Chapter 149 - Chapter 149--Rain Xiang Mountain, Rose

In the depths of the Dark Universe, an F-class spaceship cut silently through space at extreme speed.

The vessel was shaped like a massive black battle sword—over six hundred meters long and nearly one hundred meters wide. Its surface bore ancient runic patterns, exuding an aura of age and authority.

Inside the luxurious main hall, Jiang Yan, Luo Feng, Hong, and Thor reclined on soft sofas. Fine wine, rare fruits, and delicacies were arranged neatly before them, while rows of stunning attendants stood respectfully behind, awaiting orders.

Red Kite sat beside Jiang Yan, eyes closed, quietly recuperating—as if everything around her were beneath notice.

An elderly man with a thin frame, hooked nose, and frost-like markings at his brows smiled gently as he addressed them.

"Four Highnesses," he said politely, "please connect to the Virtual Universe. I will personally guide you to the headquarters of the Virtual Universe Company."

This was Sha Wu, a Realm Lord recognized by the Laws, dispatched specifically to escort them into the Initial Universe.

"Alright," Jiang Yan replied. The others nodded as well.

Now officially recognized as core members of the Virtual Universe Company, their authority levels had already been unlocked.

Moments later, their consciousnesses linked to the Virtual Universe Network—

And the world transformed.

Virtual Universe Company Headquarters

Rain Xiang Mountain (Yuxiang Mountain)

Clouds and mist rolled endlessly.

Floating mountain peaks pierced the heavens like divine swords.

Sha Wu gestured ahead, his tone filled with reverence.

"This is Rain Xiang Mountain, with a total diameter of 8.9 kilometers."

"The entire mountain is divided into five regions:

Primordial RegionTaichu RegionHeaven RegionDoomsday RegionPublic Region"

"These regions are similar in size, but vastly different in population."

He turned slightly toward Jiang Yan.

"The Primordial Region, where Your Highness Jiang Yan resides, has only a little over one hundred members in total."

"The Taichu Region, where Highnesses Luo Feng and Hong will go, has over one thousand members."

"The Heaven Region, where Highness Thor will be stationed, has more than ten thousand."

"The Doomsday Region holds tens of millions."

"As for the Public Region, it is shared—commerce, leisure, and meetings are conducted there. Members of the other four regions may enter it freely."

Sha Wu added solemnly, "However, members of different regions may not enter each other's territories. If the four of you wish to meet in the future, it must be in the Public Region."

The four nodded. Red Kite had already explained much of this, but hearing it again carried weight—this was the core of humanity's future.

Entrance to the Primordial Region

Soon, Sha Wu brought Jiang Yan to an enormous ancient gate, carved from gray stone and stretching over a thousand meters in width and height.

A formless barrier shimmered faintly beyond it.

"I can only escort you this far," Sha Wu said respectfully.

"Proceed forward. Someone will receive you inside."

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thor stared ahead, visibly shaken.

The Primordial Region's treatment was legendary—

Each member owned an estate thousands of kilometers in diameter, had Immortal mentors providing constant guidance, and even their guard commanders were Immortals.

"Cultivate well over the next thirty years," Jiang Yan said with a smile, glancing back at the three of them.

"And don't spend your points recklessly."

The three nodded solemnly.

Jiang Yan turned and stepped through the gate.

Behind him, Sha Wu addressed the others.

"Highness Luo Feng, Highness Hong—allow me to escort you to the Taichu Region."

Inside the Primordial Region

"Your Highness Jiang Yan, welcome to the Primordial Region."

A white-robed elder waited inside, smiling warmly. Behind him stood dozens of Realm Lords.

"I am Aitor, administrator of miscellaneous affairs here. You may call me by name."

Jiang Yan nodded, calmly surveying his surroundings.

"Please follow me, Your Highness."

As they walked, Aitor explained:

"The Primordial Region currently contains 114 estates.

100 Realm Lords10 Domain Lords1 Universe-level3 Star-level members"

Soon, they arrived above a vast estate.

Aitor smiled. "This is Estate No. 111—your residence."

Jiang Yan looked down.

The estate spanned nearly two million square kilometers—comparable to twice the landmass of China.

And this was merely one estate in the Primordial Region.

The Guard Legion

At the estate gates, tens of thousands of guards stood in immaculate formation.

At their forefront stood a woman in green battle attire, shoulder-length short hair, features strikingly beautiful—almost indistinguishable from Earth humans.

"Your Highness."

She bowed slightly.

Behind her, the entire legion knelt on one knee.

"Greetings, Your Highness!"

Aitor gestured toward her.

"This is your Guard Commander—Rose."

"She is a Psychic Illusionist, a Marquis-rank Immortal, and among the very best even at that level."

"Marquis Immortal?" Jiang Yan was momentarily surprised.

In the original standard, Primordial members were usually assigned Immortal Military Commanders, not Marquis-rank elites.

Aitor laughed softly.

"Your Highness is a once-in-hundreds-of-millions-of-epochs genius of our human race."

"Your status far surpasses that of ordinary Primordial members."

"Your safety is naturally of utmost importance."

Jiang Yan nodded in understanding.

At that moment, a voice echoed directly in his mind.

"Junior Uncle."

"My master is Demon Prison Venerable."

Jiang Yan's eyes sharpened slightly.

"Oh? Senior Sister?"

Rose smiled faintly in response.

Jiang Yan already knew—from Red Kite—that among his lineage, only Demon Prison Venerable and Golden Emperor Venerable were still alive.

Demon Prison Venerable, a High-level Universe Venerable, had countless disciples.

Rose was clearly one of them.

"Then I'll be relying on you from now on," Jiang Yan said with a smile.

Rose bowed once more.

"This is my duty."
