they attract unnecessary attention, it'll spoil the mood."

His tone returned to its usual calm composure.

"It's time for us to head back."

A flash of light burst from the storage Soul Tool on his wrist.

A luxurious carriage appeared in the open clearing.

The carriage was built entirely from durable alloy, decorated with warm jade and intricate Soul Tool inscriptions. Four majestic Galehorn Horses, a type of Soul Beast renowned for their speed stood harnessed to the front.

Its spacious interior was more than large enough to accommodate everyone, including Tyranitar in its reduced form.

"Teacher, Zhuqing, Tyranitar."

Lin Xia opened the carriage door and gestured politely.

"Please, get in first. We have a long journey back to Gengxin City. Along the way, I'll tell you everything that's happened over the past five years. Whatever you want to know, I'll answer without holding anything back. Tyranitar will have plenty of interesting stories to 'share' as well."

He smiled, knowing that although Tyranitar couldn't speak, it could convey simple emotions and memories through its mental connection with those close to it.

Hearing this, Lou Gao gave a hearty wave of his hand.

"Good! We'll do it your way! Let's go! Time to head home!"

Before boarding, he gave Tyranitar's sturdy armored arm another hearty slap.

"Come on, kid! Get in! I want to hear all about the earth-shattering things you've been up to these past few years!"

He climbed into the carriage first.

A faint, relaxed smile appeared on Zhu Zhuqing's usually cool face. She nodded to Lin Xia before lightly stepping into the carriage.

Tyranitar curiously examined the "metal box." Encouraged by Lin Xia's reassuring glance, it awkwardly but carefully followed Lou Gao inside.

Its broad frame caused the carriage to sink slightly under its weight, though the reinforced structure easily supported it.

Lin Xia boarded last and closed the carriage door.

With a soft command, he infused Soul Power into the carriage.

The four Galehorn Horses let out spirited neighs as wind gathered beneath their hooves.

Pulling the carriage carrying a newly ascended candidate for godhood, a twelve-year-old peak Soul King, an eleven-year-old Soul Elder, and the Sandstorm Monarch Tyranitar, they raced toward Gengxin City, kicking up a long trail of dust behind them.

The carriage wheels rolled rhythmically over the black volcanic rock.

Outside the windows, the Norton Volcano Range gradually faded into the glow of the setting sun, leaving behind only a legend that would shake the world and a homeward journey filled with awe and warmth.
